- Miki is a Munich based bike messenger who visited Berlin to gather some different work experience. She worked 4 weeks with us and was riding already like a local after the first day!
It was great to follow her, listen to her experiences as a courier and also making a proper breakdown of the daily street gear she brings while messengering.

Great riding, Miki! And really cool to see your gear as well. Those Japanese fishing gloves piqued my interest. Could you please let me know where to get them or which brand they are? The closest ones I could find are the Showa Temres 282, but I’m not a fan of the blue color. Settled for some partially rubber coated gloves from Engelbert Strauss for the time being.
I'd love to be in a City like that where all the streets are so smooth and safe, not like in my country 😢
Little late, but the english equivalent of gamaschen would be overshoes, spats, or gaiters. Gaiters will get the most recognition word wise.
Nice vid, reminds me of my brief fixed gear messenger skit in Phoenix. Never could make enough money for rent but always loved the work adventure every day.
Nice, you got bike lanes in Munchen! We got bike lanes also here in Philly, but they used for car parking or cars driving in it...
