I like the fact that this VST does not contain to much effects to most of the presets this allows for a real dry flat sound that you can add effects later on in the production of the mix.
To many soft synths today bundle to much reverb and chorus effects to there presets and samples hence this can fool you a little when adding in effects later on.

Yes, but personally , I am not really impressed. Some bass sounds are great and they are legendary. Also some pads, etc. But I listen to 30 sounds to find 1 that is really nice. A few thousand sounds that are not useful for my type of music. I would come back to Roland for some bass sounds, some Juno synths, pads :) Many presets sounded thin, not fullness - i guess they are useful in songs too. Not everything has to be central and impressive, some sounds just play left or right, more quiet and intentionally thin - i know.

@@pacificbase At least these patches you selected sound great, some familiar famous sounds there with the keys specially. Regarding the bass, I prefer Diva's basses

@@HumanBeingWithFeelings if i save 40 presets to favourites, then i find directly what is gold. Still have more than 1 thousand presets to check and probably make another 50 best. I wish it was less work of selection... :)

KORG PA4X OR 5 X HAS EVERYTHING YOU EVER NEED - don't get fulled by the name "arranger" . Also they are amazing for composing songs fast, not to mention you can play in a restaurant somewhere

Really nice sound I want to try it, I take the liberty of recommending the Cherry Audio series of vsti if you don't already know them they have a vintage sound very similar to this emulate very well in my opinion, I appreciate the video really useful thanks! 👍🏻🙂

you are a bit too biased in chosing sounds, try mixing it up; theres hardly any variety in choice

if you listen to 5 or 10 vsti that i made demos- there are hundreds of sounds to make many types of music. I use a sound or two from many vsti to make a song. You do more variety than me, if you like. Everyone is free to do what they like. But thanks for your comment anyway
