I think to make the sailor character make sense, he could be from Korea, and had to serve in the military/navy for a short time before he moved to the America's. The make up for his beefy build and the scars on him!
A few ideas to think abt: Father Simone might not really believe in god, but is fascinated by humans ideas of religion and human culture (he might’ve been around the world idk) Also, he might be intrigued about the idea of death since he prolly been around for a while has seen humans die and how it affects them. Sailor is def my fav!! Just found out abt your vids and I love them!!💙
pepper's design is so cute 😭😭😭 i love it so much!!! the clown sweater is just chefs kiss and gives her such vibes... i also really like the distinct colour schemes, they make them all look sooooo cool together and i LOVE that also... i imagine all of the group being from different times would make some kind of culture corners for themselves like,,,, if they travel to the xix century, emmett becomes their fashionista and they go on some kind of styling rampage 🌝🌝 or jane and margo dragging all of the characters from more historical times to taco bell or like,,, pitbull concerts and giving all of them a culture shock

Ok so i started binging this series and I have ideas: Margot(Margo?) being ace or Demisexual is queen shit, we love to see it! After the first video I was leaning towards "what if she was sapphic?" But hell yeah asexuality!! You mentioned that Emmett thought he was in love with Margo(t) when they first bumped into one another. But what if it was that Emmett was about to walk into danger and margot saved him? Like she hauls his ass out of harm's way, and he's infatuated with her strength. But the caretakers actually wanted Emmett to die in that accident and that's why father Simone is sent to "take care" of margot. Also bonus points if there's a parallel in how Emmett and sailor meet to how Emmett and margot met. And if Jane's the one to point it out later on. Hehehehe Actually speaking of Sailor, you mentioning he was from the 1940s had me thinking about the "immigration camps" that a lot of Japanese immigrants were basically imprisoned in. What if Sailor grew up in one of those, but escaped as a teenager. So as he's technically an illegal immigrant, he joins a mob/mafia bc he can't get any official/good jobs. plus it adds to that quiet, almost jaded facade he kind of has. But once the trio gets to know him, as he's throughly involved in their mission(whatever it may be), he slowly reveals his more "teddy bear-like" personality. I dunno it just kinda came to me. Also I think he's a really good cook.

I would love for "him" to have a Michael-like redemption arc, like he learns what it is to be human and helps the humans, they could even give him a name when they're friends!

i’m almost a year late but the changing art styles for different time periods is soo fun! i feel like Jane’s time in the 2000s could have an artsyle 6teen and other animated shows of the time, Sailor’s time in the 1940s could be like film noir, etc

Okay but hear me out….. Pepper and Sailor adopting Edward and form a found family ala SpyxFamily and he just wants a family since maybe he’s an orphan/ bio family kicked him out. Forgot to write this but this video was so inspiring and my fav character is pepper cuz she’s so cute!!!
ok my idea for the take care of margo thing would be maybe the critter (the ghost guy thing) has decided to watch over margo specifically, like instead of a teacher a tutor- instead of teaching 25 something kids, a tutor teaches 1. so like the critter focuses on margo, watching her every move and decision- snapping her back into place by causing small disruptions in her plans. say, margo wanted to go get coffee, but the critter doesn’t want her to for some reason. so, the critter somehow makes it so the bus leaves right before margo can get there. the critter wouldn’t be able to cause anything huge, like hurting people or something. but they might do small things like taking forks, switching one of every shoe in a pair to a size smaller, closing doors right in front of margo. simple tiny stuff like that, just not too noticeable.
This whole universe is making me want to make one of the Caretaker fellas- i dunno, this whole universe is just so cool and has infinite potential 😭 /pos (ps, can other people make characters in this universe? Like- as long as it doesn't get in the way of the story itself)

Ok so this is an idea or just the story I started to create when you mentioned “the thing” and how he “takes care” of Margo. What I came up with is that when the 3 musketeers found him or something they were suspicious of him or something because he kept doing weird stuff and saying weird thing that just didn’t make sense (idk not entirely sure on that part) BUT he feels as though his being/soldiers creature is greater than humans and feels as though the job he has is stupid. “The thing” has created trouble for the three musketeers. (insert blank) later when they win or something margo went on a rant or gave a big main character speech to him and made the creature think about things differently. When she did that margo and the musketeers left and went on exploring or whatever and “the thing”started following them, mainly margo because he finds her interesting. Bla bla bla he starts to get feelings for her and he obviously doesn’t know human emotions and is even more curious. I let you do the rest on your own or if you don’t like it it’s ok I just also like romance and that was literally the first thing that went to my head when you started to describe him. Also you should totally make this a web toon like I want to read this story sooooo freaking bad! Edit: if you do put them in a relationship I feel as though they would so awkward around each other because they are awkward children . Also I feel as though when we get to know “the thing” his personality would be more shy and awkward around people or just a little bit uncomfortable around them.

I really love those chaotic stories, group/friendship dynamics and some "whacky" characters, like Ed and Meme (I'm already claiming them as my favorites). I love naming my characters sm its honestly one of my favorite parts of character design. Some of the names I have are: Kate Ahbamay, Hendrik Müller, Jackson Schnepf, uhhhh who else. Sam Jefferson and Elijah McCain (my token Americans). But naming charcters is so much fun :3
My first thought at 6:00 was0 "He's just... Him." That sounds incredibly ominous to me, which ties into the whole "Take care" of Margot comment lol- I imagine he's meant to rid her of time travel to keep from messing with the timelines-

The idea you said about the artstyle changing every time they travel to a different time period, it sounds so cool! It would definitely be an interesting concept to do as well

Ok so this is an idea or just the story I started to create when you mentioned “the thing” and how he “takes care” of Margo. What I came up with is that when the 3 musketeers found him or something they were suspicious of him or something because he kept doing weird stuff and saying weird thing that just didn’t make sense (idk not entirely sure on that part) BUT he feels as though his being/soldiers creature is greater than humans and feels as though the job he has is stupid. “The thing” has created trouble for the three musketeers. (insert blank) later when they win or something margo went on a rant or gave a big main character speech to him and made the creature think about things differently. When she did that margo and the musketeers left and went on exploring or whatever and “the thing”started following them, mainly margo because he finds her interesting. Bla bla bla he starts to get feelings for her and he obviously doesn’t know human emotions and is even more curious. I let you do the rest on your own or if you don’t like it it’s ok I just also like romance and that was literally the first thing that went to my head when you started to describe him. Also you should totally make this a web toon like I want to read this story sooooo freaking bad!
Edit: if you do put them in a relationship I feel as though they would so awkward around each other because they are awkward children . Also I feel as though when we get to know “the thing” his personality would be more shy and awkward around people or just a little bit uncomfortable around them.

I love naming my characters sm its honestly one of my favorite parts of character design. Some of the names I have are: Kate Ahbamay, Hendrik Müller, Jackson Schnepf, uhhhh who else. Sam Jefferson and Elijah McCain (my token Americans). But naming charcters is so much fun :3

I really want more lore, backstory, and his relationship with the other characters!
