Hi sweetie just found your channel by accident and firstly can I say how amazing you look, hair makeup and your poise ( u hide your pain well) I love your ability to try out clothes for our size and age ( I'm 56) tastefully fashionable and chosen to look how we want to look. Sometimes clothing manufacturers give up producing clothes for ladies like us and that's when it's so easy goes wrong. I have mobility problems too so standing like yourself is challenging, i use a wheelchair when I'm having a bad day but I still want to sit pretty! And not look like a sack of potatoes! Watching your video takes the stress of of changing rooms and gives me a good idea of what is available and if it will suit me or not. Bless you Helen Mary Jo x
Thank you so much. I'm sorry to hear about your pain. If you watch one of the more recent videos you'll hear that I am now completely pain free. Apparently, it's what they call an episode and no reason to think it will happen again. I'm so lucky and happy to know I don't need surgery. xx

Just found your channel. That tan patterned shirt looks great on you. The color is perfect with your hair. I think the blue pleated skirt is really very nice on you!! It’s probably better to get your hip fixed even though it is not an easy surgery. Most people say they wished they hadn’t waited so long.

As a recently retired nurse I feel for you with your hip pain, I hope you are able to get your operation sooner rather than later. Thank you for showing the M&S items. I'm approximately your size and, when I ordered a few dresses recently from M&S, nothing fit and everything looked awful - I ordered everything in XL. I'm not used to not being able to try clothes on in stores; there aren't any stores left here for mature women; and I've had very little success ordering items sight-unseen off the internet. My shape has completely changed with age, almost overnight, and I have no idea what I'm supposed to wear anymore without just looking like a blob - nothing fits. I just subscribed to your channel, hoping for some future guidance. You mentioned your hips are your issue - mine is my stomach. I have no idea where that came from - it replaced my waist! Thank you.
Hi Marcia, it is difficult, but I find ordering a lot of things and trying them on is the best way to find what suits the 'new you'. Just go with it I'm sure you'll find something and get you mojo back. xx
Ah, i’m having the same problem. I always had a defined waist and flat tummy, now i feel like a big round blob. It’s a struggle, but I’m keeping at it, trying yo find casual clothing that looks nice. Good luck to you.

Hi Helen, I'm so happy to have just come across your channel. I live in Australia and sometimes shop online @M&S as I found them great when I was over there a few yrs ago. I don't really know what size i would be now, but I think your sizes are the same as ours, so looking at the clothes on you is a great indication of how they may look on me. I was a size 14 9yrs ago, but a 16 is prob more like it now ( even though the size charts often say different! LOL) Your clothes are so affordable, the first 2 dresses would easily be about $140 here! Hope you're having a great day and sending many happy regards from Oz x

I know the feeling you describe of 10 mins of sympathy then back to square one, sometimes it can be hard to accept especially when you’re by nature a giving person yourself, it can feel so one sided at times. But we just have to soldier on, don’t we.

The French tuck is at the front , just the front tucked in, graduated to the sides, and the back left out. The half tuck is half the shirt unbuttoned and tucked in. I feel your pain with your hip. I can remember how bad mine was before I had my hip replacement 12 months ago at the age of 58. I took cocodomol and ibuprofen for months and months, recommended by the doctor of course. I was stuck in the house one day because I couldn't get over the door step 😂 . Luckily it was in my day off , otherwise I couldn't have got to work. There is light at the end of the tunnel I promise you. My new hip us wonderful. No pain is such a relief!!!

Dress #2: Replace the little tie belt with a real belt--a substantial belt with maybe a tiny bit of embellishment--and take a few inches off the bottom of the dress, and it would be a nice all-purpose, day/night workhorse! I also like the red jacket you put over it. 11:30 - that blouse looks fantastic on you, whether tucked in or left untucked.

Everything here was a very good price and not geared to twenty somethings. I love that pink blouse, both on you and I would really like to get it too.
