    Hello, I know your videos are around 4 years old now. I still watch them. I have a Ford 555 Tractor Backhoe. I'm not sure what year it is.
    It has some leaks going on. My machine starts everytime and runs well. I want to do some work on it, but afraid to for the fact that I'm not mechanically inclined. Since it runs I just maintain as best as I can. I think eventually I would need to do some of the cleaning on it like your video is showing.

      If it’s running I’d just keep up with the routine maintenance and count my blessings. Thanks

    LITTLE KNOWN FACT ABOUT THAT MOTOR...IF YOU SHAVE THE HEAD A FEW THOUSANDS THE HEADBOLTS WILL BOTTOM OUT .THEN YOU HAVE TO INSTALL AN EXTRA WASHER

      @@mytaborcityhome1002 I have a 65 .they might have fixed the problem when they went to the bigger head bolts...check anyhow. The only way to find out is by having the manual, but who knows how many times the head has been shaved

    I didn't see you take the copper washer out. How did you remove it ?

      The copper washers stuck to the injectors and came out when i removed the injector. then i just took a small pick and pulled them off.

    Hi, .nice vidio. I pulled and cleaned my nozzles. However, after replacing, I have no compression. New copper washers used. Weird thing though....when I first pulled them there were plastic- like inserts with the old washers. You didnt use them. Hmmm. Is this where the air is escaping???

    • @mytaborcityhome1002
      @mytaborcityhome1002  3 года назад

      Yeah, I didn't have any plastic inserts. I'd put some dish soap in a spray bottle and try turning it over while spraying the fluid to see if it made any bubbles. If it makes bubbles at the copper washer then you know where the issue is.

      The fuel injectors being on top of the motor, if you are leaking air at the base of them as long as you have the hood off and a direct line of sight on the injectors you should see it.

      I check the fuel filter, then the intake from the fuel tank to the filter and then if both of those are in good order I'd assume its you fuel pump.

    Hello. What is the injector pressure?

    • @mytaborcityhome1002
      @mytaborcityhome1002  4 года назад

      According to the maintenance manual the nozzle opening pressure is 2850 psi or 197 bars. Hope that helps.
