You must be tall. On top of that rock pile, looks like a recipe for a tipover. I have a 2002, getting set up for several trail adventures later this summer.
Thanks @DYLAN DUDE 822! Glad you like the content. I'm based in Washington state. Go get one! They are everywhere and fairly cheap to own. Just don't let it overheat!
It's going to boil down to how you intend to ride. If you expect to lean to the dirt and you don't mind limiting your speed, the XR650L is a great bike. Dollar for dollar though, I think I'd go with the KLR. The price point for a road capable thumper is truly a great value. Better wind protection, fuel injection, better instrumentation, etc. Either way, pick one and get out there!
@@impactmotochannel I appreciate your comment I’m new to the whole bike scene so don’t know a whole lot, but I am taller like 6’6” and I heard both are great bikes for taller people. I’ve been hearing though that the klr doesn’t have torque like the Honda and doesn’t get up as fast but that’s just what I’ve heard. I do like the look of the KLR it looks more like a motorcycle instead of a dirt bike and have heard good things about the comfiness of the seat on the KLR.
@@spencersullivan4437 Look into the Suzuki DR650. More grunt and better top end speed than the KLR or the XR, simple valve adjustments, better in the dirt vs the KLR and better on the road vs the XR.
Man thank you for the video. I just love dual Sports and Scramblers. I'm so in love with these on and off road motorcycles😢😄.
You should get one!
I think i should get a honda...No I'll get 2 honda xr650l dualsports.
Enjoyed the video much better than a lot of the mundane backroad videos. Looks like you actually had fun and saw a couple wheelies as well. Love it!
Thank you! Nothing beats the XRL in smiles per gallon.

You guessed it! I'm 6' 5". Enjoy that XRL, they're a ton of fun!
Nice ride! I like your see through gas tank. I'm interested to install one on my bike as well!
Highly recommend! I'm still getting used to the unknown fuel level on the KTM.
You had a great time
Cant wait to get one of my own planning on getting a 2022 once I start working soon going for a 1988 xr250r to a 650 can’t wait
Right on! Be safe out there!
Dyno jet kit or Dave's Mod? I want my bike to run like that
Awesome! Nice video. I always have tons of audio difficulty with my helmet mic lots of wind noises.
Yeah, it's a struggle!
Looks more like Blacksnake than Mormon Grade. Keep those Blue Mt videos rolling
Will do!
