I would put the realistic ceiling at 11-6 and the realistic floor at 4-13. And I think there is a 95% chance or so they fall in between 4-13 and 11-6. If you get into longshots, like 1 in 1000 type odds, they could go 15-2 and 1-16, but I can of think of the realistic ceiling and floor covering about 95% (19/20) actually outcomes. That said with 32 teams, that means on average one to two teams each year will fall outside their realistic ceiling and floor.
Damn Craig, you’re more optimistic than me with the ceiling. I would say 10-7, with a wild card.

We could beat the Falcons in a playoff game. It would be a double grudge match for us because of Cousins and the Falcons fired Dan Quinn.
Dallas, Arizona, Giants, Philly….a bunch of grudges!
I'd say 8-9 or 7-10 is best case for me. Didn't do enough with the O line behind a rookie qb. Not a ton of weapons either.
This team was in the playoff hunt in 2022. The talent and coaching is better. I see them sneaking into the wildcard possibly. Likely 1 and done. That's a good team in my book. Not a Superbowl contender but get to the dance.

I believe they can win the division this season. From the bottom to the top like the 1999 St Louis Rams. Better coaching, better linebackers, a more physically and athletic QB with multi skills and a high ceiling. People keep saying rebuild but the core of the defense is filled with veterans. Barring good health this team has a chance to win the division. The Commanders are definitely the wildcard and no one knows what’s coming. It’s all about belief and confidence and if the team believes in themselves enough they could shock the NFL world.
I'm going 9-8 with a 10-7 ceiling and a 7-10 floor.
5-7 wins is my prediction
I mean, if we're talking ceiling, it should be even higher than 10 or 11 wins. Certainly, it's getting into the skinny end of the bell curve, but why can't they be worst-to-first? Why can't they win a playoff game or two? Who says they have to be road playoff games?
What if Coleman ends up being what Peters says? What if Wylie is more of a middling RT than an awful one like his PFF grade says? What if Jayden has a CJ-like season from the pocket, but adds a Griffin/Lamar level impact in explosive scrambles and tilts the run game the way zone-read can?
What if Quinn's track record for manufacturing pressure means this team's lack of a premier edge doesn't hurt as badly as it did under Rivera when Sweat and Young never really lived up to their billing? What if the secondary just plays competently together, and stops giving up easy explosive plays because they haven't been taught the system in a competent way? What if having good LBs actually matters?
I can just as easily put a skinny tail floor together that would be based on the OL being as bad as some people think, the newness of scheme taking longer to get together on, and so forth...but if we're talking about ceilings and floors, we're not talking about the fat part of the distribution. For the record, I think the fat part is probably around 7 or 8 wins.
The absolute ceiling for this team IMO is 9 wins. The only way that can happen is if Daniels has a better rookie season than RG3 but not quite as good as Stroud which will be difficult with their subpar tackles and the defense improves to the point it is a top third of the league unit. Couple those things with good health it makes reaching my ceiling for this team very unlikely.

If the Giants with Daniel Jones passing for 4 TDs in 1 season can win a playoff game, I think ITs POSSIBLE we can win a playoff game.
I'll preface by saying I DO NOT want this to happen. What about the scenario where JD5 gets injured (Biadasz steps on JD5's long ass skinny foot and breaks it)? Do we think there a possibility of Heartman filling in and being really good? I worry about a Smith/Kaepernick situation.

Hm. Realistic ceiling? I think Jayden is going to be good. Probably the best of the QB's drafted. Tackle holds the offense back some, but Jayden's legs help there. Defense is going to be much better than last year. Not just better players, but the coaching is so much better. 10 wins I think is the ceiling for this team, realistically. I think our schedule is pretty tough.
