Everyone hating here obviously never listened to Born In The USA all the way through. Even though this wasn't that impressive, Max is a very good drummer who can definitely tear it up if he wants to.

I've seen Bruce live 20X. Two times were solo acoustic shows (Christic Institute benefits at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Holds.. I dunno? 3, 4, 5 thousand maybe? Not exactly sure. Only know it was small and he kicked ass. With Jackson Browne and Bonnie Raitt opening acts. Fucking sweetness and sweetness personified) the other 18 with full ESB.
On 6 of those, I brought friends who had never seen him and in 3 of those it was people who didn't care for Bruce or his music. One dude was into punk. One heavy metal, one old school R&B and Jazz Rock fusion. One liked anything current. Like top 40 shit lol..
The other three were dates (and of course, all hotties. Lol
And not because it was a free Bruce show to them.

Anyway almost to across the board they all agreed it was a unreal tremendous fucking kick ass no prisoners rock show. However, the three guys all mentioned the drummer, who was he? Had he always been in the band etc.
What I guess I'm trying to say (and smoking all the fetty and meth just before typing this didn't help me lol) is that Max is so good that people that had never heard of him were impressed with the man's skills and energy. Also keep in mind that he's doing it all on a relatively simple drum kit. Not some 100 piece Neil Peart (and he's awesome or rather was awesome R.I.P.) or John Bonham, or Keith Moon or Phil Collins or even Nigel Olsen from Elton John's phenomenal 70's back up band, Nigel on drums, deceased Dee Murray on the bass and the superlative guitarist extraordinaire, Davey Johnston (all of whom, except Dee) were with Sir Dick Suck on his recent farewell tour)

@@RickGoodman When doing a very slow snare roll is considered skill, we got a huge problem. Not a thing the guy has done is good drumming. In fact he messes up songs with his drums, "Cover me" could be such an amazing drum song, yet he comes in with the most basic beat. What a waste.
So very basic, but this poster has a massive hard on for anything Bruce.
I guess you can play the drums like max!
