Trains at Hitchin (ECML, CL) - 12/04/2022

The 164th video of my train spotting adventures.

This video follows on one stop north of Stevenage, near the junction to lines to Cambridge, at Hitchin Railway Station. A smaller 2-platform station without the intercity connections of Stevenage, Hitchin is served by fairly frequent Thameslink services along the ECML or to/from Cambridge, with passing Great Northern, LNER and other intercity services. A surprising number of freight trains passed today also.
