We have a small, small group of ISA Brown, & they started laying at 4 months, & that little group is still laying at 2 & 1/2 years old, & they lay eggs consistently at 95% of the flock daily. They're pretty amazing!
@@diyagric Thank you so much for that feedback. We are starting more new chicks, but that gives me great hope our small group of ISA Browns will continue to be in egg production a little longer than we anticipated. Many thanks for your time & effort to reply. Thanks very much! God bless you & your family!
Thanks for the helpful advice! I learned from your video that I should be more consistent with my routine with the egg layers (less fluctuations in the times I check their houses). Thanks!
When you purchase point of lay birds, you cannot know exactly how well the birds have been nurtured, from day old to like 18 weeks when the farmer purchases them. What signs can one look out for to ascertain that the birds are viable or have been nurtured well?
Water from the ground is different in different locations in the country. Not being a scientist I cannot say with exactitude what causes this. But it's the way it is. What can we do to purify the water either from the borehole or well. Is chlorination permitted? What would you suggest?

Wow! I enjoy your explanation sir, more anointing! but my question is, is it possible for a layer to lay 3 eggs a day? pls sir in need ur answer on this bcos this is a serious argument on it Sir.
On paper, 18-24 months. But there is a lot that determines what you get in practice. In any good case, laying birds should lay eggs that are enough to pay for their feed and still give you something for up to 18 months.
You are the best poultry farm teacher on this RUclips platform man. More grease to your elbow man
