I haven't tried Scorched Earth yet since I haven't finished The Island, but my CPU came out in 2018. I have 32GB of RAM and I did upgrade my graphics card a couple of years ago but runs fine on mostly high settings. I just had to unfortunately turn off water and foliage interaction to stop crashes and I run in mid-40s fps. It's playable just fine on single player.
@@BEYPlaysGames there is hope. my dad and younger brother are in the process of upgrading their stuff. so i am able to upgrade my gpu and with a bit of luck my motherboard and processor as well. they are keeping me from playing:P i allready bought an ssd for ASA.
Haha, I do agree! It is still death but definitely doesn't feel as scary when everything looks so bright and pretty XD...Definitely prefer the dark Wyvern trench style more from ASE!
Can you add weather effects comparison? I find the sand storms in ASA so impressive, as you can see them coming from different aspects like building a movie dramatic moment.
Why is the water sometimes brown and sometimes crystal blue, while having around the same depht everytime? Is it changing or static, cuz i dont wanna build near a muddy pond of water.
From what I've seen only a few rivers are actually blue and clear, any rivers to the upper half of the map tend to be blue and clear while any rivers below the bottom half of the map are green ugly and muddy XD I have a base location video up that showcases some of the nicer waters and lakes!
Great game, even though my laptop can barely play it at 60fps. The $25 price that I got it for is not too bad, considering that I got ASE and half of the DLCs for free a while back. And, hey, ASA: Scorched Earth was free instead of costing money. I rarely buy games full price, so...I guess this is a win.
Yeah same, I guess we'll see on Ragnarok, I do hope it looks nothing like the Island style, I kinda hate that everything looks sandy, almost like Scorched Earth 🤣@@JakaW1

Just me that actually prefers a lot of the old style? The washed out colours give an appropriate sense of desolation. The new ruins and caves look better but they didn't put much time into the wyvern nests. Nice comparison though, thanks.
Yeah, kinda the best this game gets too even with a 4080 graphics card XD it does get a tad more framey doing things in slow motion on epic settings though, not quite so choppy in normal speed!
