Heroes of Might and Magic IV is a turn-based strategy game developed by Gus Smedstad through New World Computing and published by the 3DO Company for Microsoft Windows-based personal computers in 2002. A Macintosh port was subsequently developed by Contraband Entertainment and released by the 3DO Company. The fourth installment of the popular Heroes of Might and Magic franchise, it is the sequel to Heroes of Might and Magic III, and was the last to be developed by New World Computing.

Conclusion: Unicorns are way better in raw combat than Griffins.
Elves are garbage if you don't have a hero with wasp swarm, who is gonna stunlock the stack. Cats might be the strongest tier2 melee unit btw - nomads are faster but have garbage stats and golems are stronger, yet slow af.
@@bluecoil8356 I disagree, mantises are very strong. Nature pretty much has 1.5 tier 4 creatures compared to most others. Full growth for tier 4 creatures and half the growth for Mantises.
Turns out unicorns' performance is overall worse than that of griffins. One win in pair with elves is an outlier (check part 4 to see for yourself)
@@TabalugaDragon dude, i was talking about elves and cats, i haven't mentioned any mantes :) You must've messed up 'elves'(a unit) and 'preserve'(the nature faction)
