The reason ark cheating is so bad,duping is bad, mega tribes are bad, and pillar spamming on pve is so bad is because there is thousand's of people selling tames, items, base spots, boss fights, etc for cash on facebook, ebay, and other marketplace sites, thousands maybe millions of dollars is the incentive, the more money people spend on those sites the more cheaters do what they do. The more people on pve will spam land just to keep people from using it because they want to have a monopoly on the digital real estate and assests. casual players will be over shadowed by literal company's. every thing else is a symptom of a problem this is the problem.

Yeah the Obelisk side of that Island can be pretty rough, it is still very rare to see a Rex. The eastern side of the island rarely has hostile spawns though, lots of PT's, Parasaurs etc! You will still run into the same types of hostile creatures in the entire center jungle spawn area if not worse. The best thing about those 2 islands is the easy access to a Pteranodon where you can chose where to live from there.
I just want to say they have a pyromane mod. I know this is not the point of the video. Thank you. I'm actually I'm trying out a server. That has no mods, because my friend. They have a fully modern server. Help us well. I'm not trying out with no monds. I still want the cry upon Moth. That's why I'm not an official. Cause I would play official if they wasn't garbage cryo. Pods on there, but yeah. I just wanted to say to everyone. They have a pyromane mod that free. The only difference is it's not the same pyromane. That 1 will still say you got to pay to unlock it, but it does the same stuff as this one And I just like the look of the o. Ji shadow mane, and this one looks like the shadow main. Mix with the pyromane, and it's probably easier to tame

For the boss arena If your playing modded Arco is a better rex but harder to obtain Deinotherium attack and defense roars do stack with the Yuty Deinosuchus iirc can bleed the bosses and is a slightly weaker rex in terms of stats Vectispinus can buff the spino(+ 25% melee defense and speed) which i believe does stack with the hydrating buff while having its own hydrating buff

@BEYPlaysGames we did all 3 manticore fights For Gamma 1 Deinotherium 3 Acro 1 yuty And 16 rexes By Alpha it was 7 acros 1 yuty 4 Deinotherium And the remaining 8 were rexes It was a very tight squeeze Thankfully we didn't need admin help

I have seen tons of RUclips videos on Ark. this is probably the best one. You covered just about everything. I just started The Center and was trying to do it myself without guides. 5 hours in l was wasting too much time running around aimlessly. Thanks a million, and keep up these exceptional videos.
Only if you have a pretty powerful computer, it's still pretty buggy and not the best in terms of optimisation when compared to ASE but i guess it will improve over time and no it's not, that will be ARK 2 if it ever releases XD

But only works well if you have the chainsaw.. Back when Raasclark did his first ASA The Island playthrough, he found that the best way to farm hide (at that time) was breeding Phiomias and killing the babies with a Therizino.. He tried so many things, but ended up building a pig silo.. 😂 I cant play ASA myself, but back then he found that babies did actually give less hide than adults, but I dunno if that was a bug that has since been fixed, since Bey shows the penguin poly farming on none-adults..
@@MissZume Typically babies don't give much of anything other than prime meat unless the server has boosted rates haha, for example with tamed baby Penguins the Pelagornis gets barely any Poly but if you let them mature to adult and harvest them with the Moschops it's better. I used the Theri too for a hide farm back before Scorched was added...would kill sheep and use the bite attack for hide, would get quite alot but yeah i'm not surprised Raas tried Phiomias, that's the next best thing, easy to raise and Ovis are very difficult to find minus Scorched haha, they are weirdly more common on Scorched XD
That's crazy that it deletes it! I'm surprised it even allows items to be transferred in the first place due to transfers not being open, I only mentioned it for when server transfers do open up but had no idea that would be a thing :(
yep yep. therizino is the best boss dino around. it does almost every boss in teh game. fast torpor drops. high hp and dmg that is 98% scaled of the rex but with the speed attacks of a spino. smaller and more efficient. veggie cake healable. better pathfinding. it does tek cave adn overseer amazing too . coupled by the fact that it can also jack of all trades almost all harvesting when not in fights, its hard to say no to theriziNO
XD I think the Theri is my favourite dino to use for all boss fights, pretty much for the same exact reasons you mentioned! If I ain't got time to tame and breed other tanks the Theri is always my go to :D
@@BEYPlaysGames yeah =) its my day 1 starve tame in a trap. i like to restart on tons of maps official and unofficials and its always the same order. pt- then therizino. then anything else =)
I usually just use cryopods unless I live near to an obelisk! Which is fine for me with cryosickness turned off but if you're playing with cryosickness enabled and don't want to wait you could always use a Quetzal with a platform saddle and build a ramp up to a large flat platform, it can carry creatures up to the size of a Rex that way and you'd probably have to do multiple trips to get them to an obelisk. Supply drops are also an option, if you remember a spot near your base where a supply drop will spawn have all your creatures next to it beforehand and as soon as you see it spawn in grab your boss tributes and stuff, this is how I did my last boss fight because I couldn't be bothered to travel across the map XD. Just got to be mindful of the health on the supply drop as you don't want to have your tributes inside if it despawns!

For some reason the unofficial server I’m playing on doesn’t allow tree sap taps to be placed on the redwoods. No idea why but if anyone reads this comment knows a workaround I’d very much so appreciate a reply. Thanks!
That is very odd!! I have never heard of not being able to attach a tree sap tap to a Redwood tree before :O....I play on a PC unofficial too (rented Nitrado server) haven't changed any base settings and I can place them fine...sorry I can't be of much help :(
The mantas shaped island was suppose to be beginner friendly. My save file was like “Hold my beer” and sent me not one, but TWO Rexs 😂 I had to get my butt out to a little island all the while a Xiph was gnawing on me. Welcome to The Center!
Warning for both of the beginner islands, while relatively safe they both sport a rare ceratosaur spawn. So just be wary and not sprinting around every rock
Yeah to be honest, I'd say the north tropical island is much safer, the southern one can even potentially spawn the odd Rex and Carno around the Obelisk area so it can get a little dangerous XD
This helped so much during my beginnings in the center also quick tip try not to go to the blue obelisk without really good tames, since i saw a allo around there
It is quite amazing.. Kind of like the good old Gas Mask underwater effect in ASE, but with actual colors.. It could very well be the same kind of coding quirks at large..
@BEYPlaysGames I'm on a pve server my friend made through nitrado. I've flown up and down that redwood. I can't tell you how many thyla jumped at me while looking
@@DRawhk I am too, I see loads! Do you do regular dino wipes and stuff? Also, if it's a struggle that much I highly recommend trying the mod 'Der Dino Finder' Shows around 20 or so beehives every time I search for the Queen Bee with that mod!
Yeti can’t be tossed out on Official. You can claim the baby’s yes. But cannot throw them back out. Guess it would be good to put them on the display stand 🙂
@@BEYPlaysGames Just like how Gamma “ use “ to pay out ( 80 )Element . Obviously that was intended, so good ol WC fashion they reverted it back to ( 60 ). Also there is a time delay AFTER beating the bosses on The Center. Game will recognize it 5-8 min after you beat it then you’ll be able to collect.
So they did change the amount of Element that was rewarded? I ran the Alpha boss when the Center released and you'd get the amount of Element killing the bosses off their death cache and the loot crate after giving a bunch more adding up to I think 516 Element which was massive, was going to add it to the video and when I tried again I noticed that the bosses don't drop any anymore and it's all found in 2 loot crates after the fight, kinda annoying they changed it, was nice being rewarded with extra!
Tbh I alwaaaays forget about how good its auto harvest is...i'm too lazy to wait for it a lot of the time, But yeah I left my Theri in the pearl cave inside one of the flower bushes for a day and it had 1.3k flowers 🤣I'll be sure to remember it for next time because it is definitely better, I'm surprised I remembered most of the things I did tbh, barely slept the last few days!
Apologies I must have missed this comment! Apparently they were not spawning as intended, recent patch has fixed the spawns so they should be spawning correctly now!
Regarding #11 and #12: I dont know how it is in ASA, but in ASE, it is possible to find bee hives placed right above the snappoint for Tree platforms.. This means that if you have a Dire bear, you dont *have* to tame a Queen Bee, if you are not up for that, and sap taps can be placed for a 2-for-1 deal.. Place the platform and secure it from hostile creatures, get the bear up there (Cryopod and a temp fridge is a solution) and make sure it has plenty of food in it.. Then, whenever you swing by for getting the sap, you can just ride the bear and whack the hive with the right click attack for 15 Honey.. Sadly I dont think bee hives spawns on top of each other like in ASE's The Center, so its a pretty slow method.. Buuut... Then you dont have to worry about keeping the tamed bee hive alive with rare flowers, because if a bee hive runs out of rare flowers, it will destroy and the bee is lost..
I think it is possible! Most of the time the beehives are below the tree platforms, I just build ramps up to the lower beehives a lot of the time for my bear, not as efficient ofcourse XD
@@BEYPlaysGames yeah most hives are just below or at height with the platform snap points, but it is possible (at least in ASE) to find a few hives above it.. 🤭 But yeah, a ramp works too, in a pinch.. :) I dont really need a bee hive in ASE, cuz the hives are layered as mad as they are.. Just gotta keep swinging that right paw.. Also, GG on making it into the crunch..
@@MissZume Haha yeah definitely, man I love the bear, it's so good and underrated! I use the honey gathering a lot and the Fishing Rod to give it a lifetime spoil timer, I do usually tame a hive or 2 but sometimes I use it all in one go so it's nice to have all the back up honey on the rods ready to go when I need it! @@BEYPlaysGames Bears are amazing! Especially if you have to escape something, due to its speed build up.. It actually took me a long while to find out that bears (and a lot of other things) are aggressive, cuz I always wear Ghillie and Otter.. 😂
I wanted to experiment with putting one enclosed on a redwood platform and setting it on wander. To see if you can grap the taps and the passive collection. Although they are most useful on scorched earth since they gather sap from Joshua Trees

Yeah it's a nightmare, best spots for early game are the two I showed at the start of the video. There's also a nice spot in the shallow part of the ocean at the 21:17 mark

Also mods I’d like to see rope bridges quicksand as a hazard and a craft able base defence or Dino trap you can dig and fill Tarzan swings you can attach to trees and pits you can dig with new shovel and cover with active foliage and add spikes in bottom keep up the great work boss
Also haven't seen any news or dates on the release of Primitive Ascended, they are definitely working hard on it though, keep seeing them posting screenshots of the items and structures that they're working on!
@@drasticbubble1223 yeah especially if you play pvp it’s a must, I get with the first dlcs such as scorched and Abb offering new Dino’s that required payment but you were offered a ton and those who followed arks story especially didn’t mind. 5 bucks for 1 creature. I remembered when scorched dropped and I was so excited to get it, seeing the pyromane is so disappointing understanding it’s the same game
It really sucks that they added the Pyromane, I get that they have to make money but why did they make it so strong, just add cool creatures that add some nice utility or something that isn't OP, I hope it gets nerfed to the ground, it's too early for them to add stupidly overpowered creatures like this.

Btw another tip, taking a breeding pair of Ovis, killling them and using a chainsaw will give you thousands of hide
Yeah it's great, I do try not to use the same tips from other videos though, Ovis are very difficult to find on this map XD
But only works well if you have the chainsaw.. Back when Raasclark did his first ASA The Island playthrough, he found that the best way to farm hide (at that time) was breeding Phiomias and killing the babies with a Therizino.. He tried so many things, but ended up building a pig silo.. 😂
I cant play ASA myself, but back then he found that babies did actually give less hide than adults, but I dunno if that was a bug that has since been fixed, since Bey shows the penguin poly farming on none-adults..
@@MissZume Typically babies don't give much of anything other than prime meat unless the server has boosted rates haha, for example with tamed baby Penguins the Pelagornis gets barely any Poly but if you let them mature to adult and harvest them with the Moschops it's better. I used the Theri too for a hide farm back before Scorched was added...would kill sheep and use the bite attack for hide, would get quite alot but yeah i'm not surprised Raas tried Phiomias, that's the next best thing, easy to raise and Ovis are very difficult to find minus Scorched haha, they are weirdly more common on Scorched XD
BE CAREFUL OF UPLOADING DINOS + ITEMS TO DROPS on official . still haven't allowed transfers on official pvp so any item/dino uploaded will be deleted
That's crazy that it deletes it! I'm surprised it even allows items to be transferred in the first place due to transfers not being open, I only mentioned it for when server transfers do open up but had no idea that would be a thing :(

yep yep. therizino is the best boss dino around. it does almost every boss in teh game. fast torpor drops. high hp and dmg that is 98% scaled of the rex but with the speed attacks of a spino. smaller and more efficient. veggie cake healable. better pathfinding. it does tek cave adn overseer amazing too . coupled by the fact that it can also jack of all trades almost all harvesting when not in fights, its hard to say no to theriziNO
XD I think the Theri is my favourite dino to use for all boss fights, pretty much for the same exact reasons you mentioned! If I ain't got time to tame and breed other tanks the Theri is always my go to :D

What's the best way to get dinos to the obelisk for boss fights? This map seems very challenging to navigate
I usually just use cryopods unless I live near to an obelisk! Which is fine for me with cryosickness turned off but if you're playing with cryosickness enabled and don't want to wait you could always use a Quetzal with a platform saddle and build a ramp up to a large flat platform, it can carry creatures up to the size of a Rex that way and you'd probably have to do multiple trips to get them to an obelisk. Supply drops are also an option, if you remember a spot near your base where a supply drop will spawn have all your creatures next to it beforehand and as soon as you see it spawn in grab your boss tributes and stuff, this is how I did my last boss fight because I couldn't be bothered to travel across the map XD. Just got to be mindful of the health on the supply drop as you don't want to have your tributes inside if it despawns!

For some reason the unofficial server I’m playing on doesn’t allow tree sap taps to be placed on the redwoods. No idea why but if anyone reads this comment knows a workaround I’d very much so appreciate a reply. Thanks!
That is very odd!! I have never heard of not being able to attach a tree sap tap to a Redwood tree before :O....I play on a PC unofficial too (rented Nitrado server) haven't changed any base settings and I can place them fine...sorry I can't be of much help :(
The mantas shaped island was suppose to be beginner friendly. My save file was like “Hold my beer” and sent me not one, but TWO Rexs 😂 I had to get my butt out to a little island all the while a Xiph was gnawing on me. Welcome to The Center!
Yeah it's very hit and miss haha, the horse shoe area is much safer than the Obelisk side at least XD
Warning for both of the beginner islands, while relatively safe they both sport a rare ceratosaur spawn. So just be wary and not sprinting around every rock
Yeah to be honest, I'd say the north tropical island is much safer, the southern one can even potentially spawn the odd Rex and Carno around the Obelisk area so it can get a little dangerous XD

It is quite amazing.. Kind of like the good old Gas Mask underwater effect in ASE, but with actual colors.. It could very well be the same kind of coding quirks at large..

@@DRawhk I am too, I see loads! Do you do regular dino wipes and stuff? Also, if it's a struggle that much I highly recommend trying the mod 'Der Dino Finder' Shows around 20 or so beehives every time I search for the Queen Bee with that mod!

@@BEYPlaysGames Just like how Gamma “ use “ to pay out ( 80 )Element . Obviously that was intended, so good ol WC fashion they reverted it back to ( 60 ). Also there is a time delay AFTER beating the bosses on The Center. Game will recognize it 5-8 min after you beat it then you’ll be able to collect.

So they did change the amount of Element that was rewarded? I ran the Alpha boss when the Center released and you'd get the amount of Element killing the bosses off their death cache and the loot crate after giving a bunch more adding up to I think 516 Element which was massive, was going to add it to the video and when I tried again I noticed that the bosses don't drop any anymore and it's all found in 2 loot crates after the fight, kinda annoying they changed it, was nice being rewarded with extra!

Do not use Therizino tickle attack for rare flowers, dismount and wait 5 seconds for it to auto harvest and get 10x more
Tbh I alwaaaays forget about how good its auto harvest is...i'm too lazy to wait for it a lot of the time, But yeah I left my Theri in the pearl cave inside one of the flower bushes for a day and it had 1.3k flowers 🤣I'll be sure to remember it for next time because it is definitely better, I'm surprised I remembered most of the things I did tbh, barely slept the last few days!

For the Center, that smaller island with a big rock near Skull island is an ideal base location, its completely desolate
It's one of my favourite locations to build, can't beat being right next to Skull Island, there's a few nice spots around there!

Regarding #11 and #12:
I dont know how it is in ASA, but in ASE, it is possible to find bee hives placed right above the snappoint for Tree platforms..
This means that if you have a Dire bear, you dont *have* to tame a Queen Bee, if you are not up for that, and sap taps can be placed for a 2-for-1 deal..
Place the platform and secure it from hostile creatures, get the bear up there (Cryopod and a temp fridge is a solution) and make sure it has plenty of food in it..
Then, whenever you swing by for getting the sap, you can just ride the bear and whack the hive with the right click attack for 15 Honey..
Sadly I dont think bee hives spawns on top of each other like in ASE's The Center, so its a pretty slow method..
Buuut... Then you dont have to worry about keeping the tamed bee hive alive with rare flowers, because if a bee hive runs out of rare flowers, it will destroy and the bee is lost..
I think it is possible! Most of the time the beehives are below the tree platforms, I just build ramps up to the lower beehives a lot of the time for my bear, not as efficient ofcourse XD
@@BEYPlaysGames yeah most hives are just below or at height with the platform snap points, but it is possible (at least in ASE) to find a few hives above it.. 🤭 But yeah, a ramp works too, in a pinch.. :)
I dont really need a bee hive in ASE, cuz the hives are layered as mad as they are.. Just gotta keep swinging that right paw..

I use the honey gathering a lot and the Fishing Rod to give it a lifetime spoil timer, I do usually tame a hive or 2 but sometimes I use it all in one go so it's nice to have all the back up honey on the rods ready to go when I need it! @@BEYPlaysGames Bears are amazing! Especially if you have to escape something, due to its speed build up.. It actually took me a long while to find out that bears (and a lot of other things) are aggressive, cuz I always wear Ghillie and Otter.. 😂

If you tame an Archaeopteryx, if you put them on wander or put something in them, they do produce sap. I don’t remember the specifics.
They suck in ASA btw, tried it a few times, barely produce any and usually end up dying all the time 🤣
I wanted to experiment with putting one enclosed on a redwood platform and setting it on wander. To see if you can grap the taps and the passive collection. Although they are most useful on scorched earth since they gather sap from Joshua Trees

Oil a lot harder to get as there are no oil nodes in rivers only in deep sea or under around ice island

@@drasticbubble1223 yeah especially if you play pvp it’s a must, I get with the first dlcs such as scorched and Abb offering new Dino’s that required payment but you were offered a ton and those who followed arks story especially didn’t mind. 5 bucks for 1 creature. I remembered when scorched dropped and I was so excited to get it, seeing the pyromane is so disappointing understanding it’s the same game
It really sucks that they added the Pyromane, I get that they have to make money but why did they make it so strong, just add cool creatures that add some nice utility or something that isn't OP, I hope it gets nerfed to the ground, it's too early for them to add stupidly overpowered creatures like this.
