Haikyuu is a very inspirational anime where you learn so many things as you feel like you're growing up with these characters. Truly a great anime and once again, I'm glad there are still reactors watching this today

The reason for Nishinoya being up front is because he was covering for Hinata who was spiking. In case the spikers get blocked usually liberos are the ones who bring the ball up. Also about the term Deuce: volleyball set normally ends at the point 25. But in order to do so the winning team must be 2 points ahead of the opposite team(ex: 25-23) if both team reaches point 24 the one who can score 2 points above will win the set. There happened some games in real life, even reached 32-30 point a set.
the best thing about haikyuu is the rollercoaster of emotions, i feel like with other medias we usually get the cliche of the protagonist winning, but haikyuu isnt like that at all its so frustrating but shows such a good representation of what sports are really like irl, you never know for sure who's gonna win
Noya has to positioning himself a little bit to the front so he can do "block follow". Kenma "receive" is unexpected, karasuno lower their guard a little but that's all nekoma need to score.
Always love to see your reactions♥ Comment on why Nishinoya isn't in the back at 14:27 , I believe it's because Noya was preparing for block retrieval and went close to the net in case the spike was blocked. The scene was slowed down but the receives could go really fast so it's not easy to react sometimes 😂

it was the other way around for me since i watched haikyuu before alice in borderland. so in episode 2 of alice in borderland and i saw chishiya, i was like "duuude, he looks like kenma from haikyuu!!!" 😂

This show is so wholesome, it helped me get through the tough times of the Pandemic.
They were so caught up with the VA that they weren’t hyped that coach ukai is confirmed to continue coaching the team!

- Kuroo,the tall one from Nekoma,who's friend with Kenma is Gojo and Hawks (my hero academia)

- Asahi is Tokoyami in my Hero Academia
- Kageyama is Iida in my Hero Academia
- Tsukishima (the blond with glasses) is Shigaraki in My Hero Academia,Toge Inumaki in JJK and Rui in Demon Slayer
- Daichi (the captain of Karasuno) is Rengoku and Kamo in JJK (the one who has his eyes closed all the times)
OMG YES I definitely see the similarity between Kenma and Chishiya from alice in borderland. They both give cat vibes. Perceptive and somewhat cunning. Love the reaction btw 💜

12:58 so a deuce in Volleyball is when you tie the score starting at 24 points. Usually a game ends when one team reaches 25 first, but when they tie at 24, it's a deuce, and to resolve the tie, the game continues until one team scores 2 consecutive points. so 24-26, or 27-25, or 34-32, however long it takes.
Takeda-sensei (Levi’s voice guy) is actually a teacher in Karasuno high school. In Japan, a lot of teachers will be assigned as a supervisor for whatever club they have, and coaches will be hired to teach skills. So Takeda-sensei is a supervisor for Karasuno volleyball club who teaches literature at school!

Ron absolutely right about no baddies in this anime, it's just a bunch of high school kids who love playing volleyball. No special supernatural abilities, NOBODY is going to die after an intense match/battle LOL.

The reason Noya is front is because he wants to pick up blocked balls. That was most of his training after Asahi left so he can back him up in case he gets blocked.

If you like Haikyuu's characters, like how you can't exactly hate anyone, you should give World Trigger a shot. The show is really good in bringing up side characters and the battle tactics is amazing. I can't emphasize how much I love the battle tactics.
"Why was Noya so far up" It's because he was following the spiker to receive in case they got blocked
Noya was close to the net because on Hinata's attack was guarding in case of a block. Usually he would've moved back once Nekoma played it, but everyone just assumed the ball was gonna hit the ground. So when Kenma got it over on the last touch everyone on Karasuno was caught ball watching.
I think Noya was up front for the last point because he was preparing to cover a blocked spike from Hinata. In my armchair opinion, once he sees that Hinata's spike got received (albeit messily) he should've repositioned himself to the rear for future plays since there was no longer a stuffed block threat, but I don't know how fast these plays are so I can't say I fault him for, you know, keeping his eyes on the ball.

Fun fact about Alice in Borderland (no spoilers): that character that you said resembles a cat and looks similar to Nekoma's setter is Chishiya. His name sounds like 'Cheshire' as in Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland, so you were totally right ! You'll find many of the characters in that show to be named after animals like the OG characters.

Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. I am a big fan of Haikyuu!!. It's really a well written story. I am focusing more on BTS these days so have not been watching much anime. But i love rewatching with u. =0] This one has great comedy. I am currently watching Naruto Shippuden. i am up to the filler and paused. That pause has lasted years, lol. But I did finish Naruto and Bleach. Bleach just got new episodes so I started to watch that. I am so glad ur having fun. Love this section in the story. Great characters. That battle was everything.
