I cant believe we are at another notebook challenge! I did the same thing with my courses. They are all in one notebook now, and I color-code it all with pens. So if I have to jump around, I can. I am #6 learner and #3 Input, so I'm always wanting to learn! ❤ the Lavender notebook looks fun.
I'm not usually one for fancy notebooks, but watching your notebook challenges has inspired me ❤ I started using a beautiful pink notebook I got as a gift 5 years ago! You're given me so many ideas for things I want to record in it for 2024 💐

I personally love the way you are so consistently reevaluating your planning methods and you aren’t afraid to change if something isn’t working.
I’d love to try the Erin Condren or Lavendaire planners because they aren’t available easily here in Australia. 😊
@heartbreathings I love watching YOUR sticker/notebook videos because you authentically get joy from them. I think the consumerism concerns are in regard to people buying just so they can *influence* others to buy or because they think they have to purchase an item to fill a need/FOMO/etc. however you never come across that way. The happiness you show over enjoying your items makes me happy ❤ and I live vicariously 😁
Yay! Listening to this while I continue to make my own plans for the year. I actually do my yearly planning over the first weeks of January rather than in December. It just works better for me. So the timing is perfect! ❤ Also, as someone who loves stickers but never uses them so never buys them, I would LOVE to just sit and watch you sort your collection. 😁 Watching people play with craft and planner supplies make me so happy.

❤❤❤❤ So excited I found you!!! I'm a writer, but have been on a break for about 6 years. I have so many story outlines, short stories, poems, that I've jotted down over this break. I decided 2024 would be the year that I write and publish my first novel. These notebooks are so inspirational and I currently have the classic happy planner as my writing planner. But... I need something smaller to carry with me everywhere. I love your suggestions and absolutely love your style.
Would love to see a sticker collection video! Buying planner supplies and watching videos of other people's planner supplies are some of the true joys in life!
Yay! I love the Notebook Challenge! This year, I'm really committed to not buying any more planners, journals, notebooks, pens, markers, stickers, and other stationery. A few months ago, my bestie gifted me an entire large shoebox filled with stickers and another box filled with planner inserts. I literally do NOT need any more! I'm probably set for the next few years, if not longer! lol
She also gave me a Moleskine weekly planner, which is what I'm using for 2024. I've paired it with a similar-sized TN insert that I'm using as a journal. Both of them are housed in a Planner Perfect wide TN cover. That, along with an A5 binder for writing and a couple of other notebooks, is what my "planner stack" is for this year. I'm going to make an effort to keep it down to those few and store the rest away in my notebook/purse closet (that's what I'm calling it now because that's what's in it! lol), in the hope of not overwhelming myself with too many options out in the open. However, whenever I get tempted to buy anything new, I plan to open that closet door and stare at its contents, and hopefully that will deter me from spending any money! lol

I am excited for the start of the year. I have been working for around 3 weeks setting things up so that I don't have excuses for not using my things as I have plans to add more pages to my Happy notes to finish my first book zero draft, I'm guessing I just need around 4 to 6 scenes before I can write THE END, and I hope to also finish passing things on my computer for my first draft (after November brought me 20,000 extra words compared to what I had handwritten (even after the few changes I made). Have started using a Notebook therapy journal to do what my friend is calling an encyclopedia 😅 where I'm tracking info on BTS (I'm so late to discovering them😅), where I plan to include reviews of their challenge shows and such. Also picked a notebook to be my studies junk journal (for Crystal moon and such studies). Have picked a notebook where I plan to write lyrics of songs I want to learn but junk journal style adding pics of the music video, performance or images related to the song.
Proud to say I managed to finish a couple of notebooks that I used for daily brain dumps that include To Do lists, Kids projects info, Don't forget lists and such, and my latest one just have a few pages left in it❤. Also managed to survive the holidays without buying myself a notebook but was gifted 2😂 one of which will move with me as a collector of info (including things I would later write on my junk journals) because I still feel nervous about "messing up" my pretty notebooks and this way I can decide before hand what to write and do my researches/studies and reviews while waiting for the kids at an appointment and such without feeling I need a bag full of supplies to make it pretty😅.
Plan on picking another Daily list notebook when I finish the one that's close to done because it's been helping me keep the overwhelm and anxiety in control

I love the Erin Condren planner. I would use it for my Zoom classes for adults with Autism that I do during the week along with the volunteer work I do in the disability community in Maryland. I love my volunteer job! It's my passion!

Have you ever heard of a Common Place notebook? I found videos about them online and I use the B6 Staology for mine. Its a combination of quotes, stories, lessons, characters and ideas all in one hub. I think you might like it. It might eliminate some of the problems you discussed.

I hope Evie feels better!! I started a B6 Stalogy plotting notebook for Nano because I wanted something smaller and portable to take with me while on vacation in October. I love the size and it’s definitely more convenient to tote around. My classic size disc bound plotting notebook still has my heart though because I made it myself 😊. I love all the notebooks for the giveaway, but that first floral planner is my favorite. Thank you for your generosity!
I realized this year I will be working with multiple notebooks so I’m excited for this. I’ve designated them as Japanese, Korean, journaling, spiritual, budgeting, writing prompts, my series novel bibles, and a sketchbook. This is my year of learning and getting out of that stuck mindset 2023 put me in.
I’d love to see a sticker collection and updates on how you’re able to use it and things like washi and pens up!

I tried the Lavendaire Artist of Life workbook when it first came out and completely forgot about it until your 2024 planner line up video! I'd love to give it a try, the quality looks so much better!
1, I love your videos. You are the reason I was able to finish the first draft on my debut novel (hopefully coming out this year) and you motivate me with every video.
2. I would love the Erin Condren planner.
3, Finally, I just want to say I am sorry for Eve getting sick over Christmas. I hope she's feeling better and no one else got sick, and if they did, not too bad. Please get lots of rest (Both of you) and take care of yourselves. I may enjoy you putting out these videos, but not at the risk of your health.

My first planner was EC! Love her planners. Then moved to Happy planners and have several HP sticker books. Now I’m on hobonichi kick. I love notebooks have a whole tote full, so very excited about a challenge.

I got home from nights and found this waiting in my inbox. What a lovely note to end the day on! I love hearing your thought processes and transitions through planning - it's something I've been struggling to find my feet in. Thank you for saying what you did about going easy on myself for not being "perfect" automatically on Jan 1. I had every intention of everything changing that day but things have just been really hard.. and im trying to get through it. Just really needed to hear that today so thank you! Hope little one feels better asap! My little had covid last year, along with everyone in the house (i literally felt like i was dying) but it didnt affect her hardly at all... Well 7 days before Christmas she got the flu and it kicked her butt. Got so bad we had to take her to the ER! thankful that is over. So hard when our babies are sick.

I truly enjoy watching your videos especially the notebook challenge ones. Thank you for touching upon the trending topic of stationery consumerism. I feel that people should do what works best for them. It's not like these creators will stop making haul or planner videos, but some of them have put all of the blame on companies advertisements. It's like you don't have to buy and try everything that's advertised to you. I have found what works for me and I stocked up on it because inflation is so real 😂😂.

It's so fun watching this. I can say I'm so bad when it comes to having notebooks around waiting for the perfect time to use it. With that said I've been going back finding some surprises along the way. Story starts, ideas, and even scenes I've forgotten all about.
So up to a point I really don't need another one BUT the Artist's Life workbook has been on my radar for some time. Still I find ways not to get it. If I'm chosen to get this workbook Awesome. If not it's not meant for me.
This is something I've learned along the way. If something is meant to be it'll come in perfect timing if it's not something better will come. Even if it's a waiting game.
Yay for the first 2024 Notebook Challenge! I look forward to these every month. The Lavendaire and Erin Condren planners look awesome. I've never tried the EC A5 size. But the artwork on the other planner is so joyful and lush and lovely.
I always look forward to your planner videos. I'm from South Africa, so we don't get the amazing planners that you do and it costs an arm and a leg to try and import it, so I try and make do with what I can find. I'm busy editing a book and writing another two this year, so having a planner is really going to benefit me. Here's praying I find the right one to help me make my author dreams come true. Sorry to hear about Evie having COVID =( I hope she gets to feeling better soon! That's no fun for anyone. Loved the beautiful covers on your planners this year! I have a Laurel Denise I regularly use, and I haven't scrounged up for the folio for it yet (going to Disney this year means saving ALL the pennies!), so I use a laptop case for it - a slide in folio type. It's soft and pink and gorgeous for when I have to go to the classroom. However, you DID inspire me to ask for a planner charm for Christmas, and now I have the cutest pink bunny charm hanging on it. It makes me so happy to see! I can't wait to see how your Cherry on Top manifests this year. I know it's going to bring you such joy! I would love the daily duo if I'm picked on the giveaway

You actually inspired me to create my own story journal where I make a list of things that fill my creative well. I can't wait for Publish &Thrive. I joined HB90 last year & it was so helpful at realistic time expectations.
I have a set of ten differently colored hardcover journals sitting on my shelf staring at me. I bought them with the idea of, 'oh, I can use one color for each of the books in my series' - and yet here I am, still writing notes on loose scrap paper and having trouble organizing them. :P Guess it's time to pull those notebooks out!
Great video! I have found that the more pressure I put on myself to start on all my goals right as the years starts , the less likely I am to follow through. I’ve learned that I don’t have to start my reset on January 1st and things will still get accomplished. The Artist life workbook is definitely my pick out of the three giveaway items.

I love these montly reminders to do a notebook audit. I have a few books that I've started but want to get back into and that's going to be my main goal of the month.

This is my first notebook challenge video I've watched for you. I absolutely loved seeing how you're using your notebooks and planners and what you're considering for the year. Joining HB90 this December is my first time ever using a planner at all...ever. I have the HB90 for this quarter, so I do not choose to have an entry for the giveaways, though they are all gorgeous. It's generous of you to give them away. But as I am not even sure how I will be using one yet, I'll just continue what I've started with the HB90 planner. :) I was excited to read about P&T opening registration on 1/20! That's the course of yours that I'm incredibly interested in, though having taken HB90 in December, I can already feel my momentum growing for Q1! Thank you so much for all the content you share with you community.
I changed my whole process for 2024. Changed my planner. Changed the set-up. Changed my view point on its use. So far, so good.

I love seeing your notebook challenges! So many great ideas for how to use my own. I’ve decided to use old planners and notebooks for the coming year, in order to spend less. And gosh, it takes so long to uncoil, setup and date everything. 😅 But it’s a great additional creative journey I get to have with my planners. I've loved watching this video because it allayed some worry I already was having about starting 2024 sick (actually, an allergic reaction that is taking forever to go away and really cramping my style). It made me realize that unless I start on January 1 (and the several days before) completely healthy, getting a strong start on day one is kinda impossible. So I was bummed about that, but you really put things in perspective. I hope your daughter is better now. I'm still working out my notebook/planner stack for the year, but I'm starting off with two totally new systems: the Daily Grind Planner for my day-to-day goal-keeping, and the Commit30 planner for my EVC. It'll be the first time I'm not in an A5 3-ring binder in years. But I'm going to take a tip from your notebook challenge to dust off some stash notebooks and use them for projects, classes, and planning my next novel. Thanks for all the ideas and encouragement!

I would love the 6-month planner! This video was so inspiring and fun. For my notebooks, I have a weekly planner, a pocket planner, a journal, a poetry/flash fiction journal and I’m using the Novel Companion reading journal.

I am so excited to be using up my notebooks. I just completed a 5-section spiral notebook with morning pages which spanned from August-December. I am now in another spiral notebook for my morning pages. Plus several Hobonichi A5, A6 and Weeks for other things. I would love the Erin Condren or Artist for Life notebook if I won.
