I agree; this was beautiful playing and a great demo. Apart from the price, however, my needs are to layer several sounds so this piano doesn’t work for me. Anyone looking at the Piano 5 should also audition the Yamaha CP88 which I was very impressed with.
Great demonstrations! It really is cool to me just how many Yamaha acoustic pianos that Nord has sampled and put into their piano library, (I could be wrong) but I still don't think they have done a CFX concert piano. I think that should be the next one they do!
Wonderful, I purchased it yesterday and I like the white grand very much. It sounds perfect through headphones but everything sounds awful through my M-Audio BX5. Which monitors can you recommend for this piano ? Thank you
Terry - What a gift - such moving playing ... - However when pressed the Nord 5 loses musicality: and becomes harsh, brash and piercing... Particularly jabbed notes in the treble (with my acoustic piano tuner hat on those hammers would need toning)
You're all over the place:))))))))))).Musical perfection required by a master.Nord can't deliver:)))))))))))))))))).Go sleeeeeeep;). Check this , what's not ''musical'' ? @@spada60 Great glad you like it. Ultimately it comes down to the speakers + amplification, which to be fair can emphasis treble frequencies unevenly [The most popular car is seldom the best...]
I bought this piano after hearing the beautiful piano sound. Well guess what, it doesnt sound as beautiful or crisp as in this video. I have tried to play with every possible setting, used different audio interfaces, cables, headphones etc.. the sound is cheap and muffled. I am so disappointed, at this point this video is just a scam. They probably have super expensive gear to make it sound this way. Dont buy Nord piano you will regret it. You will never get this sound i promise you!
I have been a Nord owner (currently own the Nord Piano 5) for many years and also struggle to get the sound heard in this video - either through my monitors or when recording through an interface. This board CAN sound this good but I just can’t figure out how. I’m like maybe 75% of the way there with tinkering with EQ. Will report back if I make any progress.
@@monroefuchesNever owned a Nord but I’ve played it for gigs and casually at guitar centers and have never been satisfied with their piano sound. It’s just not good enough for me to consider them, not that I could afford a Nord anyway haha.
Beautiful playing and wonderful sound - you certainly have the touch ! ♥️A pleasure to listen - 🕊Thankyou
Solamente un buon pianista può caratterizzare un buon strumento. Complimenti
As always, great play Tony!!!
beautiful demo!! Hope Someone buys me this as a birthday present. Wishes can come true.
Beautiful playing and enjoyed the piano sounds
Beautiful !
I like the velvet and imperial sounds
loving Grand imperial
It's my fav... the White Grand is awesome but it's legit out of tune in the upper registers. Like... the sample is out of tune.
Really helpful video! One question though, did you do any audio compression to the soundtrack of this video?
I can't wait to get this one!

…are you crazy? 🤔 The NP5 can layer more than a CP and certainly more than the most Stagepianos on the market…

Does it have aftertouch?
Wow Elon! Nice playing 🔥
nice work
Very nice 😊

Yamaha H5, KRK rockit 5
I guess 5ers would be to small to get the full range out of it
@@Paris2894 All three of those monitor speakers are poor options. You need to invest in some decent monitors like the Focal Shape series.

Why can't all digital pianos sound this good?
what is the first piece called?
May I ask which piece of music were you playing at 2:20?
Hello, good piano sound but the best touch I have ever known for an electric stage piano is Rhodes
👌🎹Excellent! 👏 👏
Spiel diese Nord Piano Geige?
This what I want to hear from a piano
..taking away the resources of stage 3, but speaking of sounds, usability and playability, what's your impression?! I prefer Nord Piano 5!

You can't be for real. It's realism is why so many professionals use it. Live performers and session musicians. It is the most popular piano for pros

Are you sure you bought a genuine Nord? Also are you using decent studio monitor speakers? M audio are pretty good with a focusright interface.
