I'm a 59 years old doctor, a gynaecologist in private practice. My visa was refused on 18 th April this year. I was to go for a friends daughter's wedding in June. My income, property papers, partnership deed of the hospital with my husband ITRs of three years, rental that I get, money transferred in my account by my husband, CA certificate of my movable and immovable assets was attached. I have been to England twice for training and conference. I have been to Europe twice. I HV valid US visa. I visited USA and Canada in 2013. I HV a long travel history. I had attached the invitation from my. Friend, her bank statements. Everything was there. I was going alone with my husband back home in India.
UK is not a v good place for doctors to settle moreover I was almost 60 years. Why would I run away and settle in UK? Had I to move then that would have been 35 years back nd not now. When I have a cook, helper, cleaner gardener, driver here. Why would I go?
They have gone crazy. Their economy is shattered , they want people to re apply and earn money out of it.
This was very sad and very stupid on their part.
We totally understand how frustrating it is when after submitting all the documents visa get refused

My friend’s visa got rejected due to missing bank statement having monthly salary and doubting his economic ties with country.

Next time there will but strict check but nothing to worry about if you provide sufficient documents next time then you will get visa. Because of extra checks you might see some delay in decision next time
