Yeah I saw the one where he was drilling and there's no way I'm doing that. Thanks for the tip!

They want $250-300 to do this. No thanks. I have 20 minutes to kill. Nice driveway, btw

If you put a ratchet in the square on that bracket and crank it, it will lift the tension.

I literally found that out the first day I looked at the alternator and belt

My belt recently came off and been watching videos how to replace. Glad this video made it simpler.

That did the trick. Great video. I couldn't hold the tensioner up with 1 hand for long, I finally got my socket into the tensioner hole, and finished the job. I Added a pipe on the end for leverage. #WorkSmarter

You are quite strong to do that one-handed. I needed my wife's help! Thanks a lot for putting this together.

Dude. Thank you for the video! My belt came off when I was trying to place it back after an alternator replacement.

Awesome recommendation for this belt replacement & it really worked on my 2012 Chevy equinox LS. Thank you for posting this video!

I used a squeeze clamp (inverted to push away instead of clamp inwards) to push up on the tensioner and pushing from the frame. It worked well and freed up my hands to put on the belt.
