For those who don't know, the "bubblegum" they were chewing is cud. Several farm animals eat very quickly, then, when they're relaxing, burp it back up and chew it thoroughly.
Yeah, ruminants like goats and cows have a special stomach like chamber that allows them to digest cellulose through fermentation. They swallow food fast so they aren't vulnerable for too long. They regurgitate this food later as cud to chew it up better and break it down into small pieces. Then it goes back to the rumen chamber, where microbes can ferment and fully break it down into useable nutrients for digestion. This is what lets ruminants digest grass while animals with normal stomachs can't.

I worked on a farm and we hosted goat yoga. This had me reminiscing on those precious days. Got to meet so many great people and change many lives. Animals are power for the soul.
As someone who owns a herd of pigmy goats (23 to be exact) I can tell you with 100% certainty that they are truly the best!!! They are so fun to watch and they really do become part of the family. If you have never seen fainting goats faint before in real life, you are missing out! Their little legs just lock up and they just fall over like a paperweight and after a couple seconds they jump up and shake their head and just carry on like nothing happened! 😂
I get up on a farm and we had a single pet goat, her name was Josefine, and she ran around with our cows and if we went outside she would sneak under the fence and come hopping towards us, wanting food and attention. She cuddled with our dog and ate the trim of the clothes hanging out to dry... Gosh I miss her sometimes
I got a bunch of goats. They truly are like dogs with their own unique personalities and intelligence levels. They've all just become pets to me at this point. I raised them for 4-H. We had one lamacha whether named Luke. He was a escape artist and could get out of the smallest of holes despite his size. Although he was super smart getting out, he was equally as stupid getting his head stuck in the cattle panels. We eventual had to cut a bit of his horn off the get him out once. Idk why we didn't cut the fence but I wasn't in charge back then. After that we sold him at the sale barn. I deeply regret selling him because he most likely wasn't someones new pet when they bought him. I miss him

I actually had my own goat my senior year that I personally owned. From my experience, goats are just really weird dogs. The behavior of dogs and goats are so similar, it honestly felt like I was raising dogs.
