I just came back home after a week of riding various motorcycles on Gran Canaria. Schaaf, your videos for sure inspired me to do this trip, I had the time of my life with my 3 buddies, thank you for that. This island is just perfect for riding, the weather is nice, most of the roads are in good condition and twisty all the time. The island has 50km in diameter, we did 1000+ km in just 4 1/2 days and it was absolutely awesome. Trust me on that, go there and enjoy every second of it! I will return for sure. And as always, very nice quality and riding, keep the nice content coming :D
Moin Das erinnert mich an meine letztjährige Tour.
I've been lucky enough to ride those roads many times while escaping the worst of the northern European winter weather. It's a spectacular and special place. Your audio and video are top drawer as usual. Multistrada looks very capable in the twisties. 👍👍
@Schaaf KTM 890 ADV or MultistradaV2 is better? Other reviewers said Ducati engine seemed lazier. To me ducatis gears seems to be longer. Which do you like better for carving corners?
I know this is oddly random but could you do a review on an older motorcycle? A old classic a CB750 to be exact. Year doesn't matter can be one from the 80-90´s or newer. And thank you for your very nice vid.
@@Schaaf oh! Thanks for the reply! I’ve been a fan of your edits for so long… can’t imagine how fun that would have been to bump into you in a place with such sticky roads and tight bends!! I’m sure we’ll cross one day!
Strade belle e veloci.
Beautiful road and bike, but why are you so low in rpm? The V2 needs a little more rpm to come alive. And do you engage the clutch in corners? I dont understand, this looks not at all your riding style (except for the lines)
Yea, on most parts of the road I couldn't have left first gear in order to stay in the optimum rpm range. But I didn't feel like doing that back then. Too stressful :) I can't remember bout the clutch but it wouldn't surprise me if I did since the low rpm performance is quite appalling haha
First off - awesome roads :) However, is it just me or does that quickshifter sound... choppy? May just be that I am spoiled by KTM, but you know. Asking for a friend here. :-p
This unstabilized view is killing my eyes, has nothing to do with real riders view during ride, or am I wrong? Probably your goal is to make the video more adrenaline filled, but for me its a bit pain to watch after whole day in front of screen. Otherwise nice work as usual.
@@Schaaf Thanks for reply. Yes, I can see the unstabilized effect quite far in past, the most I realized that in Versys 1000 video which is incredible shaky. I have to get used to it. Good luck & Have fun 😊
Beauty and the Beast! Lovely sound Much Love From 🇮🇳

you guys are living my dream!
This is a beautiful road, the lighting conditions are so pretty.
Wow! What a amazing road.

Wo genau warst du dort?
love the low end torque
Same :)

Thanks man!! I'm glad you got to experience that Gran Canaria magic too!!!
The view is as outstanding as the sound. Do you still think the V2 is more enjoyable than the V4? On sound alone it easily is.
Wow what a road!

I would be so happy riding here. Nice one!
I am torn between this v2s multi vs suzuki gxs 1000gx. Thoughts @Schaaf? PS how did you get a V2S in Gran Canaria island?

This year i'll go to this beautifull island.
Great vid pal, i seen a sign sayin mogan, my oldest boy stays in puerto rico with his mum. I love GC, i hope you had a good time😊
What's the reason for turning the traction control off? Not having power cuts by the electronics? Is it dangerous?
Wonderful road! Thanks for video!
thanks for the map link! Is there a map series for finding good paved motorcycle roads in Europe?
cool riding
Thanks

As you rode a new Tracer 9 GT, which do you prefer?
Multistrada any day. Tracer 9 GT is a fantastic bike, but money being no option the MTS is a nicer bike overall. I would get a tracer 9 as a commuter.
v4 sounds great
Cool
Old love never rusts :) Uhhh, canryride has a DesertX in stock as well...:D
Which month of the year do you recommend? I'm thinking of mid January next year.
That's the perfect time
It's a very nice road, what's the name of the place?

I would absolutely love to but it's impossible for me to get my hands on old bikes unfortunately
Why is it impossible schaaf?
@@Krezo200because of that one time in Liechtenstein that nobody is allowed to talk about! It’ll all come out eventually!!
I was there in March! I wonder if I saw you! I was constantly letting motorbikes pass in envy while driving a little hired MG :)
I was there in December and January so probably not :D

i would like to see Schaff on a fatbob 114
Fantastic descent. Where exactly is it?

Brilliant bike, though my ride in northern England yesterday only reached 6 degrees and was as low as 3🥶
Ouch!!
Dang it...i was about to ask about the yellow light 😂😂
Ok, something not in the description: what is your shoe size?
Nice video! Do you plan to try Super Meteor 650 ?
wohoooo!!!!
Hi Schaaf, Multi V2 oder Tracer 9 GT?

Far more interesting than Stelvio
The road? Or the bike (Moto Guzzi)?
nice!💌🤟
Thanks 🔥
why switching off traction control ? 🤔
If you want to see how good/bad electronics really are you have to turn them off at some point and feel if there's any big difference
@@Schaaf ahh ok💪🏻
"You can't hear images"
Me: Shows them this thumbnail :)
Do try super meteor 650
The sound of the africa twin 1100 is so much better. Its oike music

You are absolutely right. Ducati QS with the 937cc engine are always a bit problematic. Especially between 1 and 2.
Yeah, the way the poor thing shifts with that QS sounds like the transmission will grenade itself by 50k km if one is lucky.
👍👏👏👏👏✌️🇪🇦
that engine sounds like grandma's sewing machine 😖
Thanks
Bad Euro sound

I use unstabilized on every single RAW. ND filters plus stabilisation doesn't work in changing light conditions

1260 is the real multi
More like the discontinued multi. They've killed that engine platform. The 937 platform is still their workhorse.
Slower than a nun leaving church on Sunday. Should’ve asked my gran to film instead…
