I am from Kathmandu,Nepal.The climate of Kathmandu is cold, so plastic is better than clay pot, because in the sun, plastic is heated more than clay pot and soil is also heated, as a result the plants grows well.This pot is used in cold weather in off-season.

Hi, pot k size pe depend karta hai. In normal 8-10 inch k pot me, ap bottom me 3-4 holes kar skte ho. Pot kafi bada ho to ap side me bhi holes kar do.

Hi, I have used some. Neither water absorbtion, nor air circulation. I got too much rust in my pot, if you are going to use it make sure pot is big enough so roots do not touch the metal.

my experience is clay pots are more durable than cement pots..I have clay pots since 11 to 12 years but not any cement pot...
Plastic pot me uper half hi soil fill kerna cahiye .nichey bricks ya gritty filll ker rakhey . Plastic pot me dranaj hole jyada rakhna hoga tab na to fungus lagi or na to plant me kabhi over watering ki problem hogi... or balconi wale to bilkul aisa hi Kate....ye meri observation hai..
My experience with Plastic pot has been the worst, I would certainly go with the clay pot for any sort of plant. Beginner must avoid buying plastic pot even if they are sold for free

Hi, You live in which location? I am in Delhi, here temp goes upto 2 degree celsius also and I never faced this problem in ceramic pot.
Hello everyone i am starting to plant the flowers in the cement holes but it does not have a drainage holes i am a beginner i have only plants flowers in ground. Do i need a drainage holes in my cement pots or i can grow plants without it.

Madam during storm and breeze(on roof) clay pot broke easily a damage the plant.....otherhand Ceramic is not for all for cost so This year i using growbag(polybag),,,,, Madam, is polybag harmful?

Follow all the "repoting rules". Then, put it in semi shade area. So, that it gets 2-3 hours sunlight. Otherwise put it under a green net.

Really really nice....but just wanna know why my cement pots are not good for my plants?
The soil in them gets fungus (becomes green) and the plant dies. While in the same circumstances, the plants in my clay pots are fresh and healthy and the soil in them is just fine.
I googled, but it said, clay pots and concrete pots are equally porous and can breathe. Then why...??
I worked really hard on making concrete pots for my area, they turned out nice, but my plants are not happy in them, and don't survive 😢😢

Hi, cement pots are not that much porous. Have you mixed anything in cement?
