Is it okay to mic your kick with a sm 48? All I have in my collection is an sm 48, an sm57 and the cheap condenser mic bheringer makes that I used to use for overhead. 3 mics is too complicated. They are my only mics and stands in the studio so I always have to move them around as well.

@@shawnlennon1947 any mic is better than no mic, so these 3 are a good start. Go for it, test, experiment and see what sound best 🙌
