They're taking so many cues from Isolation, right down to the design of the main station itself, that they should've just adapted it to the big screen.
I can't wait to see alien Romulus
Yeah it'll probably be good
Comes out on my birthday. Pretty cool birthday present from the universe.

This video wins the award for repeating the same scenes 20million times🎉
I absolutely cannot wait for this to release! This movie reminds me of my favorite and very underrated Videogame Alien Isolation.
My most anticipated movie of the summer
Nice!
This movie is going to rock!
I hope this gets us a proper alien isolation sequel
Alien isolation was a great game . And it got pretty intense at times and definitely gave you a feeling of dread and panic while trying to hide
Generally it's best to not have high expectations, but IMO this film sounds like it might live up to the hype. I hope so.
Megalopolis = Fall of New York aka Rome.
Alien: Romulus = Roman times inspired movie neatly camouflaged in Alien lore.
I think this would be the first Alien film takes place on a space station, cause it was either in a spaceship (Alien, Alien Resurrection - and that one barely felt like a set, Promethues, Alien Covenant) or on a establishment on a planet surface (Aliens, Alien 3 and parts of Prometheus and Covenant) and the Sevastopol from Alien Isolation was the closest we get to a space station. If they have the right aesthetic and ambience (which looks like they nailed it so far) Renaissance would feel like a scifi version of a haunted castle, which would be awesome to see.
Ripley wakes up on a space station(earth) in Aliens but that's it.
@@user-on9yz2wz9q Oh yeah the Gateway station, but it didn't feel very explored, more like a checking off point for the protagonist's story arc haha
So many questions and speculations! Like who originally ran this space station? How did they acquire the xenomorph from LV-426, or was there another hive elsewhere? Which is where I believe a prequel for this is already needed. And if there will be any survivors, will there be a sequel? We'll just have to wait and see how this movie turns out; how it connects to ALIEN, will it acknowledge anything from Ridley Scott's - sadly incompleted - prequel stories (Prometheus and Covenant), or any connections to the six ALIEN short films.
Would be cool if the sleep pods were from the Covenant.
Similar to what happened at Sevastapol station in Alien Isolation perhaps ?
In the original Alien, the corridors were tight and added oppressive anxiety, being wonderfully shot by then talented Ridley Scott....here I see wide lighted corridors, making the facehuggers look like bugs...watched Alvarez version of Evil dead, hope it will not turn an Alien-movie into a teen-slaughter movie....
"Let's party, smoke weed and have pre-marital sex at the space station."
First off..love the channel..your critiques are always introspective. But...I'm sorry to say..I just couldn't watch this all the way through. I have such great expectations for this film...as I consider the first two presentations as the holy grail of franchises. I'll have to tough it out and wait for the release. I don't want to know anything about the premise or expectations...other than the teaser. I know that this mindset is unwise...but I want to be WOWed or Disappointed on my own evaluations. Again..great channel!! Wishing you continued success.
In Aliens, the face huggers had fingernails too. Dont know what this guy is on.
Please be good, please be good.
when’s the main trailer coming out?
already i don't think such similar names would be used for the two parts of the station, it would lead to confusion if someone misheard it.. this is just shoehorning in some greek mythology for the sake of it, i will be surprised if its great..
is this a new movie
I can’t wait for Romulus man! I’ve been a fan since I saw Aliens in 1991 on LaserDisk 😅. I’m ready for a proper Alien movie since the very disappointing Prometheus and Covenant films
Prepare for further disappointment 😂
If this movie is going to be any better than Prometheus and ALIEN Covenant, will it be as memorable as ALIEN and ALIENS?
@@olsenlibra623 that I’m not sure. I’m hoping it will be epic
I’ll just play Alien Isolation and save some money.
Me too. Currently stuck in a cupboard in the medical centre.
Pretty sure buying a cinema ticket is cheaper than buying a game.
@@allanparker8897 I already own the game yo, just haven’t played, too chicken!
This movie is a remake of Alien and Aliens.
*UNDERWATER 2020*
If you play Aliens dark to sing in one of the chapters you and your team go to a vegetative station and where you kill one of the Merchants who smuggled the aliens on board aliens on board you can either choose to let him live or kill them I chose kill them.
But I think that place is a decommissioned station and that's where merchants in space Pirates trade at
no, space stations are not characters...
Kids 😂
Disney owns aliens now.
Prey was trash and if you look at the trailer. It has some blantant DEI.
This is going to fuck the franchise further
Prey was not trash
Down with dei. Why are there any ethnicities in space? Obviously we'd have left them all back on earth so we could colonize space with our pure, white seed. Right, brother?
Did you know this is why the xenomorph is actually black! It's meant to symbolize the white man's struggle. Our struggle! We shall overcome, my brother.
@user-on9yz2wz9q it was garbage. Ive never fallen assleo 3 times and restarted. It was dull, preachy snd predictable while using nostalgic scenes from other movies.
Her using her little tool and rope were a perfect rip off of scorpion and mortal kombat.
The entire thing was ridiculous snd then they spit on the comics as well
