Best part was the interview at the end. We all know he deserves more minutes and he'd have them on any other team. He obviously knows that too. But the very first thing out of his mouth was "look at Hauser and Muscala too," Not "see what I can do." That's a mature person and a good teammate.

Really hope that these recent performances by Pritchard and Hauser and some of the other bench guys convinces the C's to play them during the play-offs, especially if Tatum and some of the starters hit a cold spell like they sometimes do. Payton is just a damn spark plug. Gonna be a shame if he leaves next year but I can understand from his point of view: he knows he can play a bigger role on a team than warming the bench and he's proving it.

When you have Smart, White and Brogdon in guard rotation it is tough to give minutes to PP. Even, he is not the best fit to Boston, cause he is a defensive liability unfortunately due to his size. In certain matchups (maybe in a final vs Gsw or a first round vs atlanta hawks) he can be given minutes and he can make the impact. But against bucks, or philly I don't see his place in play-off. ;(
