andrey chikatilo committed 65 murders between 1978 and 1990, 53 of them were proved.
He was a teacher, his first murder was a 9-year-old girl.
He framed someone else for the crime and the accused was executed, first in prison and then sentenced to death.
He committed horrific acts such as playing with the bodies of his victims, dismembering them, gouging out their eyes.
It was only 22 years later that he was caught in the small area where the murders began and were concentrated.
the police investigated satanic groups for removing the organs of their victims and paedophilia offenders because the victims were young, which led to dozens more murders by chikatilo.
Between 1983 and 1990, he killed 60 people, including a policeman and two inspectors who suspected him.
This case is an embarrassment for the USSR.
He was arrested three times and released three times, his blood and saliva tests were wrong, and his confessions solved cases that had no clues. chikatilo travelled almost all over the USSR, killing a person in every city.
