I watched this video, went out to the garage. Had a bunch of 2x material and made one in about an hour. Even had nice casters that I didn't use on another project. I'm going to put carpet around the top bunks for my nicer composite kayak. Thanks alot, great idea!
How is that? Are you making a new one with pvc? I am heading to the lumber store to purchase 2x4x8 and will make your design this weekend. BTW are those 3 in or 4 in casters?
I am going to add the PVC pipes to this cart so the kayaks can sit on them. You can install the PVC pipes length wise so the kayak's grooves on the bottom can sit directly on the PVC pipes. The casters the are rated for 150lbs. Not sure how big they actually are.

Do you mind advisin what the dimensions of the 2x4's were?
I like your project! I wonder if pool noodles on the kayak support would fit, to protect the bottom of the kayak?
Omar Rodriguez Noodles would help. I'm probably going to add pvc pipes here soon.

$25 in material 4 years ago. 2021 $100 would do it.
