H5, as it has a suspension system. Not sure a deadcat would be enough though. You should probably tape the dead cat on the bottom or get a really long one. Buy the densest and longest dead cat can find and hope for the best. Ideally the whole device should be covered in such a circumstance, but as I said, I don't know if such a dead cat actually exists.
If it's the older H4n, without the Pro, then yes, the H5 produces better sound. If it's specifically the H4n Pro, then no, the H5 and H4n Pro basically sound the same. The advantage of the H5 is that you can get different capsules. The H5 would sound better if you get the H5 with the SGH-6 capsule, as that will capture sound more directionally. The built-in mics on the H4n Pro capture more of the room.

I am a filmaker and I am interested in H6 after watching this video but I need to ask, can I use lav mics only in the 3.5mm mini jack input? What if I need for example to use 4 lav mics at the same time in a shooting? And what kind of headphones do you use to better monitoring these recorders, with low impedance such as 32 Ohm, or with middle impedance of 80 Ohm? Thank you!
