As promised, here are the current (as of 4/12/24) average price points for homes sold in these 10 Meridian communities over the past 3 months: Paramount: $694,166 Pinnacle: $693,049 Bridgetower: $766,433 Spurwing (all of the Spurwings communities combined): $1,102,398 (with the highest being $2,450,000 and the lowest being $636,263) Tuscany (all of the Tuscany communities combined): $643,749 Sky Mesa: $814,418 Skybreak: $893,041 Bainbridge: $604,099 Fall Creek: $539,500 Quartet: $740,944
Good question. If you look up the area around Meridian Middle School on one of the various crime maps, such as crimegrade.org/ - you will see that the area is "orange" (meaning - according to crimegrade.org - it currently gets a 'D' rating) .That all said, on the same map, just across the way (so across Fairview Ave or Linder Road) those areas get 'A's. So there definitely are desirable areas that many people love within close proximity to Meridian Middle.
All of these neighborhoods are nice, but I question the addition of Quartet - it’s small, expensive, doesn’t have any specific amenities you mentioned in other neighborhoods, and it STINKS. People should know they WILL smell the water treatment plant on Ten Mile. I don’t know if you get a bigger commission as an agent for selling in Quartet but there are for more nicer neighborhoods than that one. Also, the word is especially not expecially.
Interesting comment…. A lot of people love Quartet - and no, I am by no means being paid by Quartet to feature it (or by any of its builders). We just have a lot of clients who reach out to us who interested in it. And thanks so much for the help with my pronunciation… I was in speech therapy until I was in 8th grade - and well, if I have some lingering issues that irk ya, so be it.🤷♀️😂
Do yourself a favor, come visit the area first and see the overcrowded streets, which leads to gridlock, way overpriced housing, overhyped, if you like California, you might like Meridian.
Definitely agree that EVERYONE should come and visit in-person prior to buying a home here - but I disagree that it’s like California. Thank you for watching & commenting!🙂
@cwalton56 I can totally understand that! The growth you’ve likely experienced is insane and just flat-out hard! Heck, we moved here almost 20 years ago - and I’m flabbergasted by the changes we’ve seen.
@@Livinginboiseidaho-candid So you are flabbergasted by the changes and you are encouraging more people to move here, it just shows you that "realtors " will sell out quality of life for money.
Helping people (whether they are native Idahoans or people looking/needing a new chapter in their life) is why we work in real estate. And yes, it is my family’s livelihood, so the fact that we can what we love and it helps provide for our kids, well, yes we we love that. And yes, of course, just like there are skeezy, money-hungry doctors, lawyers and restaurateurs out there - there are also some wonderful ones who have honest intentions and values. The real estate industry is no different.
Oh my gosh, I found myself driving around in that upper crust Spurwing neighborhood one day. I cannot imagine the mentality of the arrogant "normie" thugs that live there.
Not entirely sure what you mean by that - Spurwing spans a HUGE area (and it really consists of about 10 to 12+ DIFFERENT communities (I’ve honestly lost count). It’s a pretty lovely area (with hundreds of wonderful homes)…. So I guess, I’m a bit perplexed by your comment, as it isn’t AT ALL reflective of my experience there. But let me know. 🙂
@shelleyhowell86 No worries, Spurwing (as a whole) is actually made up of 10+ communities - across all different price points. Granted, the current starting point is around $500k and then it goes up… but well - for some, it’s a great fit! And then for others, if it isn’t - well, it just isn’t, and that’s a-okay too, right?!🙂
@shelleyhowell86 It is a bit nuts right? I only have a family of four (so not a huge family by any means) and I can’t leave the grocery store without spending over $200!

Great video. We’re in Calistoga but this was really informative
Thanks for watching & commenting! Calistoga is another fantastic Meridian neighborhood! Good choice.
We're here in Calistoga too. Big beautiful homes. It's really nice and super conveniently placed as it's adjacent / connected to Sky Mesa.
@ubiquityxx Thanks for the comment! I’m glad that you were enjoying Calistoga. It’s a great community!
Really great video!!!

Is the area near Meridian middle school consider a bad neighborhood so like a D neighborhood?

Seems every neighborhood, has a HOA, I won’t buy a house with a HOA
You’re not alone. We’ve worked with a number of clients who have ZERO interest in having an HOA.

Some nasty, jealous comments here. There is nothing wrong with nice neighborhoods

@@Livinginboiseidaho-candid this opinion is from someone born and raised here, the quality of life here has dramatically decreased

Meridian/Eagle are the most overpopulated, overpriced and pretentious areas in the state.
Interesting… have you seen Coeur d'Alene’s market (just asking🤷♀️)…
I DO NOT want to live in Meridian.
No? Why not?
