Hey bro, how does it affect daily driving shifts. The stock tune for 10 speed on my truck has some pretty clunky shifting and was wondering if aftermarket tune can clean it out.
MrInzombia Yeah it will. With the tune it runs the truck through every gear. It usually holds higher rpms than stock, it holds the trans and the gear you’re in for a extra second then shifts. Plus it’s a huge increase in horse power. Definitely recommended!
Does it improve the erratic factory 10 speed shift pattern? I love my ‘18 5.0 but hate the shifting in regular drive mode especially the 3rd to 5th skip shifting
Jason Evans You’re all good, no worries haha. From what I know and have heard is that with this tuner they do not yet have a function available to where you can change that. I have larger tires on my truck, and I got a heads up display for it and have it displaying my speed, and I changed the settings on that. So my speedometer says what the speed with stock tires would be, but my heads up display tells me what my actual speed is. It’s a pretty good combo I have going on for it and I don’t think anyone else is doing anything like that from what I know. But unfortunately I don’t think you can change your speedometer for tire size from the tuner. I wish you could though :/
You aren't getting anywhere near 90hp. The sct on the 3.5 ecoboost doesn't get 90hp. 30 hp was max on my ecoboost, it added 3 lbs of boost and some fuel which promptly ate my spark plugs. Sct isn't as bad as diablo but its close
Bryce Dunn Well it depends how you look at it... in town then I went from about 17 that I used to get to now 15, because I always find myself stomping on it wanting to go faster haha. On the highway I went from getting 18 to now around 24. A big improvement!! I would definitely be getting better in town but I like to stomp on it haha.
I have a 5.0 youre no where near 90hp gain on 93 lol. You may see 50 on a custom e85. My truck total may have gained 90 with a ported mustang intake omega tune long tubes off-road x pipe and a jlt and full 3" dual exhaust

I loaded the 93 performance tune on my 2018 5.0 coyote screw fx4 and made a difference. I love it so far. Transmission shifts better or firmer as it were. Better mpg also. I think it’s a good mod for any computer controlled truck. You’ll be glad you did.
