Is there a way to have XM radio on Malibus that don't have it from the factory and without having to use Carplay? Is there a GM kit to enable XM radio?
I have a 2023 malibu and im unable to connect my android. Ive reset my phone, reset to factory, checked for updates on both my phone and the car's software and even tried connecting my iphone. NONE of these steps would connect! Any suggestions?
Try disconnecting and then reconnecting it. If that doesn’t work try plugging it in via a cord and see if it does it still. If it still does it, take it to a Chevrolet Dealer to diagnose the problem and then fix it. Let me know if that helps.
It is not designed to do that from the stock unit. There are aftermarket programs that will allow you to do that but becareful as it may void your warranty.

I click add new phone and it does not progress to the next step. And there is no where to set up Bluetooth in setting. Please help!

Your car and or phone may not be compatible. I would check both to make sure either has it.

How do I see my CarPlay map (split screen) while FM/SiriusXm?
It is not possible via the stock unit. You will have to go back and forth between the two.

Do you get to the MyChevrolet screen? If so look on your Bluetooth section of your phone for MyChevrolet and select that.

I have to uninstall and reinstall every time I get in the car. My phone says I have to forget phone, than I have to reinstall . Am I missing something
Try removing both. So on the infotainment system forget the phone then remove any connection of your car off your phone.
When I try to play music it plays through my phone speaker instead of my car speaker

I have a 19 Malibu, I’ve done all the steps you showed and didn’t work, do I need a firmware update? Will the dealer do this for free?
@@kyledrakeusa no the 2019 Malibu doesn’t have wireless Apple CarPlay. You have to plug in for the 2019’s
under “other devices” on my iphone “myChevrolet” does not pop up i don’t know any other way to connect

If you have it equipped on your car, it would be a plug-in and not wireless. They did not have wireless Apple CarPlay in 2020 on the Malibu.
