Why you want a sequel? This game don't deserve that, besides there is no more story to tell. They should create game about Equestria Girls characters or Winx Club, that would be so much better.
For 79, It actually makes sense. Hans is from the story Clever Hans, Which is an ironic title. His fable is all about him being a clueless idiot and messing up directions, So it'd make sense for him to misinterpert the situation and actually just be trying to help. To sum it up, He stabs himself in the arm, Suffocates a donkey, And ties his wife up in a stable all because he misunderstands directions repeatedly...So it isn't out of character.
Then I guess we never see him again after this because noone but you sir knows about his tale which means he's a very weak fable and he probably died to weak boi Georgie. Still, good point.
@@muffinfluff2476 Actually it does work. A bitch is a female dog, but is used as a derogatory word for human women. He can be pissed off for two reasons: he dislikes the fact that someone uses the word to insult women, or he hates that they are using the word incorrectly. Or both.
Overall, the video's sins are correct, but there are a couple things wrong here This comment seems very long, but is actually a quick read. Please do; 00:40 Fables were created by humans. Both their stories, and their dimension. Humans know of the stories, but they didn't know that they created actual beings in another world. 00:52 Yes, but that's not really the sole concept of Fables. It's fairy tale beings living together in the modern human world. Shrek is just a fairy tale story that involves other fairy tale characters. 1:10 Bigby actually can't drive. 1:21 Just because no one has seen Toad doesn't mean it will never happen. It's still a risk regardless. I mean, it doesn't matter how many times you play Russian Roulette. Do it enough times, and you're gonna die eventually. 1:40 Mundies knowing stories and mundies knowing that the Fables actually exist and have their own government aren't the same thing. At all. 2:27 Bitch is a derogatory term used by humans to refer to women. Bigby's mother is literally a bitch, so using the nomenclature of his species as an insult would probably be offensive. I think it's a greater sin that Bigby wouldn't have thicker skin. 4:16 If a pig was walking around New York, someone would probably call some kind of animal control, and Colin would be captured. 5:05 Yes. And he's dulled his senses by smoking. Meaning that the trail, that's already gone cold mind you, wouldn't be very noticeable by his dumbed-down senses. 7:07 This one, I can't give you too much grief for because it isn't explained in the choice you made, but if you go to Lawrence first, he reveals that he cut both wrists, overdosed on sleeping pills, shot himself in the heart, then the head. That's much different than a simple axe. That's 3 more fatal wounds than Woody had. Not to mention, the Woodsman is one of the old manly men fables who have supernatural strength and vitality. His survival isn't based solely on his popularity. Edit; Also, you saying that the Woodsman "shook off" the axe strike is an extreme overstatement. The Woodsman, after getting hit, fell to the ground and laid motionless and presumably lost consciousness for some time. Until Bigby pulled the axe out from his skull, Woody wasn't even able to move. Even after it was taken out, he was still inert for a bit before he stumbled away. He didn't tank it. It fucked him up. And it takes him two full episodes to fully recover, shown after he had no bandage at the end of episode 3. 7:21 Yes, it does. The bullet in the wall is from the gunshot wound to his chest, which does in fact, have an exit wound. 8:15 Bluebeard is not the only violent fable, you are right. However, Bluebeard is one of the few that specifically decapitate women. 9:05 That's one detail and event in Bigby's long life. The likelihood that Bigby would be so self-absorbed that he'd know exactly what story made him popular is low. 10:10 Bigby is a Sheriff because he is cunning, observant, and powerful. Has nothing to do with his compassion or empathy. If you're going to have a person who has to enforce rules, you might want to get the biggest and scariest guy you know. 10:15 Blood already was on its way down her face, and she's sitting a foot away from a wolf. It's not hard to belief he'd smell it before it became visible. 13:27 Hans is a stereotypical big dumb guy. He didn't understand what Georgie was trying to do. 14:00 Frank Miler? Lmao 14:30 They lived in America for centuries. The accent probably faded with time. 15:16 Beast being human comes from the intimacy of his and Beauty's relationship. If they get into a lover's spat, Beast slowly transforms back into a beast. And Beast is MUCH more monstrous if the fight gets intense enough. 17:55 Flycatcher isn't going to have the balls to tell Bigby to piss off. He's a timid fellow. Not to mention (although poorly conveyed in the game), he and Bigby are friends. And Bigby doesn't need a warrant or anything. That's not how Fabletown works. If Flycatcher said "no", Bigby would just kick the door down. 20:26 Just because a shotgun blast wouldn't kill Bigby doesn't mean it wouldn't fuck his shit up. He feels pain the same way you and I do, he's just much more durable. 20:54 Bigby Wolf is a Werewolf. Just instead of being a human that can turn into a wolf, he's a wolf that can turn into a human. Bigby's ability to transform into a human is literally because he was cut with a knife that had the werewolf curse on it. Therefore, he's weak to fire and silver the same way any other werewolf is. 21:31 You can if you're a magical werewolf with a healing factor. As long as Bigby connects the damaged pieces to himself, he can heal the bits back together. Doesn't matter if it's bone, cartilage, entire limbs, or even organs. He can't regrow entire parts like Deadpool, but he can fuse the separate pieces together. He's a werewolf, dude. He can heal any wound not caused by fire or silver. 23:40 They literally just explained why they won't do that; they are materialistic people that need to feel as though they live like royalty. 24:09 The hell? Toad is CLEARLY not 5 foot. He looks more like two, and in the first episode, Bigby says he's 3 foot. I know this seems nitpicky, but I mean, 5 foot is an extremely unrealistic estimate of how tall he is. 26:48 Georgie isn't popular, nor is he some brutish or monstrous fable. Not to mention, he lived much longer than any human would after a stab wound like that. He survived massive bleeding for a good thirty minutes, and still didn't technically die on screen, meaning we have no idea how long it took him to kick the bucket. 27:09 Because turning into a gigantic wolf is usually too inconvenient to do indoors, or in public places. Also, it'd be a serious misapplication of power to turn into his true form if he isn't fighting someone that powerful. Bigby literally turned into a giant wolf because he had no choice. He didn't need to on anyone else. It would be like Goku turning Super Saiyan 3 to fight Krillen; it isn't necessary. 27:30 Crooked man has a chance to explain himself. If he just shot Bigby, it would be too indefensible, and they'd eventually send someone to apprehend him. 27:37 The Crooked man had his hand into every aspect of Fable life, and MOST Fables were affected by him. It'd be hard to find someone who was impartial. Not to mention, this way, the people who were wronged get to see the justice first hand. 28:51 The entire woodland is blocked off by a magic barrier. Humans are oblivious to it in a certain range. In the comics, Fabletown literally had a war on Bullfinch street, and the mundies hardly noticed. 29:59 Nerissa never claimed, nor was it stated anywhere they she left Lily's head at the steps. Only Faith's.
The word bitch to Bigby is insult to an human woman, how? Reverse this, imagine in a world a wolves who use woman as a sexist insult to female wolves, would you care? Not nearly as much as this game makes it out to be. Female canines are literally bitches.
Anduin Arilan Because he's intelligent enough to understand what an insult is? You're kinda ignoring his particular situation aren't you? He was born a wolf but has spent a long time being around and with humans. One of the few people he genuinely cares about is a woman, and he was raised by his mother after his father abandoned him, It's in his codex in the game. So knowing all that, and going with your scenario, yes I think he'd still be super mad when someone said it. Because it's an insult used against a woman. They aren't talking about female dogs. They are referring to a human woman with a derogatory word meant to insult them. And Bigby hates that. He hates when they call them other words as well. Bigby does not like it when you insult woman. Period.
The differing vulnerability is actually explained in the comics. It depends on the popularity of the individual fable in the human world. This is why Prince Lawrence or Georgie are easy to kill and Bigby or Snow White are almost invulnerable and can even recover from total mutilation. But because this is not explained in the game (at least I assume, haven't played it since it's release) the sins are still valid. Good video, as always.
Viktoria Bishop, that's what he said in the video, but HOW DOES IT WORK? What is it like that? were they all easy to kill in their world? did they know that being popular among humans made them stronger?
"Bigby keeps getting blamed for things he was never even aware of because the crime was never reported to him." This entire series would have been solved in episode one if Fables actually reported crimes to the police, lol.
@faisal eagle eye Not even that, the weirdo literally did no work at all and used all the funds to pay his debts with the crocked man and daily massages.
A lot of them did, and were ignored because the fabletown government actually did not care. You can see this when Bigby visits the trip trap and Gren scolds him for never helping the poorer fables.
@@Purgers2 Its fun to see a few skewered details, but annoying to see the video try to call out details that actually match factually into the story of fabletown. Makes me feel like the guy hasn't done enough research. But, yes, some of these details he points out are accurate.
I actually liked this game. There are a lot of Telltale games i skipped or didn't care about, but this one, Walking Dead Seasons 1-2, and the Borderlands one i really liked.
Most of them are the same voice actors from TWD. Bluebeard is Lee (Dave Fennoy), Toad jr. and Beauty are Clementine (Melissa Hutchison), Snow White is Molly and Bonnie (Erin Yvette), Beast is Kenny (Gavin Hammon), Kelsey Brannigan is Kat (Cissy Jones) (Was from cut content) and I think that was all. :3
IfYouSeeThis It's not, because this (storywise) is an amazing game, that's a trend with telltale, most of their games have interesting stories and twists, but then they try to convince you that this is a choice game, and that your choices will matter later on, when they really won't (aside from a few dialogue changes), for instance no matter what you do, Lee will die and Clem will end up with Christa and Omid, no matter what you do, Clem will end up alone, regardless of wether you chose to stay with Jane or Kenny, no matter what you do, Javier can't end up alone, and it doesn't matter who survives and stays with him, cause his story arc is over and we won't see him again, no matter what you do, you will be redeemed in the eyes of fabletown, and all is good and well, Telltale games are great when it comes to their stories, but the choices make them shit basically
I agree with the other dude... it's a very low bar. Games by definition are comprised of many elements. When you only focus on one element - story - and neglect others, you get a shitty game with a good story, nothing else. Of course, assuming the story is any good.
I'll never understand who EVER thinks 'Glass him' means anything less than what it does, ESPECIALLY given the context of the scene. It's an old term, old as noir itself. Also, how is there not multiple sins off for Bloody Mary, I mean...DAMN.
I thought it meant like buy him a drink not smash a glass in his face. I saw a play through where someone else also didn't think glass him meant hit him in the face. I think it was cry. I think they could have used a different phrase to make it a little clearer cause there's obviously a few people that didn't get it. But hindsight 20/20 blah blah blah. I'm honestly just glad I wasn't the only one this happened too. 😆
6:30 You do know that the word Grim Tales comes from the name Grimm, because they were the one who gathered them and wrote them down. It doesn't have anything to do with the adjective grim.
Most of these sins are explained in the comics. The street Toad is on is hidden itself because only Fables live their. Also, Miss Totenkinder is responcible for many spells around the city which would make normal people forget about stuff like a Werwolf on the street and a Toad getting into a car. Beast allways transformes as much into his Beast-Form as his wife is angry about him, which makes sence regarding the nature of his curse. They all lived for hundreds of years in Amerika, ofcourse they picked up an accent. Also, non of them told their stories to the normal people, they just appeard in their heads. It's a riddle the Fables themselves don't know much about. Only Fables with a story would survive that long, which is why everyone in Fabletown has one. And Bigby is only half Wolf. He is mostly a shapeshifter, but he allways loved his mother more and thats why he lived as a Wolf. He later learned to transform into a human. Silver is used against all kinds of Shapeshifters, also Bigby might be responsible for the Werwolf-legend all by himself in the first place.
The Beast with the horns sin is a bit of a stretch since you know Bigby has different phases of his transformation, like the Wolverine with yellow eyes one in the first fight to the giant wolf. So i guess that wasn't even Beast's final form.
3:34 actually Faith was dead before Bigby even knew who she was. The Faith he met was Nerissa in a glamour. So yes, she actually did have a reason to talk about the ribbon. Nerissa was trying to make Bigby investigate the ribbon even though she couldn't talk about it.
@@kanabis134 no…if that’s the case, the coworkers and most definitely Georgie would realize that faith has disappeared and nerissa magically reappeared lol, Georgie gotta be an idiot to communicate with nerissa throughout all the game and not realise he actually killed her
Maybe the reason why Georgie died so easily is because nobody real knows of his fable that much and since this series follows the Greek god rules of power (the more people believe in you the stronger you are) snow white, the little mermaid, and beauty and the beast should be freakin immortal because of disney.
Georgie Porgie is a pretty interchangeable fable it’s like a song like Jack Horner or King cole but it’s about a boy kissing multiple girls I barely remember the fable
Ali fouladi Its inconsistent, Bigbys shotgun wounds in the shoulder stay for awhile and even used as plot. You can't tell me a single shotgun wound heals slower than several gunshot wounds and a bone sticking out of your arm.
You already mentioned why. Do enough people know the donkey skin girls tale well enough to make the Prince, Bigby or Woodsman levels of invincible? I never heard that story until I played this game.
One sin that I've never heard talked about is that when they find Lily's head and think it's Snow's, Bigby falls for it when he should have taken one whiff and recognized that it wasn't Snow at all. Heck, within the first three chapters of a 150 chapter comic series it's explained that Bigby is incapable of blocking out Snow's scent despite him smoking to dull his senses. He can even pinpoint her exact location within a 20 mile radius based on scent alone! So why does the glamoured head thing work? And no, it's not her perfume. It's also stated that Bigby can tell it's her by her natural musk, no matter what kind of artificial scent she wears. So why does this work?
#18 - He put his hands on her so he owes her the money. That he decided to beat her instead of getting sex is his own fault. #24 - This always REALLY bugged me. Also, if he's managing to sneak off the farm and get to Biby's place without a problem, doesn't that also prove he doesn't need a glamour? #42 - Maybe not enough people know about his story? Also, what's up with the game not explaining that's where their immortality comes from? I didn't know that until I watched this video. #81 - I'm missing some important context for this one. #158 - The game ends up with the same problem the later Harry Potter movies have where they want their super cool set piece more than they want internal consistency with the rules of their universe. "We can't let muggles see us and we have to move you in secret so Voldemort doesn't know where you are...let's fly around London at street level!" #164 - Telltale refuses to understand how any job in existence works. #29, #30, #41, #48, #64, #71, #130, #161, #170, #178 thru #182 - Points so excellent I need to point out how excellent they are.
The Harry Potter thing is easy...They spelled themselves so that the muggles wouldn't notice them. Like how there was an entire building that the muggles didn't notice. Very simple and it's explained in the movies, unlike here where it's never explained in the gameplay
>#81 - I'm missing some important context for this one. This is just one of several mentions of "important information is in the middle of the book." Every time they look in a book, the pages are opened to the exact middle. Never the end, or the front, or a note in the inside cover. Also, see at ruclips.net/video/aRNKrHTvq6k/видео.html (18:13)
This easily one my favourite TellTale games and one of their best games to date whether you think it's overrated or not. But that doesn't mean that the game has sins or that you should dislike the video, just try to enjoy it and not get salty lol.
@@f_mva sorry for late comment but every game he makes as a lot of Sins. And none of these videos should change your mind about a video game. If you like it like it.
I think we need a sins video for Metro: Last Light, haha. I find it amusing that Dartigan always references that game when talking about "boob-rendering technology".
3:34, Faith knows the ribbon stops her from speaking, and highlights it to Bigby in the hope that maybe he will later figure this out. If you subscribe to the likely theory the Faith survives the whole game and sets the whole series of events in action to earn her freedom, this line makes a lot of sense
Wow, no sins removed? Kind of shocked by that. Ah well, another awesome video (despite a couple of issues syncing up audio)! Gotta be honest, did not see those options coming for the next video, & I feel pretty equal about them...oh, Dead Space 2, why not.
20:27 actually that scene still works, it was a funeral and Bigby getting shot would only make a bigger scene than what happened and he didn’t want to ruin the funeral.
if you actually take a close look at the material being critiqued you'd see more than a few mistakes, he only did one run I'd bet and didn't even touch upon narrative mistakes but sure let's pretend his half assed approach is "great"
@@aaron75fy "great" is a subjective term. Let him have his opinions. If you don't like the content, you don't have to watch it. Go watch stuff you think is great then.
@@rosestar1324 great may be subjective, but professional work is objective from the quality of the videos the only professional work is in the video editing also go fuck yourself
13:33 actually if you read his bio, you find out Hans is actually quite simple minded and easy to confuse. He actually throws goats eyes at his wife as stated in the bio. So maybe it’s not too far fetched he thought Georgie was confused
5:04 Is that really why he smokes? That's kind of awesome. I wonder how he's got such good lungs though, to blow that much wind. 21:46 Also, hard shell, but soft in the middle.
Gleidston Filipe in the comics his father is the North Wind, that’s why he has the power to blow hurricane force winds, he technically can have more powers because in the comics the four winds are essentially God’s and anyone related to them can have vast amounts of powers, but Bigby hates his dad and never went with him to learn his powers and just taught himself the whole huff and puff ability
I don’t care about anything wrong with the game, no matter how many flaws you point out, I will always love this game, plus you can’t make a game perfect
30:12 This could also imply, that we never met Faith, but Nerissa glamoured as Faith to get bigbys attention to the case. Because she thaught bigby would not care that much about a dead prostitude, if he never met her.
Okay, I can see this guy didn't do enough research on the Fables comics. I know this is mostly humor and nitpicking, but I got a little ticked off at the "HBO Shrek" thing, so here we go: - Bigby doesn't drive car, becouse he doesn't know how to drive (he tells this to Snow White in comics) - What the hell is this guy even saying? Of course its a problem Toad doesn't look human. Yeah yeah, most of the mundies have wooden eyes for not noticing a talking frog and a wolfman, but thats just bad writing - Yeah, and what do you think would happen when humans find out about near immortal magical beings? - From what I understand, The Literals are responsible for existence of Fables and the spread of their stories in mundy world - Yeah, you have a point, I wondered that too later on why Bigby couldn't just find the bleeding person with his sense of smell - I don't know about Bigby caring about the b-word, but offending Snow WOULD make him mad sense he is in love with her - Its already implicated in almost the first pages of the first comic that Beast may start to turn if Belle's has negative feeling towards him, like them having a fight or seeing him being violent - That "important information in the middle of the book" is pretty repeating and funny/dumb - Its stated in the comics that silver DOES hurt Bigby. Why? I don't know, it just is like that. Perhaps its wolf thing. He even tell a person who shot him that they shoul've used silver. - I think Georgie died becouse he just isn't that well known. I mean I never even heard of Georgie Porgie before this game becouse the his fable is just a rhyme and every country has very different nursery rhymes with select few common ones, when fables like Snow and Bigby who are known through-out the whole world and are becouse of that so hard to kill
Sentou91 So what you're saying is that when I buy a game to play, I must out and get all the material the game is based on to read about? No. Some people just want to play the game. And if the game doesn't mention some things that the comic does that would have sins not added then oh well. The game and the comic are two different things and he chose to sin the game.
I'm not paying more money to get some comics just because a game is based off them. Every story, game, movie, whatever. If you write a series and someone picks the third book, it must give enough info to at least make sense to the reader. If you write a movie or a game based off a book/comic, it must give enough information to at least keep the newbie up to speed There are no exceptions.
Wait, so you never heard the rhyme about Georgie? Never read the Mother Goose book of rhymes as a kid? Or did I read that wrong? I mean maybe a bunch of people have never heard the rhyme. I've known the basic story about the ribbons keeping heads on since I was a kid, but I was really into the whole myths, legends, fairy tales thing as a kid.
Did all the telltale fanboys instinctively hit dislike without watching the video? It's a lot better now but the video had 100 dislikes within 15 minutes of it being posted, it was pretty silly.
It is incredibly overrated. It has poor writing, constant plot holes, and few likeable characters. The "edgy retelling of fairtytales" genre has been done before, and better.
played it too it was great but gearbox making a third one themselvs and TTG is done making awesome games after this and tales from the borderlands i personaly like the wolf among us the most. also sorry if there is problem in text. my english sucks
The #59 to #60 is not really accurate because the tell tale version is VERY loosely based off the comics. There are characters in the tell tale version that aren't even on the comic. Only certain characters and aspects of them are brought over to the game.
9:09 did you really? Fucking why!? He's in the middle of frustratingly telling you a story you already know, as you interrogate him about whether he killed the woman he beat up last night. I think if that's what the option ment, it'd say "Cink Glasses" but even if it did mean that, that'd be a freaking weird time to do it. "Glass Him" seems like a pretty obvious way of saying smash HIM with glass.
If I remember correctly the part with immortality as long people remember them, was unclear in the comics. Jack (???) learned that when he went to Hollywood
"The story of donkeyskin isn't that bad. She lives happily ever after." Oh so because she find a loving husband that erases the fact that her father tried to sexually assault her and she had to flee everything she ever knew because she realized the one parent she had alive wanted to have sex with her? And that's "not that bad?" Bruh.... wtf
Better than the actual real life inspiration of the story, Dymphna of Geel. An Irish princess who after her mother died, her father tried to marry her himself. She flees to present day Belgium, a town called Geel and sets up a hospice. The king, her father eventually hears word about where she is, finds, and promptly beheads her after refusing to marry him again. Donkeyskin definitely tells a happier ending.
It's the other way around - their worlds and existence came into being from the Mundies' stories. It's an essential part of the plot. They even try to use it later in the story to fight Mr. Dark, or later when the world itself tries to force Snow and Rose to fight each other to recreate a old story.
7:55 ah yes the off-screen cutscene sucker punch, every protagonist greatest weakness, even though technically this game is one giant cutscene beside the investigation
Glad I wasn't the only one surprised by the glass him moment. Though it is quite hilarious when you expect to touch glasses and instead smash a glass into his face.
17:23 This scene alone deserves the removal of three sins, as it has three references to Boy Blue, in a single image : his letter written in blue ink (while the other characters - such as Mr Toad - write in black ink), the Witching Cloak (which was given to him, so he would survive the events of The last Castle - one of the most important events in his life) and the Vorpal Sword (from Jabberwocky, a poem in Through The Looking-Glass And What Alice Found There - this will be his weapon of choice). If I remember correctly, not only is he an expert at using the Witching Cloak, he is also the only character who can use it. Not even the Thirteenth Floor Witches come close to mastering it half as good as him. Also, even though the Vorpal Sword is Boy Blue's weapon of choice, it's ironic that it is assigned to Snow White, of all the people. In fact, in the series, it is the Vorpal Sword that does all the work on its own and kills an enemy in one hit, even though its current wielder is completely inept at sword fighting. All that is required from the wielder is to keep the Vorpal Sword in hand and that's it. Snow White, on the other hand, is an expert fencer. That's how she took revenge on the Seven Dwarfs. Granted, it was not the same kind of sword and, more importantly, it is very possible that she has, somewhat, managed to hide those murders (even from Kai - the Fable who can see every single evil ever performed by anyone, just with a single glance). Besides, given the circumstances, it can't honestly be called murders and that's possibly why Prince Charming's cover-up was probably not detected either by Kai. Still, it's ironic that Snow White, the expert fencer, is assigned a sword whose purpose is to do the job for her, instead of putting her skills to use.
Racial slurs are tied to the oppression and de-humanization of the group they're aimed at. The b-word isn't tied to the mistreatment of wolves or dogs. We don't really have special derogatory terms for animals; animal cruelty is usually justified with, "it's just an animal".
Bitch is a slur that's frequently used to dehumanize and oppress women and people seen as feminine. I don't think Bigby is mad because it's "derogatory to canines", I think it's probably more because it happens to be a pretty misogynistic word. I'd be pissed too if I saw a battered prostitute and a woman I loved being called that.
Great video, the wolf among us is my favorite game and most sins are correct (although i understand it's satire/criticism because that is the sins format cinema sins and others use) but I only had problem with 2 sins: 1.- you keep mentioning the fortunes of the fables like beauty and beast, snow white, little mermaid and more saying that they spend their wealth recklessly but in the comic of fables it's said that even the fables that were royalty could not brought their fortune with them because the attack of the adversary on their realm was so out of nowhere that no fable could've been prepared so all of the fables had to run and escape their lands with nothing with them. that is the reason why most fables including the most famous are poor as hell, the only fable that is rich per say is bluebeard and that is because he was the only one that managed to escape with his fortune. 2.- in 20:54 you said Bigby is not a werewolf only a wolf (to be more specific the wolf from red riding hood) but Bigby IS a werewolf, in the graphic novel _1001 nights of snowfall_ snow white goes searching for Bigby to convince him to come join fable town (the novel is a prequel) and to help Bigby fit in among humans instead of living in the forest she cut him with a lycantrophy knife giving him the ability to assimilate human appearance and transform into a werewolf. also (this is more of a fun fact) you mention that the line "I think we've met before" only has meaning to the end of the story on none at all (which...is true so kudos) the line is true, most fables at one point or another have crossed paths without realizing it for example Bigby is not only the wolf from red riding hood but also the wolf from _the 3 little pigs_ , _the boy who cried wolf_ and every single story/fable that involves a wolf as part of the story or as an antagonist. so in the past Bigby met many many fables but never remembered them (till they moved to the real world because now he interacts more with everyone) because Bigby was a survivor, he only cared to survive one more day so for him most encounters were inconsequential.
Additional sin around the 146-sins mark: Jersey is supposed to be the Jersey Devil, which was described as a winged beast with a horse's head, or, "a kangaroo-like or wyvern-like creature with the head of a goat, leathery bat-like wings, horns, small arms with clawed hands, cloven hooves and a forked tail. It has been reported to move quickly and often is described as emitting a 'blood-curdling scream.'" Yet the creature Jersey is actually depicted to be is not the Jersey Devil, but much more resembling the cannibalistic Wendigo of Algonquian Native folklore.
2:33 Her right eye is the one that has the bruise on it. Don't forget that you are at a different point of view compared to herself. So to her, that's her right eye.
Bricklebit! Also, Telltale Games doesn’t sell Wolf Among Us prints. One sin! I’d love to get prints of the title cards and openings. Those backgrounds are gorgeous.
Mate, do Dead Space 2 next. Alien Isolation is really boring, trust me. People just want to see you being scared, but I know you don't get scared. Besides Dead Space is creepier and scarier.
It's not unpredictable at all. It's actually programmed to intervene when you're about to do something that will advance the game or start running. In dead space the a.i. is programmed to come out when you don't expect it, it does have its scripted moments like all games do, but doesn't rely on certain things to emerge like alien or any other first person horror game where you can't do anything but hide.
about that thing at 6:32.. The word grim is actually "Grimm" wich was the surname of the brothers who collected and wrote down those storrys. So no relaton to the english word "grim".
1:10 Nope. Fabletown doesn't have many resources to begin with, and Bigby is not exactly beloved by the other Fables to begin with. That's a plotpoint, not a sin.
2:00 I was wondering that too. At one point Colin and Bigby talk about Toad's kids, plural, but I still only see the one. There's also 10:13 where he could SMELL THE BLOOD-
On the spell sin. I don’t think he ever says the spell puts them to sleep for a full day. It just wipes their memories of the last 24 hours. So innocent people could still suffer. It just wouldn’t be as bad as you’re implying
10:35 Crane said that the spell will make the entire station FORGET the last 24 hours, not making them sleep for 24 hours. So they will still be able to help people when they wake up.
9:10 - That's exactly what I thought too, that's why I did it in my first playthrough, cuz I was trying to be amicable. Instead, Bigby smashes the glass into the Woodsman's face and I'm like "Wait! That wasn't what I wanted to do!"
Everything wrong with The Wolf Among Us: there isn't a sequel
tree fiddy you might want to take that statement back. (That is, if it doesn’t come to fruition, and gets canceled again).
Yeah except they confirmed it and now it's on
We’re finally getting it dawg!!!
Why you want a sequel? This game don't deserve that, besides there is no more story to tell. They should create game about Equestria Girls characters or Winx Club, that would be so much better.
I wish I could like this comment like 20 times. There's supposed to be a sequel, but I have to find some more info.
Sirocco he was in the final episode.
pretty sure that was 80 not 79.
Maybe Bibgy's getting annoyed by people saying Bitch because they're using it incorrectly.
no because a female wolf is not a bitch, its a she wolf
@@muffinfluff2476 Actually it does work.
A bitch is a female dog, but is used as a derogatory word for human women.
He can be pissed off for two reasons: he dislikes the fact that someone uses the word to insult women, or he hates that they are using the word incorrectly. Or both.

@@Neo2266. cow i know. Also ive heard old goat like old man or something. Where are you from?
Overall, the video's sins are correct, but there are a couple things wrong here This comment seems very long, but is actually a quick read. Please do;
00:40 Fables were created by humans.
Lmao
14:30 They lived in America for centuries.
Only Faith's.
clearly u never seen babe pig in the city

Screw you for mentioning that :C
Bigby doesn't like woman being insulted.
Cade Escobedo Bigby is a good man
The word bitch to Bigby is insult to an human woman, how?
Period.
Say woman again, I dare you.
Anduin Arilan how about you take it easy?
The differing vulnerability is actually explained in the comics. It depends on the popularity of the individual fable in the human world. This is why Prince Lawrence or Georgie are easy to kill and Bigby or Snow White are almost invulnerable and can even recover from total mutilation.
But because this is not explained in the game (at least I assume, haven't played it since it's release) the sins are still valid.
Good video, as always.
they are different dumbass
Viktoria Bishop I never read the comics and that was my assumption,
Viktoria Bishop, that's what he said in the video, but HOW DOES IT WORK? What is it like that? were they all easy to kill in their world? did they know that being popular among humans made them stronger?
Viktoria Bishop at 3:08
Viktoria Bishop True. A form of media should be able to stand on its own. I shouldn't have to read the comics to know this information.
"Bigby keeps getting blamed for things he was never even aware of because the crime was never reported to him."
This entire series would have been solved in episode one if Fables actually reported crimes to the police, lol.
@faisal eagle eye Not even that, the weirdo literally did no work at all and used all the funds to pay his debts with the crocked man and daily massages.
If anything snow is the one they should blame she's the one that turned them away
Ever heard of poltics? Even the best people when covered In beaucracy and shit, they can’t help everyone and sometimes they turn away the innocent
A lot of them did, and were ignored because the fabletown government actually did not care. You can see this when Bigby visits the trip trap and Gren scolds him for never helping the poorer fables.
The Wolf Among Us is one of my favorite games and you ain't seeing me dislike. These videos are made for fun stop taking it so seriously.

@@Purgers2 bro, some of them ARE funny. I'm just saying...
Biggest sin: Beast and Beauty are voiced by Kenny and Clementine. You can even hear older clemtine in Beauty.
Theo Stadick TJ is younger Clementine.
Blackbeard is lee
Most of them are the same voice actors from TWD. Bluebeard is Lee (Dave Fennoy), Toad jr. and Beauty are Clementine (Melissa Hutchison), Snow White is Molly and Bonnie (Erin Yvette), Beast is Kenny (Gavin Hammon), Kelsey Brannigan is Kat (Cissy Jones) (Was from cut content) and I think that was all. :3
Best Telltale game so far
Vyrlx that's a pretty low bar actually.
Story telling was Tell Tales only strong point, and that seems to have went down the toilet.
Vyrlx The story isn't great though. It's full of plotholes. Walkind Dead S1 was way better imo.
I'll never understand who EVER thinks 'Glass him' means anything less than what it does, ESPECIALLY given the context of the scene.
It's an old term, old as noir itself.
Also, how is there not multiple sins off for Bloody Mary, I mean...DAMN.
Dapper Changeling He salsa calls Aubrey Greenleaf's black market glaumor source illegal after sinning it for being called illegal by bigby
Maybe I'm wrong it could have been GCN that said that before anyone corrects me if I'm wrong
So are you saying glass him means get him a drink or hit him with the glass?
i thought i would offer him a drink srsly
It's the opposite. Nerissa was killed and faith was glamourized to look like her.
L but this game takes place in the 80s. Most of the Disney movies, (if not all of them), didn’t come out until the 90s and later.

That's a good take
Okay, I can see this guy didn't do enough research on the Fables comics. I know this is mostly humor and nitpicking, but I got a little ticked off at the "HBO Shrek" thing, so here we go:
- Bigby doesn't drive car, becouse he doesn't know how to drive (he tells this to Snow White in comics)
- What the hell is this guy even saying? Of course its a problem Toad doesn't look human. Yeah yeah, most of the mundies have wooden eyes for not noticing a talking frog and a wolfman, but thats just bad writing
- Yeah, and what do you think would happen when humans find out about near immortal magical beings?
- From what I understand, The Literals are responsible for existence of Fables and the spread of their stories in mundy world
- Yeah, you have a point, I wondered that too later on why Bigby couldn't just find the bleeding person with his sense of smell
- I don't know about Bigby caring about the b-word, but offending Snow WOULD make him mad sense he is in love with her
- Its already implicated in almost the first pages of the first comic that Beast may start to turn if Belle's has negative feeling towards him, like them having a fight or seeing him being violent
- That "important information in the middle of the book" is pretty repeating and funny/dumb
- Its stated in the comics that silver DOES hurt Bigby.
Sentou91 Either way, thank you for the information!
I'm not paying more money to get some comics just because a game is based off them. Every story, game, movie, whatever.
If you write a series and someone picks the third book, it must give enough info to at least make sense to the reader.
If you write a movie or a game based off a book/comic, it must give enough information to at least keep the newbie up to speed
There are no exceptions.
Why so many dislikes? You can't even watch half the video yet...
mad fanboys...
Not just fanboys...GCN fanboys...the worst of them all.
Dean Arcilla obviously he talking about the one that disliked...
Are you seriously not understanding the comment? Or just trying to be cute
Fuck gcn the suck, so does gaming sins. Dartigan is the only good cinemasins nock-off. He actual is good, he's as good as Jeremy.
most likely because there's a few mistakes in the first half
This is my favourite game, despite its faults. Thanks for making the video!
Did all the telltale fanboys instinctively hit dislike without watching the video?
It's a lot better now but the video had 100 dislikes within 15 minutes of it being posted, it was pretty silly.
idiots just dont get the joke
It is incredibly overrated. It has poor writing, constant plot holes, and few likeable characters. The "edgy retelling of fairtytales" genre has been done before, and better.
darkin:be hold the diobalic mind tell tail
has bring.....oh that was easy
darkel: hmmm.........how shitty
have you guys played it too and say its overatted?
cause i think this one and the first the walking daed game are the best TTG to date
played it too it was great
but gearbox making a third one themselvs and TTG is done making awesome games after this
and tales from the borderlands
i personaly like the wolf among us the most.
also sorry if there is problem in text. my english sucks
The #59 to #60 is not really accurate because the tell tale version is VERY loosely based off the comics. There are characters in the tell tale version that aren't even on the comic. Only certain characters and aspects of them are brought over to the game.
9:11
I actually thought the same when I played this for the first time. I'm sorry for breaking a glass in your face, Woody 😂
7:07 not many people know about that fable so he can die easily
And he shot, stabbed, drank, and drugged himself to death. One of these would be enough for a normal human.
If I remember correctly the part with immortality as long people remember them, was unclear in the comics. Jack (???) learned that when he went to Hollywood
Dartigan, Linkara would be so proud of you. Nice jab with Miller.
Me: Finishes the game and watches the second game's trailer
Me: Laughing at everybody who said it was a bait
"The story of donkeyskin isn't that bad. She lives happily ever after."
Oh so because she find a loving husband that erases the fact that her father tried to sexually assault her and she had to flee everything she ever knew because she realized the one parent she had alive wanted to have sex with her? And that's "not that bad?"
Bruh.... wtf
Not that bad compared to other fairy tales where they don't live happily ever after.
Well now you HAVE to do Metro Last light.
It's a running gag, like the starwipe and the apple thing.
@Daniel von Strangle 15:30 is literally a running joke. It IS a running gag.
7:55 ah yes the off-screen cutscene sucker punch, every protagonist greatest weakness, even though technically this game is one giant cutscene beside the investigation
I can already see it: "Wolf Among Us 2: The Wrath of Mickey Mouse"
Glad I wasn't the only one surprised by the glass him moment. Though it is quite hilarious when you expect to touch glasses and instead smash a glass into his face.
Why does everyone just call beauty "beauty" she has a real name and its belle.
9:10, My thoughts exactly! I was actually so surprised I instantly brought the game back to the previous checkpoint so that I could change my choice.
to be fair at least where I am in the comic that thing about getting power from humans knowing there story is just a rumor
Yep. Not to mention the spin-off comics.
8:07 You can read information on BigB's desk about bluebeard. And BigB says "I don't trust him"
Exactly.
Season 2 is coming people 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
nope...
I'd imagine he hates the word b***h for the same reason anyone would hate the use of a racial slur.
Great video, the wolf among us is my favorite game and most sins are correct (although i understand it's satire/criticism because that is the sins format cinema sins and others use) but I only had problem with 2 sins:
1.- you keep mentioning the fortunes of the fables like beauty and beast, snow white, little mermaid and more saying that they spend their wealth recklessly but in the comic of fables it's said that even the fables that were royalty could not brought their fortune with them because the attack of the adversary on their realm was so out of nowhere that no fable could've been prepared so all of the fables had to run and escape their lands with nothing with them. that is the reason why most fables including the most famous are poor as hell, the only fable that is rich per say is bluebeard and that is because he was the only one that managed to escape with his fortune.
It's a shame that we'll never get a season 2 to this game.
R.I.P Telltale
Josh Guidry you might want to rethink that statement. (That is, unless they cancel it out of the blue again). (Please don’t let that happen).
Oh ooh you have no idea
The Wolf is back!
I'm surprised that nobody pointed out what Beast was doing at open arms.
Just like Bigby, he tracked Beauty down.
When your in the room when the glamour maker is still a child, you can see the glamour container behind her back
"To glass" someone is a British term, the British use glass as a verb lol
2:33 Her right eye is the one that has the bruise on it. Don't forget that you are at a different point of view compared to herself. So to her, that's her right eye.
Pretty please Dead Space 2. Pretty please with sugar on top. :)
I’m depressed there’ll never be a 2
J0SH L0CK there will be now.
LIES there is NOTHING wrong with the wolf among us it’s absolutely awesome in every sense go play it right now :)
Deadspace 2!!!!!! Also the people who disliked this chill why are you taking this seriously at all?
There is a guy who already did Dead Space 2. Please do *Alien: Isolation*
Ah... I see you chose to tore that guy's hand and yell: "go fetch, lap dog" At him. Lmao that's cruel I had to replay through that lolol
There is nothing wrong with the game , period.
I feel like it was more implied that Nerissa was glammed as Faith during their first meeting, but that's just what I thought.
Woah, why is the like-dislike ratio equal ?
Maybe because people know Dartigan has a tendency to be super petty in these videos so they dislike without even watching
Ha, funny how that turned out after 8 months
i ,for one, hope that they will make a sequel out of this game. this is my favorite of the telltale games so far
What was the subreddit born by the safe key
@10:28 - The wolf's model is impatient, lol.
You can explain the late nosebleed with Big B's special nose, I guess...
when the impostor is sus
ämong us reference
2:00 I was wondering that too. At one point Colin and Bigby talk about Toad's kids, plural, but I still only see the one.
There's also 10:13 where he could SMELL THE BLOOD-
WELP, NO SEQUEL FOR US ANYMORE
2:33 um...no, you mean the right eye has a shiner.
Was looking to see if anyone else noticed
Um no it doesn't?
@@RUclipssuckscock um yes. She IS checking her left eye. The black eye is on her right eye.
His left not hers
13:47 what subreddit is he talking about?
On the spell sin. I don’t think he ever says the spell puts them to sleep for a full day. It just wipes their memories of the last 24 hours. So innocent people could still suffer. It just wouldn’t be as bad as you’re implying
Amogus
10:35 Crane said that the spell will make the entire station FORGET the last 24 hours, not making them sleep for 24 hours. So they will still be able to help people when they wake up.
AMONG US
9:10 - That's exactly what I thought too, that's why I did it in my first playthrough, cuz I was trying to be amicable. Instead, Bigby smashes the glass into the Woodsman's face and I'm like "Wait! That wasn't what I wanted to do!"
Alien isolation
Thank god a season 2 is in the making
How the fuck did you get so many dislikes for this????????
