In the latest weekly development report dated June 21, 2024, significant advancements have been made across various technological sectors within the Cardano ecosystem. The ledger team has successfully implemented CIP-0069, enhancing the PlutusV3 functionality by allowing optional spending datums and requiring scripts to have a single argument, which broadens the use of spending scripts, including for minting purposes.
Key bug fixes include the correction of script execution for certificates and prevention of delegation to non-existent pools. The Lace team is preparing for the release of version 1.13, promising new features and critical bug resolutions, details of which will soon be available on the Lace blog.
The Plutus team introduced version 1.30.0.0 of the Plutus libraries, which includes a new Value type backed by Data and a refactored ledger API under CIP-0122. The Mithril team has focused on enhancing the certification of Cardano transactions, implementing a warm-up strategy for the signer and aggregator and addressing bottlenecks in database access to improve throughput significantly.
On the community and governance front, the latest Intersect update has introduced improvements in member experience and the voting for interim constitutional committee seats has commenced. Project Catalyst's Fund12 has concluded its community moderation phase, with voting set to start on June 27.
Education efforts continue with the preparation of the next month's Cardano Developer course and the ongoing development of 'Mastering Cardano'. As these developments unfold, the Cardano community is poised for further growth and innovation.
