Whitney's Easy Fruit Pizza | Fast and Simple dessert that is guaranteed to catch your eye!

- Whitney introduced me to these. Her mother made them for her growing up and they are a summer staple at picnics and parties for us. You can make these on individual cookies, but we love them on the big pizza pan cookies! Watch Whitney break it down into simple steps, and hear a little about our lives!
2 rolls of sugar cookie dough (or make your own, enough to cover a pizza pan 1/4" thick)
Fruit of choice: We used strawberry, banana, blueberry, and kiwi.
Icing recipe:
3 Tbsp butter
8 oz cream cheese
1 1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 Tsp Vanilla
Cook cookie dough according to manufacturer directions. If making on pizza pan, you may need to add a couple minutes. Let cool. Add icing enough to cover cookie, arrange fruit into desired shape or design!

The pizza cutter often pushes the fruit around so we’ve found it’s easier to use a knife!
I tried this recipe with my grandsons rhey absolutely loved it. We’ve made it 3 times snd each it flys off.

So fun to see Whitney join in on the cooking show! Zach, here's a tip for removing the Kiwi skin. After cutting the ends off, take a regular spoon (I use a tablespoon) & place it in between the skin & the flesh of the Kiwi. While holding the Kiwi, move the spoon around it & the skin will come off. Super easy & less mess 😊

If you make the crust you can just use the wrapper from the butter to grease the pan.

Is there anything you can substitute the cookie dough for? So sadly, I have a food intolerance to cookies and cookie dough, I get really sick when I eat it.

Have you tried taking the slices and put them in a mini muffin tin. Bake them push the middle down and fill with the frosting and decorate the tops with the fruit to each one.

How do you keep the bananas from browning? Lemon juice?
We just don’t put them on until the day we are serving and use barely ripe bananas, but I’ve seen several people mention lemon juice! I’ll have to try!
You know what would be nice to finish it off drizzle some Chocolate over it .

The first time I ever had one of these was for my birthday years ago, my mom made one for me instead of a cake, only hers had a glaze on it. Years later I made one and I used kiwis, strawberries, bananas, pineapples, and mandarin oranges. Thank you so much for the memories. This makes me want to make another one. Oh, and I think on the one I made, I used yogurt. Yours was absolutely beautiful.

You don’t need the butter & should use 2 cream cheese at room temperature, 1 cup sugar or 1/2 cup granulated or powdered sugar per package of cream cheese. NO BUTTER necessary in this recipe, ever. Then 1 tsp of vanilla or 1/2tsp if using 1 pack of cream cheese. Don’t put icing on til the cookie is completely cooled off.
But I like butter 😂

You can use any flavor cake mix! To make the crust. Just add to cake mix 1 egg and a melted stick of butter!

We don’t put banana on unless serving that day! But even if banana browns on leftovers it tastes just as good!

That’s the very first thing I noticed was her walking out of sonic with that big smile and it made me so happy every time I saw her… the more I was around her the happier it made me and I knew I couldn’t live without her!!!
You two are so cute together! You can just see the love between you❤. I haven't made that in years. My recipe calls for a lime glaze which is good but you just use a little bit so as not to over power the fruit.
