Personally I think the 8 episodes are from how Helluva Boss seasons work (8 in the first season and I THINK 12 in season 2?) But it sorta works for HB because it's sorta episodic with sprinkles of storytelling. But that never really fixes the pacing problems, I said this on a different channel but it would've been best if they chose to do a full season for introductions. Just let it be good and end on a high even if it wasn't completed THEN if it isn't, work to push forward. People remember good concepts that didn't get continued or started to build up before cancellation (*cough* RTTMNT *cough*) than a project that rushed their entire plot in 8 episodes.
