Thanks so much for the flip! Your setup is so functional and full of information. I'm testing out this size planner for 2024, and was wondering where to get 30mm ring mechanism? My cover is an Aura Estelle Scarlet rings and strings.
Thank you for the compliment! If I'm not mistaken, AE uses Krause Rings in their planners as well? If so, the two biggest places to find them are the webshops of Gillio and Van der Spek. I personally prefer Van der Spek because they have a very reasonable price. However, the shipping is expensive. Also, gold will always be upwards of 3x's more expensive than silver and also gaps significantly easier. I would suggest, if you're purchasing, to either buy multiple to justify the cost of shipping, or reach out to planner friends in your country to see if they would like to split the shipping cost with you. (An example - I think my silver 30mm were $12 usd on the Van der Spek site, but shipping was upwards of $23 so I was looking at roughly $36 dollars for a single set of rings.)
Thank you for another great video. I am going to need to check out ppco for the projects section. I’ve placed tabs in my planner, 4 top, 6 side, and 4 bottom. I’m confused about “tiered” so I’m going to have to search for her and find her video. I’m assuming she’s on yt. I create my own functional inserts and love figuring the math when making z folds, bifold, half sheets, and trifold. I’m such a nerd with my brain and my planning and 1 day off routine is so stressful for me as I forget plans or tasks. I love schedules and must follow one religiously to help me feel safe. I love grids in 4mm and calculate all of that in my inserts when designing. I’m having a problem with my rapid logging /brain dumping and don’t know how to reorganize them once they’ve been put on paper. I’m thinking the GTD would help me organize them into smaller baby steps so I’m going to need to create my own GTD inserts for my brain and label the categories that make sense to me. I’m unsure if task cards in my planner pockets could help remind me what steps to check in my planner so I am not forgetting to check my sections each day, several times a day. I can close my planner (barely) and it is a Gillio medium 30mm rings. I’ll check your links for the peanuts planner co to see if you linked her video. I would love to see what’s in your bag. I was looking at a tote from baggu and after payday I’ll be ordering it. I have a leather brown tote with my undyed planner and I’m not so sure that’s are safe option since the colors can transfer.
Perhaps "layered" is a better term than tiered? Peanuts planner co, yes, she is on RUclips! And thank you! I'll make sure to share in the near future. Thank you for watching! 💚
