You write and sing one beautiful song after another, Ky. This piece is heart-rending, especially to us who were separated from our fathers at a young age and terribly miss him.
My dad is an alcoholic. This song gave me the courage to tell him he needs help. If he doesn't get help, I'm prepared to say goodbye. I'm not going to let my brother get bullied by him like I did.

Nice job Ky. This song makes me think of my dad because my dad was a great dad when my brothers and I were little but when we got older he started drinking and smoking a lot and he left his family and I barely ever see him anymore I am lucky if I see him 5 to 6 times a year. I miss him horribly and this song actually helps me. So thank you for this song
I'm sorry to hear that. Adults have alot of issues - what's important is that you don't let their issues become your issues. We get to be a new slate and don't need to take on our parents problems.
