I'm a Texas girl living in NC. Too far for me to go back home so I snagged me a bottle at $169.99. Thankful to get my hands on it and to enjoy a taste of Texas. Now if I can get Garrison Brothers to send me a sample of Lady Bird. ❤

Nice review man! I tried a single barrel from them that was only 3 yrs old and it tasted really young to me. This sounds like a really interesting pour tho, if I see it out somewhere I'll be tempted to try it after hearing your review. Cheers brother
I was able to snag a bottle this weekend in Hye, Tx at the release. Your review is spot on! This is an amazing bottle.
It's ironic you're reviewing this now; a couple weeks ago when I asked for sample swap to get some Garrison, someone from our discord sent me a mostly-full bottle of their regular small batch just to get it out of their house. So it's a love-hate for a lot of folks. I like the standard bottle I got, but it has a raw crescent roll note that's odd. And even that bottle is pricey.
Hopefully you're keeping that sample bottle as a memento. It's pretty sweet.
Got to visit the distillery and do some work for them . The small batch is a love hate relationship with me , single barrel is pretty good , Guadalupe is unique with the finish and the ladybird makes you want to go back to it . Been trying to find a cowboy bourbon for a while now. I’m based in NYC and the resell for the cowboy bourbon depending on some stores is already between 350-900 bucks already. If I’m able to find good bourbon that I like and for MSRP I’m picking it up .
I was going to get the 2023 at 140.9 Proof, but got a pretty good deal on the 2022 at 134.8 Proof, so I pulled the trigger. 🥃
