I am a very happy Google Pixel 3 XL phone owner. I am also visually impaired / blind. Not only do I have to hope that a phone functions flawlessly without hesitations I have to rely on excessibility on top of all that. Meaning TalkBack in magnification. And if I have learned anything I have learned that not any two Android devices are the same when it comes to TalkBack and accessibility features. I actually owned the Samsung S10 plus it was an all right device except for the fact of one thing. Excessivility was a nightmare. Just after two days I returned it and got myself to pixel 3XL. it was very laggy when it comes to excessibility and on top of that dictation was a nightmare. Now, my Google Pixel 3 XL was a complete night and day of that Samsung model. I did not have any bloatware to worry about other than the bloatware that came from the Samsung transferred over to the Google. Lol any excessively features in TalkBack worked just as flawless as the phone did and it's normal functionality. No hiccups no hesitations just pure perfection. When it comes to dictation has been even better. Gboard is amazing as you can tell from this long comment I am leaving right now. For all you people are wondering how a blind guy leaves a comment well here's your example dictation is key. Lol I can leave long comments without flaws or hesitations 98% of the time. That is amazing when it comes to this perspective of a blind or visually impaired individual. I have on this phone now for almost a year and I can tell you I'm going to still own it even through the Google Pixel 4. Probably won't upgrade until the Google pixel 5 or 6. this phone hands down is amazing and I could care less about the screen resolution I could care less about what people complain when it comes to the battery. Works just fine for me and I use it for morning till night as it is my lifeline to normalcy in my everyday routine. I have never had this phone died on me yet. Just being near a wireless charging station or have a cord nearby and you have no issues. But I only charge it when I go to bed. I will be on RUclips off and on all day replied it text messages, fill my RUclips video here and there and still by the time 9:00 PM comes I am at usually between 20 and 30% still left. Not that shabby. I do have days however we have to charge it once in the middle of the day depending on how much RUclips I am listening to. But still I have no complaints people are just way too picky this phone is the best Android I have ever got to use. So good in fact I can't even find myself going to iPhone anytime soon. and they are known to have the best accessibility.

New to Pixel and loving it, using 3a. This different approach: software and intelligence instead of hardware prowess just gets me. Well done video, definitely agree with you on the camera. However, you seem pretty generous with the Pixel 3 (especially with its terrible battery life and still very average screen / poor brightness). I guess you really lucked out. I really hope Google will step up their game significantly with the Pixel 4. The Pixel 2 XL was a mess, and the Pixel 3 is pretty average aside from it's camera. Now with iPhone's 11 cameras being so great this year, Google must do better. This year was a pretty good year for smartphones, so if Google cares - they need to get the basics right 1st.
I wouldn't say the Pixel 3 has an average screen. I'm pretty sure it has a higher PPI (pixels per inch) number than the new iPhones. The battery life is rough but fast charging makes it somewhat bearable. And I definitely agree with you on brightness, it doesn't get bright enough in sunlight or outside.
An iPhone 11 fan that has a 720p LCD screen on a 6'1 inch display complaining about the amazing flagship display quality of the pixel 3, don't make me laugh. It's just the brightness, in every condition other than direct sunlight, it was the best from last year. Samsung's was too unrealistic and apple's was (and still isn't) nearly as sharp, talking about the flagship here.
I have the 3XL, love it as well, however, these Google phones do not have stock android, there IS in fact a very light pixel skin, icons etc...The only phone Ive used that has true stock android is the Essential phone.

If you love snapping pictures and taking videos then definitely the 3 xl. If you're that type of person who rarely takes pictures and doesn't worry about its quality, then go for the 9t pro. The 9t pro is one of the best midrange priced phones with flagship specs, plus that intrusion free screen is a godsend. Performance should beat that of the 3 xl too. Personally I would go with the 3 xl because I love taking pictures.

The pixel 3xl was 1000 bucks and one plus 6t did 12 gigs ram for under 750 ... so 4 gigs of ram was not because of price they have became greedy like all company’s ...
You do actually know that 4 gigs of RAM is more than enough even today for a mobile device? When an OEM throws ridiculous amount of RAM in a phone is because that's CHEAPER to do than having a bunch of software engineers polish the software day in and out.
