The majority of guys are not creeps at all, sure they may stare but lets be honest we ladies do that to. Usually the girls that complain about that are either doing it to get internet attention or they are simply not training hard enough. But i go only at daylight so maybe there are worse people at night but ive been training for 3 years and have not had one weirdo try to do anything. Usually the people at the gym are either nice or shy towards me.
The outliers, in any context, always get the most attention. That’s how it goes. It’s also profitable to get attention this way now which is a key aspect.
Guys are probably L Scardi to talk to attractive women in the gym.
I try never look at woman at the gym. Even if they give me eye content why social media 😂

Revival, thanks for the channel. I bulked to 185 from 155 and my lifts are like way up. I’m currently maintaining my weight, and I’m currently in the novice phase of everything is going up by +5 every week. I really don’t want these 16 year olds to waste their time and figure this shit out when they’re 23.

Idk as a woman when I go to the gym in a big ass anime Tee I get approached by weird guys way more in that vs a sports bra and leggings. A guy asked to work in a set with me on the hip extension and I agreed and we were having a friendly chat. Then proceeds to stand directly behind me and watch my ass the whole time I’m doing my set. I asked if he could move over and he moves for a few seconds and walks right back behind my ass while I’m distracted doing my set. Mind you I had a HUGE T shirt on and sweat pants. I was very uncomfortable and left as soon as I realized he had ulterior motives. That being said, a man looking at me in the gym does not bother me. Tbh I look too! It’s a natural response and it’s just being human. It’s when it becomes blatantly predatory that’s when I have a problem with it. But ya know the strange few doesn’t speak for the majority so I don’t assume all guys are like that.
Guys will always find what we’re looking for, so to speak. He likely never touches the hip machine unless there’s a woman on it, then he wants to work in. Lots of guys think they’re slick when it’s painfully obvious they aren’t.
Some guys are weird af. Some guys aren't. Sorry about your experience.

- having ab anxiety and being scared to bulk from unrealistic standards from fake nattys
- falling into the dysmorphia and trap of the fitness industry
-overtraining and having excess junk volume of fancy “ optimal “ exercises and making things complicated
- being stuck in that sorta fitness cycle/purgatory since every fitness influencer has different philosophies on how to build muscle and ab-anxiety then you keep trying to change things up, trying out once fitness influencers way and anothers, when you yourself haven’t even made the foundation for gains
What you advocate for:
- heavy compound lifts, the basics
- a basic progression plan and progressive overload
- bulking and building a foundation of muscle
- mastering the basics
- not overtraining or doing too much volume
- not overthinking things and just going along with the plan
- having realistic expectations and not have fitness be this toxic thing
So here’s my question:
If I follow what I CLAIM you advocate for, can I overcome “ novice purgatory “?

Definitely agree with your opinion on exercise science. Honestly I've had worse results than I used too since getting wrapped up in it, and I;m not even that deep into "optimal" training. Consistency and effort are 90% of it.

I really like your content and especially how you recognize the fitness industry trap, I dont know why you only have 50k subscribers I litterally discovered you like a day ago and Im obsessed. But anyway, if Im training a ppl split with HIGH intensity, taking rest days after the leg day, is that too much frequency and would I gain more muscle from a 4x upper-lower split.

dude i think that the best thing would be a middle ground , for example instead of putting the illiac fiber pulldown as a primary movement just put it at the very end with something like 20 reps each side to get the pump and use very light weight so that you dont underperform in the rows or actual pulling movements . I m a powerlifter but i think there s some value in keeping very strict form ( only ) on accessories to limit fatigue and just that

but what if you're like me, and take into account the science stuff and the bro stuff? I listen to the science stuff for what workouts seem to be the best bang for your buck, but mostly just focus on "did i lift more than last time?" I doooo keep a timer and journal on me, but that's just cause I don't want to waste too much time in the gym, or rest for too little or way too long. And I want to hold myself accountable to lifting more each time. I enjoy exercise content - everything from Mike Israetel, to Eric Bugenhagen.
