*Wreck happens*
Commentator 5 seconds later: oh we have a huge crash 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Of course also Dan Wheldon... but thanks for omitting the fatal crashes. All of them are horrible crashes.
When a Stock Car goes into the fence you SHOULD survive.
When an Indy Car goes into the fence you MIGHT survive.
I like both styles of racing but Indy Cars are far far less forgiving
Say that to the nascar driver where his body was shredded down to the waist
Seawolf his arm was stuck in the fence explain that
Sw Gaming lol ever hear of Tom Pryce? Or even Justin Wilson? That shit wouldn’t happen with stock cars
@@tsunamianakin9649 he was Russell Phillips if you dont know.
@@AshToxin wasn’t Tom pryce the guy who got hit by a car that’s has happened in nascar a safety official was injured and the car he was working ons driver died and people can get hit in the head in a closed cockpit car in fact DW almost got hit by debris thrown from Bobby Alisons car
Wow Mike Conway’s was scarily similar to Scott Dixon’s in 2017.
I think you mean Scott Dixon's crash was eerily like ..
4:20 that sound haunts me.
I was there for Ryan Briscoe in 05
Same, I was only 7.
@@coach_scuffy I was 8 I believe
Lol, that was useless and pointless...
@@tylerdurden4006 So what?
i remember watching that robert wickens pocono crash and i remember telling my dad that there was going to be a big crash, this is the one
I got a front row seat to that crash. It was very surreal.
Stan Fox isn't into the catchfence, the car just flies after hitting the wall, but it didn't touch the catch fence at all.
I don’t think Mario hit the fence.
Where is the Dario crash in Houston?
4.50
4:35 was dario franchitti crash
Jeff Krosnoff. Toronto 1996. Lap 91.
Non fatal
@@clxtch3493 it was fatal
@@taetomftigh I mean this video include only non fatal sorry my bad
He didnt hit the fence. He hit a bridge pillar driver first.
Forgot Pablo Perez Companc's catchfence crash in 2007 (dw, i only discovered it today), unless we're not counting IRL crashes:

These accidents in this type of circumstance are much more irresponsible of the pilots who love in some occasions to be a little more flushed. Oval gives no chance of error, an oversight and has an accident.
What I find funny are the so-called "Eurofans" (Formula 1 fans) who find themselves the "lords of truth" and come with the sentence that oval is crazy, that Indy is a ridiculous category, that oval has to finish and such. Indy with every accident always has something to improve in terms of safety. And that is very good, although the beloved and esteemed Formula 1 that calls itself "the safe", took 34 years to be able to become safe. Funny, is not it?
you misses jeff krosnoff in 1996
He didn't include fatals.
There were no fatalities in any of the crashes
TheEpicGamer321 so that’s why he didn’t include Gordon Smileys crash...
I think it was more debris that got into the catch fence in Gordon's crash. His was just head on into an unforgiving concrete wall. I guess you could count that as I have (unfortunately) read that parts of his body may have struck the catch fencing. Just a horrific and vicious crash.
Other fatal ones that definitely got into the catch fence: Dan Wheldon, Tony Renna, and Jeff Krosnoff. Krosnoff was my first experience in seeing a driver die live on TV. There are so many rumors about what happened to Tony Renna, but some say it may have been even worse that Smiley's, which is hard to fathom because of just how bad his crash was.
A couple other fatal ones where I'm not sure if they got in the fence or not (either way, it definitely was not the fence that killed them): Greg Moore (he went head first into a concrete wall, but the side of his car may have gotten into the fencing) and Gonzalo Rodríguez (I believe he just completely went over any fencing. Stuck throttle.)
@@kevinisaname: Gonzalo didn't strike any fencing, because there wasn't any.
@@slimlol-j5b Can you give me a timestamp of when you think it is? I don't believe it's in there (or anywhere for that matter). I've seen all of these crashes before. The one with the car flipping wildly at Indy is Mario Andretti during a testing session (I think? I believe he was filling in for Kanaan or something and this was well after he was retired. He was in his 60s during that crash.)
The only footage of the Renna crash is supposedly from security cameras that were placed around the track, and only local police and IndyCar have access to it. To my knowledge, it will never be released, nor has it leaked. There are only a couple of aftermath photos that show how far back the debris got. Renna's crash was during a tire test, so I doubt anyone else would have recorded it either as there would be no reason for ABC cameras or photographers to be there for a mere tire test.
Catch fence dont do shit. Its the posts that stops the cars... And kills drivers
Bro it stops tons of metals from flying into spectators wym don’t do shit
Maioria em Indianapolis!
