Different times. The problem with Juan Pablo was that he ended up single. Ben Higgins made it ok to throw the world "love" around but still ended up with Lauren in a pretty successful relationship. Ben started the whole "falling for multiple people" trope and now we get people who are Juan Pablo-like (although I'd argue that Peter believed he was "in love" with the girls because he's kinda dumb and a hopeless romantic) but we've learned to accept the problems that Juan Pablo represented. But yeah, Juan Pablo was problematic and so is Peter, Juan Pablo was entertaining though...
Caroline M it’s a show. Juan has every right to not do anything contract or none. Ya, he was stupid with Clare but Clare is also a codependent. You can believe in love but not go blindly into love. Literal strangers.

Mama's boys are the worst...I know because I am one! I've had numerous breakups with lovely women over the years and it was all because of my Mother couldn't get along with any of them. I love my mom deeply, but she is exactly like Barb here...if she doesn't have her way, then it MUST be wrong. I finally stood my ground 20 years ago and told my mom that the girlfriend I with was "The One" and if she didn't like it, then she would just have to deal with it. I am now happily married 20 years with 4 awesome kids. Oh and it is no coincidence that we are living 1,500 miles away from my parents ;-)

Hannah Ann is good friends with Hannah G and Dylan. They totally coached her for this show. She never was in it for Peter but for the exposure. She did NOT want to win but had to go through with the engagement because everyone would have hated her if she said no. Everything she did was to be in the top 3 and further her career. I’m not saying I don’t like her because I do, but she was not in it for Peter. She knew he wasn’t in love with her and she was ok with that. And after watching Barb attaching her on the live show and Peter never coming to her defense, I knew that was doomed. Who would want to be with a man who didn’t tell his mother to stop. Barb was out of line but Peter showed his true feelings.

He had a woman with tons of issues she needs to fix before being in any relationship and two very young women with little life experience, both of which did not seem a good match for him. The best match I saw all season was Hannah B! Just so sad and disappointing for everyone involved. Depressing season. Most depressing was seeing Barb’s true colors as the manipulative, toxic matriarch of their family. I miss the Weber family from Hannah B’s season.

Barb was awful. Peter was an awful Bachelor. This whole season was just awful. They kept saying this ending has never happened. Did they not watch Desiree's season? Jason's season? Colton's season? Either of Brad's seasons? Mike would never have let us down this way.

So this was to fix that and appease the people questioning them about it (she can be seen but doesn't get to talk or have any kind of impact), but it made no sense so they all still looked stupid.

Jeff Kirkpatrick, I see a lifetime cheater in Peter, if he marries now. He'll have access to do it as a pilot. I say that Peter needs more time to sow his wild oats and get all that out of his system before attempting marriage. Maybe at 40, he'll be ready.

Maybe I’m totally off, but I found Hannah Ann’s “speeches” to Peter quite rehearsed and melodramatic. Don’t get me wrong, everything she said was on point, but it just seemed strange to me that she suddenly “found her voice.” Either she got a bad edit throughout the season that really watered down her personality, or she was playing the role, preparing for this dramatic conclusion all along. I actually find her personality quite likable now, but didn’t see that at all throughout the season. Or maybe I just don’t get her personality and can’t read her at all.🤷🏻♀️
I think he did mess up and say Madison and then had to figure out how to cover for it. Long pause after he said her name, during which he was thinking “oh,shit.” I also think he had heat stroke, not a reaction to Chris’s “news.”
Why do I feel this was all an act with everybody and SOMETHING UNEXPECTED is coming, because nothing makes sense. You know, I still don't know what Barb is talking about Madison. I went back and look on video of their meeting over 10 times, and this is what was said. Peter and Madie walked in and greeted his parents, then he apologized in behalf of Madi. Madi told the mother quote: "I love him, I can see my future with him, I could see myself loving him for the rest of my life". Why Barb is lying? Peter's family basically chased Madi away from him,.the reason why she left. Peter gave them what they wanted, Hannah Ann, and Madison was used as the sacrificial lamb at the end of the show, to give Barb a win, as if Madi is not the daughter of somebody.
I think she just deep inside still has insecure to believe he really loved her. But she was tryingbteally hard to roll with it anyways. With hope. I dont think shes fake. I think she truly wanted to find love. I dont think shes in this just for fame. Its natural to desire that in this process if u dont find love u hope at least it boosts a career in spotlight. Think that's 1 of the motives for anyone going on this show. But in human nature who doesnt really want to find 1. love as well as 2. fame for financial sustainable career/ (both) lol
Bismillah Rabbani Well, at the finale, she knew Clare was the bachelorette. So.. I’m not understanding that argument anymore. She was strong, articulate and badass. 100% Paradise Queen. she would already be apart of BN whether she made it to the end or not, and Hannah G recommended her.
Madi owes Barb an apology for making them wait three hours, and for not being "madly in love" with Peter after two months. Barb owes Madi an apology for being a nasty, vindictive, conniving, hateful, immature, wretched, pathetic excuse for a grown adult. I think Madi will recover just fine without it.
The body language between Maddie and Peter during the final rose interview....you could totally tell they weren't going to last. Peter looked like he was being forced into the entire thing. He really needs to grow a backbone.

I don’t believe Hannah Anne was fake it’s just her personality. She talks in a monotone and does not accentuate syllables that’s why she seems rehearsed, also I have a sister named Hannah and Hannah’s in my experience are very real just unusual and can be misunderstood.
Man, I thought the ending was going to be something so crazy and hopefully romantic, but nah, same old going after-the runner-up bullpolp. Blargg. I hope they are picking good solid guys for Claire and that they go to some beautiful locations even though ...virus, ugg.
Production has been delayed. Out of 30 guys there are only 7 that are 30 years old or above. Then Chris Harrison tries to justify it by saying that Clare dates young. It looks like these producers are never going to learn. All they are concerned about is producing as much drama as possible.
This is what you get. You get a helicopter mom who over coddled Peter who clearly has no idea who he is who tries to seek validation and tries to depend on Maddie. Maddie ain’t having none of that. Speaks volumes about Hannah Sluss though, you have to have self esteem in the toilet to sleep with a guy neglecting he has nothing to offer on the table. I’m also glad Hannah Sluss was able to stand her ground but I hope she can reflect because it does take two to tango.
I think Madison kept her mouth shut cause she doesn’t want to ruin her image or her future career lol 😂 Madison would have dumped Peter even if the mother was not in the picture.
And to think everyone thought Victoria F. was the villain of this season. She ain't got nothing on Barb. I hope that in future seasons the show never puts as much focus on the parents as they did this season because it results in disaster. Also it's a wonder that Madison has any lips left with as much as she bites them.

Maybe I’m totally off, but I found Hannah Ann’s “speeches” to Peter quite rehearsed and melodramatic. Don’t get me wrong, everything she said was on point, but it just seemed strange to me that she suddenly “found her voice.” Either she got a bad edit throughout the season that really watered down her personality, or she was playing the role, preparing for this dramatic conclusion all along. I actually find her personality quite likable now, but didn’t see that at all throughout the season. Or maybe I just don’t get her personality and can’t read her at all.🤷🏻♀️
I stopped watching after Hometowns, show frustrated me but I knew yall would recap it more interesting. Thanksss!!

I think he did mess up and say Madison and then had to figure out how to cover for it. Long pause after he said her name, during which he was thinking “oh,shit.” I also think he had heat stroke, not a reaction to Chris’s “news.”

Why do I feel this was all an act with everybody and SOMETHING UNEXPECTED is coming, because nothing makes sense. You know, I still don't know what Barb is talking about Madison. I went back and look on video of their meeting over 10 times, and this is what was said. Peter and Madie walked in and greeted his parents, then he apologized in behalf of Madi. Madi told the mother quote: "I love him, I can see my future with him, I could see myself loving him for the rest of my life". Why Barb is lying? Peter's family basically chased Madi away from him,.the reason why she left. Peter gave them what they wanted, Hannah Ann, and Madison was used as the sacrificial lamb at the end of the show, to give Barb a win, as if Madi is not the daughter of somebody.

I think she just deep inside still has insecure to believe he really loved her. But she was tryingbteally hard to roll with it anyways. With hope. I dont think shes fake. I think she truly wanted to find love. I dont think shes in this just for fame. Its natural to desire that in this process if u dont find love u hope at least it boosts a career in spotlight. Think that's 1 of the motives for anyone going on this show. But in human nature who doesnt really want to find 1. love as well as 2. fame for financial sustainable career/ (both) lol

Bismillah Rabbani Well, at the finale, she knew Clare was the bachelorette. So.. I’m not understanding that argument anymore. She was strong, articulate and badass. 100% Paradise Queen. she would already be apart of BN whether she made it to the end or not, and Hannah G recommended her.
Yeah I agree this season is totally flop! At least with Colton we got the fence jump 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 and he was genuine and knew what he wanted 🙂🙂

The body language between Maddie and Peter during the final rose interview....you could totally tell they weren't going to last. Peter looked like he was being forced into the entire thing. He really needs to grow a backbone.

I don't feel like it was fake, but I think she had plenty of time to write down what she wanted to say and practiced it A TON.

I don’t believe Hannah Anne was fake it’s just her personality. She talks in a monotone and does not accentuate syllables that’s why she seems rehearsed, also I have a sister named Hannah and Hannah’s in my experience are very real just unusual and can be misunderstood.

Production has been delayed. Out of 30 guys there are only 7 that are 30 years old or above. Then Chris Harrison tries to justify it by saying that Clare dates young. It looks like these producers are never going to learn. All they are concerned about is producing as much drama as possible.

This is what you get. You get a helicopter mom who over coddled Peter who clearly has no idea who he is who tries to seek validation and tries to depend on Maddie. Maddie ain’t having none of that. Speaks volumes about Hannah Sluss though, you have to have self esteem in the toilet to sleep with a guy neglecting he has nothing to offer on the table. I’m also glad Hannah Sluss was able to stand her ground but I hope she can reflect because it does take two to tango.

I hope that in future seasons the show never puts as much focus on the parents as they did this season because it results in disaster.
