Say my name, Cap! I was the first one to do the Hera pistol. lol. Yours looks great in orange! We share a love for the Gear Up series, I see. Keep up the good work!
Hey Cap, instead of a rev trigger guard, it would be cool if you did some sort of switch on the back of the grip that gets pressed when you hold the grip allowing you to rev, WAY more complicated than it needs to be but I just thought of that idea and thought it was cool. Also what's your opinion on Luchathor's insane rainbow sniper pistol?
I don’t think it’s to complicated, you could just mount the switch backwards, make a small spot in the grip and make an epoxy mold to house the switch and to hold the button in place
If you wanna go full bugnuts, why not put in that nfc tag safety lock idea that real steel devs (I think the Metal Storm guys?) had kicking around? Sensor in the grip or wherever would fit/be effectual, and a keyed tag in a ring or sewn into gloves. Acts like an electronic safety.
Stock RIVAL motors actually have pretty hefty stall currents (Zeus motors were calculated as about twenty amps on 3S for each motor), but I still wouldn't really mind running that through even a 10A submini switch. Switches are surprisingly resilient, I'm sure it'll last you as long as you use it to be honest. Also liking the look of running orange as the primary color over black on some of your personal RIVAL blasters, mixing it up a bit.
You could mount this bad boy on the bottom of another blaster. On the holster just cut out a piece of fabric from it that's pushing on the button and stitch fabric around the edges to keep it from unraveling!
You know what blows my mind? The fact that your goodwill runs have more views than ALL of the other mods, reviews, etc, INCLUDING your minigun. How does that work?! Also, congrats to the bonus round winner, whoever that was. I had the right answer, but not the right timing. Sadness. Oh well. Also, that Hera pistol is sweet! Came out really well!
Yeah, my Goodwill videos are the most popular and the most requested (no idea why) but also the most hated. Apparently shopping a Goodwill once every 2 or 3 months makes me "despicable" because I am "stealing toys from poor children." *shrugs
Captain Xavier Who says that? Lol. That doesn’t make a lot of sense.... I mean, I kind of get where they are coming from, but at the same time, you have just as much of a right to them as the kids...
@@brentpynenberg6847 no because of the pusher mech that the dart blasters have to input the number of darts for one trigger press. Especially for blasters like the nemesis where it a different feeding mechanism. It's just not possible

Of course, I haven't put that many rounds through it yet... ...also, are there upgrade Rival motors that won't shred your balls?

Like would it be feasible to put the barbell guiding section on the top of the Hammershot, have a hinge similar to the tribreak and have it happen prime, or would it just shoot like 2m away and never be useful in any circumstances

I've contacted buzzbee customer support but they are of course no longer in production. Any suggestions for how to get a replacement plunger rod? Or just another sentinel to use as spare parts? Got no money, so i cant just buy another sentinel.
Hey Captain. I rewired my Hera recently like a stryfe, like you mentioned in this video, and I took out all the electronics and just directly wired it to the rev switch and battery pack. But when I'm pointing it directly up or down (±90º), it either won't rev up or it cuts off if I have it reving and I have to shoot directly up or down from above. Would you know why this would happen or does this happen to you? Is there a mechanical/gravity lock that I missed? I have kept the original wiring because I'm just going to use the Rival rechargeable pack. It does fine when the firing angle does not exceed ±75°. Any thoughts and assistance will be appreciated. Thank you Sir.
Oh? Something in the switch can be affected by the firing angle to make it short out? I'll double check all the soldering joints and make sure they're all secured. After the wires check out (with or w/o resoldering and/or replacing them), which micro switch will fit in the original switch cavity w/o dremeling the cavity?
Hey Captain, I wanted to update you about my Hera and thanks again for helping me troubleshoot it. For some reason, the rechargeable Nerf pack is not tall enough for the battery door to hold it down in the compartment even when I have the locking screw on the battery door all the way in to its max threading. This caused the pack to lose contact from the battery leads when I'm shooting up or down (±90°). I compared the pack's height to that of the stock battery holder, side-by-side, and they were the same. If other Nerfers out there are experiencing this glitch, here's how I fixed it without soldering or upgrading to LiPos, tape down a piece of foam core board (or any cardboard that's at least 1/8"-5/8" thick) in the underside of the battery door so it can push down on the Nerf Rechargeable pack and keep it from moving away from battery lead contact points in the battery compartment, or you can carefully pull on the spring of the lead contact points to extend them because they may have been compressed too much since the stock battery tray has to be stored in the compartment prior to being purchased and opened. Which ever solution you choose, as always, take out the rechargeable pack (especially) or the battery holders (and its batteries out of the holder) out of the blaster each and every time it is put away until the next battle to avoid battery acid corrosion and maladjusted spring compression. Thanks again Captain.
Open it up, remove all the internals, lightly sand it, prime with vinyl dye, let cure 24hrs, tape off and do several light coats of primary color. Good paint jobs take time and materials. You cannot rush it and you cannot use cheap materials.
Hello Captain Xavier, I come to you requesting some help! For the unique intro for videos like this, I'd suggest the camera cut to you wrenching on the blaster with some sort of tool, then you using the tool to hit the camera, kind of like when you through that handful of darts at it in your unboxing intro.
