Your mom is so right about Victoria. She is manipulative, gaslighting, deflecting and blaming. She is SO toxic when things don't go her way. Ugh.

In a season that has felt more manufactured and produced than most seasons, having the final three women stay in the same room together during Fantasy Suite week is the most f*cked up thing they've done so far. It's very clear that once Hometown week starts, the women are separated from here on out. So is it not enough for this production team to let Madison and Peter have an honest conversation with each other without having to emotionally terrorize Madison on top of that?
Also, I don't think there's anything wrong with the ultimatum Madison supposedly gives him. She communicates like an adult to the man she's dating that she will have to remove herself from this situation if he has sex with or has had sex with other women after she's been clear of where she stands on the subject. I think that's valid. I think that's mature. And, quite frankly, I think that's the normal and healthy.
Them being in the same room is for drama. They are so insensitive.
And also Madison is giving him a choice. Which is fair to both of them. And he can make a decision. End it with her. He goes on with his life and she goes on with hers. She is just laying it out and I think it's fair.
And Victoria has a problem because she doesn't understand healthy communication.

It's not the fact that Peter's season has the youngest girls,... it's the fact that the Bachelor allowed the girls to manipulate him from the onset....Big Mike or Tyler C would of had a totally different season with the same cast of girls.

Peter *chose* the youngest girls...(and two drama queens as back-ups). There were plenty of women close/r to his age that he sent home.
The champagne thing on night one, def still would have happened. Victoria crying and freaking out over every little thing, is not Peter’s doing. I believe it’s both things going on, the most immature girls and Peter liking those girls the best.
Peter is suffering from a head injury. He got the head injury, stitches, and pain meds. No wonder he is confused.
I am 24 and even I can admit we need older and more mature contestants. We need ladies who are ready for marriage. That's why we are all here.
ALL IN on Tayshia as Bachelorette. Intelligent, mature, impossibly gorgeous.
Plus, there's a non-zero chance John Paul Jones wants her back and sneaks in with a fake mustache and bad French accent. "Allo, I am Jean Paul Jean!" and then he can quote Les Miserables lines to her the whole time.
If Tayshia doesn't want to do it, my preference would be they take a break from picking the next lead from the previous season and just cast a newbie. Do that for both shows for a few years until no one uses a show as an audition for the next show. That should calm down the "right reasons" types.

I agree with you so much on who should be the next bachelorette! We need a more mature cast in general, and Tayshia could carry the season so well! I can also agree on what you say about Kelsey that she could work, I don't necessarily see it, but it cooould work. The whole champagne thing could have just been an off day for her, and everybody reacts stupidly on those kinds of days... Idk, it could maybe work
But I'm hoping for an older cast. And I love Kelly, but I don't think she could have carried a season and made it interesting if you know what I mean
The first time I thought of Taysia being the bachelorette and I thought about her carrying the season was when Colton came to her hometown and she organised the bungee jumping trip and I just thought that wow she can really be able to carry a season as a lead and she is incredible and I really wanted her to be back the Bachelorette. I was thrilled that Hannah was the Bachelorette. If Taysia can be and I would be so happy because then both Hannah and Taysia who I really loved in Colton seasons would be the Bachelorettes.
From this season Kelsey, but if we’re bringing Taysha to the table definitely her. She has the charisma and personality, the story, the familiarity and she’s just plain easy on the eyes.

Why do people think Kelsey could be the next bachelorette? I can't forget how she called Hannah Ann a Bitch for no reason. I think it's impossible to like her since then.
I feel like Peter is always trying to play captain save a h** when it comes to Victoria... She cries and plays victim then what to you know it, here’s peter (without his question being answered) taking the fault for her B.S. per usual...
He may not have a saviour complex so much as he's not accustomed to tears being used as a manipulative tool (or manipulation from women in general). If he came from an environment where emotional expression from women was encouraged and regarded as authentic---as the memorable appearances from his mother would strongly suggest he did lol---he wouldn't necessarily have the psychological or social coding to recognize the difference between manipulative shows of emotion vs. authentic emotion. He probably thinks a crying woman is *more* likely to be having an authentic emotional experience than a stoic or shy woman, which also maybe explains why he was nervous and anxious with Kelly, Hannah Anne, and even Madison at certain points. Women that play their cards close to their chests clearly make him nervous: that's not his comfort zone.
Yes i feel this could in fact be the case, but it makes it so incredibly frustrating for viewers to watch..

I think you're blessed if you got off the show earlier. Who needs the drama. I question the star of the show if they are really putting in the best ones. Yes you guys are correct about Hannah’s name. She competed in Miss Tennessee for a while (I ran in the same pageant circles as all these girls) and always just went by Hannah.
Growing up everyone called me Anna, but when I went to college I started going by Anna Grace (first and middle name because I like it better). My dad still calls me Anna tho. Maybe Hannah Ann is the way 🤷♀️
Maybe peters keeping Victoria for the drama. Otherwise he’s really not that bright. Or flying planes can’t be that hard.

I don’t think it’s necessarily the fact that they have too young of women on the show, but I think it’s almost the mind set of the people they’re finding, back in the earlier seasons the girls were in a state of mind of I’m ready to get married, now their mind set is more of I’m going to get so much more publicity and Instagram followers

Lest we forget - Victoria is 26 😂. Sometimes age doesn’t equate emotional intelligence (lololol) or maturity. They want crazies, they are gonna get crazies, no matter what age. What they could do different is get more mature leads, cause I’d beg to say he was the problem this season.
I never comment on youtube (you're my first ever comment! - I enjoy your channel), but I didn't see anyone explain "flash in the pan" and so I thought I would. It's a metaphor from like the 1700s about flintlock muskets. You put gunpowder in the firearm's "pan" and when you fire pull the trigger, the flint strikes the powder in the pan. It sparks and should shoot the ball. But if it's only a "flash in the pan" it failed to shoot. So not only is the spark of "a flash in the pan" over quickly, it also failed to deliver. It's quick and worthless.

For bachelorette I don’t think anyone of these girls deserve it. They should bring back someone from a previous season like they do the men. But if i had to choose from this season my exceptions are Kelly and Kelsey. Agree tayshia for bachelorette!

I started watching from the first season and I was in college then. So it seems like the viewers, including myself, are just getting older because at the beginning the contestants were older than me back in 2002. Now I'm 38 and most of these girls seem like kids to me.

And I think Merissa told him more than what was shown. Lauren Burnham Luyendyk's mom was also at the date (and miked!) to tell him the truth about Victoria, but the old girlfriend was the one the producers decided to use. The producers already knew about her reputation before the date was filmed.

Really like Madison but really tired of everyone calling Hannah Ann a child when Madison is less than a year older than her and didn't even tell him, the king of the windmill, that she is saving herself for marriage. Hannah has been very honest with him. Either way, they are like the same age.

I think he kept Victoria because he didn’t want to keep Kelsey. Because Kelsey is so genuine and she said she was falling for him, so it would’ve been legitimately unfair to keep Kelsey and take her to fantasy suites when he knew she was genuinely falling for him and he knew he couldn’t reciprocate. Truly I would’ve rather he sent Kelsey home than Victoria so he doesn’t hurt Kelsey. However, after the conversations with Victoria in this episode, I wish he could’ve just given two roses (hannah ann and madison) but i’m sure production did not want that and had him keep Victoria for drama.

The difference in Madison and Luke P is that Madison is simply just telling him BEFORE fantasy suites how she feels about sex before marriage.. she isn't casting judgement on Peter, just telling him how it is for HER and what SHE WANTS in a relationship. Luke P was manipulative and tried putting Hannah down for not having the same beliefs as him.

Since supposedly, the ending is going to be a huge surprise, any of these women can be the next Bachelorette, but I like Hannah Ann. Tayshia is a good one too. To be honest, I was literally falling asleep during this episode. Your recap was MUCH more interesting than this week's Bachelor.

Mama Shay knows a lot of things and calling Victoria F a manipulator is one of them. Seriously. I’m not sure what he sees in her but at this point I’d be very happy if Peter just chooses Victoria F in the end and release us all from this misery. Victoria never answers Peter's questions or comments - red flag city! She is soooooo manipulative. She says to Peter "The ball is in your court," but what a bunch of BS since the ball is actually in HER court because she hasn't answered Peter's question. I agree Victoria is unstable but I also wonder if she is stuck in some trauma--like her Dad's passing. If she equates real love with pain, leaving or dying, subconsciously, she would blow things up being stuck in that loop. Unavailable men are "safe" in some ways so not to get too involved. I've seen a bunch of people date the "same" person with just a different name when they are stuck in some unconscious loop. There's a reason and I hope she gets to clear the energy of all. It can last for decades without resolving that subconscious replay. Peter's got something like that going too.

My opinion on why the girls seem like they're getting younger. 5-10 years ago, women the same age as these were not looking for internet/social media fame, were not found via instagram, and did not become the kind of celebrities they do now just by being on the show. I truly think most of them went on the show to find love. Nowadays, I think we all know that's debatable. I think that the show is also seeking out women who, above all else, bring drama and exposure for them. Think of how many followers these ladies have gotten over the course of the season, and ABC just gets to reap the benefits of them posting about the show.
I miss the old premise.
I wish Mama Shay could some how get appointed as mental health advocate for all of Bachelor/ette contestant nation!

I agree and there really hasn't been anything FUN to watch. I don't feel any real feelings between any of them. No sincere playfulness, no "I just can't stop smiling" feelings, no real fire that you can sense from any of them...it's just so bland in that department. I agree...a real letdown.
