    Samora Machel was a great revolutionary leader who had so much love for Mozambique and Africa as well. His contributions to his people and Liberation struggle across Africa was commendable

    I'm a LIBERIAN , my senior brother told me about this GREAT Man's story , and today October 2nd, 2020 , my first time watching some of his LEGACIES on RUclips.
    He was truly a GREAT leader of Africans in Africa , may his soul rest in perfect peace .
    We need to love and forgive ONE ANOTHER.

    Eu estava presente a esta reunião. Dos poucos brasileiros presentes, estava coordenando a parte de gravação de som direto das filmagens. Na Época eu era um dos técnicos estrangeiros contratado para atuar como consultor e coordenador de produções no antigo INC hoje INAC - Instituto Nacional do Audiovisual e Cinema de Moçambique, Fui chamado pelo diretor do filme, o cineasta Ruy Guerra, moçambicano de nascimento. E também à época um dos Consultores do INC e do Ministério da Informação.

Acho que uma busca mais detalhada no Museu do Cinema em Moçambique possa ser mais útil. Procure o INAC ou a TVE cujos arquivos devem ter muito material.

Eu gostaria muito de saber deles alem de estórias sobre batalhas, táticas e armas. Gostaria de saber de fato a motivação deles em suas próprias palavras, longe de qualquer estigma de traição. Vc. conhece?

      @@lsnows Eu lamento, mas deixei Moçambique em 1989. E mesmo mantendo muitos laços de amizade no País, perdi completamente os rumos dessas pessoas. Acredito que após esse processo, todas as pessoas foram integradas normalmente à vida do país e não saberia informar se houve algum acompanhamento. Mas se houve algum tipode controle dessas pessoas poderá ser procurado junto ao Departamento de trabalho ideológico do partido FRELIMO, ou na Universidade Eduardo Mondlane, caso haja algum estudo nesse sentido. Eu realmente me desconectei disso.

      @@kachaso I'll say it again Pik Botha who worked for the apartheid government before turning against them said that the investigation should be re opened. He knows something. The apartheid regime was not above killing people and making it look like an accident. Look up Ahmed Timol and many other prisoners who were questioned at the Roodepoort police station who all "fell from the ninth floor"

      Pois se foi sem eu conher pois só tinha 1 anos de idade na altura. Conto e falo dele aos meus filhos. Pois eu não sei se ainda terá um igual a este em Moçambique antes da minha velhice. Ou se meus filhos verão, pois estão todos corruptos e sem carácter só querem saber da barriga deles. E se comportam pior que os da pide ou traidores da pide. Pois continuam a fazer hoje pior do que isto.... Traindo se entre eles mesmo. É explorando o povo moçambicano

      Samora machel continua ainda nas nossas vidas porque palavras dele vivem ainda dentro d nós, ele foi verdadeiro presidente d Mozambique porque tanto lutava para o bem d teu povo. No tempo d samora a Vida era bonita em Mozambique, porque havia um povo bem orgarnizado.     He was Dr. John Garang Best friend. During the Sudan civil war. We name his name under Battalion. Samora Battalion was named under his name by the SPLA. He contributed the uniforms to SPLA fighters.

    My father was deported when he was 9 years from Mozambique 🇲🇿. He left his family and he died with no family than me the only son. Hearing this story helps me to understand what was really happening. The only son he had am alone 🥺🥺

    Samora single handedly host the largest contingent of Zimbabwe freedom fighters against the regime of Smith and established many refugee camps in Tete, Nyadzonya, to mention a few. Long live El Comandante Moises Samora Machel

    Tempos inesquecíveis. Na altura estava em Cabo Delgado. Tinha ido europeu de dezoito anos e ideias generosas (viver só com meticais era coisa complicada...) tentar a ajudar um país que tinha acabado de nascer precisava desesperadamente de toda a ajuda possível, dada a absoluta falta de quadros em que Portugal se tinha retirado Grande Homem, Samora Machel. Na altura destes acontecimentos, tinha começado uma ofensiva generalizada contra Moçambique (militar, económica, o costume...) que estava na linha da frente contra o apartheid (Mandela ainda tinha de suportar mais de meia-dúzia de anos na prisão) e os "rodesianos" enraivecidos tinham inventado a Renamo. Convém não esquecer a História. Machel foi um estadista de dimensão que ultrapassava as fronteiras do seu país. Obrigado pela postagem e partilha

    I hate how the rest of africa forgets what somalia and Ethiopia did for them to gain independence. But Mozambique did not forget and named astreet after the then leader of somalia siyad barre.
    You could also go to the UN archives and see the amount of resolutions passed against Portugal headed by somali ambassadors to the UN

    Sankara, Samora, Lumumba, Gaddafi and Mugabe great leaders that fought against racism, poverty and inequality in the countries, leaders who really loved their nations, their continent and their people. Leaders that defied the imperialist powers who supported racist laws that inflicted pain in the major part of the population.

    I have a lot of respect and admiration for President Samora Machel! He was a great revolutionary leader and he loved Mozambique and he loved Africa. He raised the life expectancy of the people of Mozambique. He was one of the greatest leaders in Africa.

    O que me admira é como esse material foi obtido, se na Época o INC era o único detentor dos negativos e o filme foi editado na Produtora Kanemo, onde eu era diretor. A edição do filme em 16mm que eu saiba nunca resultou numa cópia de som sincronizada. O filme foi entregue editado para o INC e foi copiado para vídeo U-Matic na Kanemo Produção e Comunicação.       E como choramos até eu que so tinha 1 ano de idade quando os próprios ladrões de hoje no governo o mataram. Soube de toda história e hoje meus filhos são afetados pela mesma perda. Nao há futuro pra nós em moz e tive de imigrar há 5 anos pra Portugal. E quarta agora voltaram a ganhar de novo os capitalistas pretos como dizia samora nestes tempos. Moz está nas mãos deles de novo só roubam e exploram os próprios irmãos. Nem quero imaginar como seria hoje meu Moçambique se este homem fosse vivo. Meu Deus seria maravilhoso até dói tbem de imaginar porque não passa de um sonho que nem sei se um dia se realizará. Moçambique está vendido e perdido hoje somos notícia de maior país mais corrupto da África. Affff em tenho mais palavras.

    When the Portuguese left Mozambique they poured concrete down the toilets of the tall buildings, changed the electrical wiring if factories, took the city drawings, left the country with 3% literacy and a few craftsmen. It was Zimbabwe who in the 1980s set up programs to teach Mozambicans English , civil service operations, farming techniques. Zimbabweans students would go and teach in schools. Then I believe the Portuguese took him out as he was in alliance to form a federation with Zimbabwe. He was leaning toward English speaking Mozambique. Chissano reversed these policies. He should be made to answer why he did not continue...
