The cool thing about Xyz is that you can often throw in a couple of them even if your deck isn't focused on summoning Xyz, since they're generic. Like if you have a lot of level 4s, it wouldn't hurt to run castel the skyblasting musketeer or tornado dragon if you have the space in your extra deck.
I think in a stream you mentioned really wanting to do a video on card economy (aka why Pot of Desires is a +1 and not a -9 despite the memes), and I'd actually really like to hear what you have to say about the concept in general
Michael Mireb Regardless of whether Pot is a +1 or a -9, I wouldn't play it right now anyway cause literally everyone and their mother plays Ash Blossom.
Yeah, card advantage could be a good topic, you could also talk about why it's not always helpful to use, like how foolish burial and book of moon are both -1 but also incredibly useful in a lot of decks.
How about a mini-episode to explain correct extra-deck summoning, and why you can call of the haunted a ED monster that had been special summoned from the ED without fusion/synchro/xyz summoning it. (Starlight road for instance)
You mentioned two of my favorite decks to play! Cyber Dragons (been building them since their release), and Raidraptors (Been working really hard to make it work, and it's finally starting to come together).
i think that at all of the rank up cards the seventh one us the best one because you can bring out c101 that don't need xyz material or even when you drew it at the starting hand you can use it for n99
why cant I use #95. as a material for Full armor photon dragon when it specifically says on the card "using a galaxy-eyes monster" it dose not specify that it has to be a rank 8 monster
I have a spell that inflict 500dmg at opponent for every xyz summon I do. Do this count for XYZ overlay or only when 2 or more monsters combined to create a xyz summon?
Back in the day during the fusion era when someone ran a elemental hero deck when we summon something like steam healer or mudball man we just stacked the fusion material on top of each other cause no one had the actual fusion monster and since most of the yugioh players in my school watched the show we new what each hero did plus I remember trying to fuse clayman with gravekeepers vassel so yea
Regarding RUM The Seventh One - Cyberdarks can run that pretty well. Namely, the newly released Xyz monster Number 71: Rebarian Shark can let you put a Rank-Up Magic card at the top of the deck. *cough * The Seventh One *cough* That effect happens when 71 is sent to the GY, but it doesn't need to be from the field. Cyberdark Claw lets you mill from your Extra Deck.
Thanks. I have always loved the Cyberdarks, and now that Legendary Duelists provides new support, it's opened up a lot of combos. Common things to mill are: Rebarian Shark (as described above), Elder Entity N'tss (to destroy 1 card on the field), and Shooting Quasar Dragon (Quasar floats into Shooting Star Dragon if it goes from field to Graveyard, which includes if it's equipped to one of the Cyberdark fusion monsters). Also, the milling can set up for Miracle Synchro Fusion, which includes some powerful Naturia and Windwitch monsters. Speaking of which, milling Predaplant Chimerafflesia can search a Fusion card for you.
About Quasar: It misses timing with the effect of Cyberdarkness Dragon. It does NOT miss timing, however, with the effect of Cyberdark Dragon. It also works if those monsters are destroyed by other means. Cyberdarks are a fun engine to do some silly things with their new support, but they're slow, easily stoppable, and overall and not very good. It's definately a deck you'd only play against people using equally slow decks that have very little negation, like Superheavy Samurai and such.
When it comes to the fusion synchro xyz triangle, my preferred card designs are like this: xyz, crazy good but limited use utility like Utopia Lightning, Castel, and Breaksword. They're powerful outs on you're turn but after being used are essentially beat sticks. Ones I don't like are ones that can be used on the opponents turn offensively (Drident) don't require material for effects (Toad). Fusions, monsters that will melt your face off when you get a big one out, while the smaller ones either help with that, add some utility, or support the rest of the deck. The big monsters should either be hard to out or float in some way, unless very easy to summon. Synchros, (my personal favorite) the smaller ones are specialized or limited utility while the big ones are the absolutely crazy boss monsters, the kind that are very powerful with general effects, very hard to out, and are a commitment to make (like the Quasar line). Ones I don't like are the ones that just give way too much power for how little investment they require (Crystal Wing). That's my preferred design for them.
So, Dave, I heard you had/have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, I just wanted to ask you about my wrist issues, and if you could help. I'm in grade 9, and about a week ago I started to get sore wrist (left wrist, also my writing hand) right where the thumb and wrist meet. With a little time, it now hurts a ton to bend the wrist in any way (doing pushups felt like inside of my wrist would explode) and It's been rather uncomfortable. Writing in class results in the top of my thumb (from the tip to the joint right above the fingernail) goes numb in that area, however, my wrist itself just gets slightly sore. Shuffling cards and searching through the deck is uncomfortable. A lot of my time is spent typing, writing in school, and playing cards (hand shuffling, shuffling the deck and searching playing YGO). Do you have any leads as to what this could be? Moreover, should I be worried? I'm thinking just getting a wrist brace and trying my best not to use my wrist often (oh and the wrist that's sore is my left wrist, which is my dominant hand). If you took the time to read this, and possibly reply, I thank you so much, I've tried Google and I can't diagnose myself, and I'm wondering if It's bad enough I should see a doctor, or if It's just something minor. You have my heartfelt gratitude if you can help me a little here.
Alright, good thing is, I don't use my phone that much, I'll try my best to see my Doctor, thank you for giving me some sort of direction, it truly does mean a lot, I feel as though it isn't that bad yet, just hoping I'll be told that giving it time to recover is all I need, I know I've already said it, but I can't stress it enough, thank you.
I was playing a yugioh game demo and at some point some sign was hovering over my extra deck and I could summon monster with black outline. Little did I know that was a xyz monster and all I knew was that two monster equal stronger monster that can activate its ability twice. So my next duel I had two monsters on the field but I couldn't xyz summon, but when I watch an idiots guide to summoning I got even more confuse because I don't know what a tuner monster is.
hey i got back into yugioh at the xyz point as well, i found out some of my friends were making/had decks and i was like hey i have a really super old deck somewhere, they were like why not make a new one? so i went out and brought 2 pack from whatever was there at the time and since i got hazy pillar and hazy flame cerberus i decided to make a hazy flame deck...i still have the old thing around somewhere
XYZ monsters do not have "levels", they have "ranks". They require monsters with the same "level", so to answer your question, no. There are however a few monsters that can be summoned using monsters with ranks but they specifically say that you can and are an exception.
@@davinator1212 ah thank you cause i didnt know but last thing would it work that way if you had multiple say like 4 rank xyzs one on the field has 1 material and then the xyz could you use those to do a 2nd xyz rank 4 with the 1 already used material and xyz for a new xyz
not 100% sure what you are asking... but XYZ material are not "on the field". There aren't anywhere. They aren't even considered monsters anymore. There are XYZ monsters, Like Abyss Dweller, that say "While this card has a material attached that was originally WATER", originally signifying that the material is no longer a monster. its just.. ammo? Does knowing that answer your question for you?
So recently, twice in one match, I top decked The Seventh One. And I couldn't play it because I had a non link in the extra monster zone. I really really hate link format.
I kinda think that you should explain link monsters before you do pendulums for some odd reason as to why is that it makes a little more sense to do so with the pendulum zone move and the introduction of the extra deck Monster zone. I know pendulums came before but, its Better to put it out there to avoid any confusion people might have.
There are actually 2 Onomonopia types you missed, Dododo and Zubaba. Oddly they didn't make a lot of Achacha support (because I guess no one likes the idea of first burning your opponent for 900 and then going right into a rank 3 but whatever) but it can be a fun and good deck to play.
Now all we need is a tuner pendulum monster that's required to make a synchro monster, that when fused with an xyz monster that requires link monsters to summon, does.... Idk. Something. Preferably something memey.
Eric Shin two scales 0-13 place them in the left and right spell and trap zone and you can ss anything with a level in your hands between the scale numbers 0-13 would be 1-12

I mean I didn't really say to play it or not play it. I was just saying that, upon resolution, it is a +1 lol.
Wrath of Mordor cards in your deck doesnt count towards your card economy.

TallFry2 Main deck Kaijus or Master Peace and Drident are going to mess with your normal summon.

Please do pendulums next, don't skip it for a different topic I need to know what the hell this little bastards are and why they keep owning me
Lol I already know how to play and top in locals but somehow Dave got me to watch his video
Lets say if you used us all your xyz materials, would the xyz monster be destroy or treated similar as a normal monster?
why cant I use #95. as a material for Full armor photon dragon when it specifically says on the card "using a galaxy-eyes monster" it dose not specify that it has to be a rank 8 monster
Try reading #95. That will answer your question
Maybe do a video on Unions/Gemini???
