If it wasn't so hot outside, I'd make the 30 minute drive up from Carson City and watch you play in person. But, I know I'd bring you bad luck. I stopped playing table games when covid hit back in 2020, glad I did. You're much luckier than I ever was, great comeback!

I always hit my 12 against the dealer two I get less mad taking the 10 then I would be seeing the dealer get a low card

2 on 12 is always a hit. Non bust cards are A 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 bust cards are 10 J Q K odds heavy in favor of non bust and 2 has low odds of 10 10
my book says hit a 10-2 against a dealer 4. I did it against another players protest once, and saved the table. Did mr. smarty pants apologize? of course not. will the dealer remember that brilliant play the next time a player is faced with that same hand? of course not.
Don’t play ez bust. It is the worst side bet ever with over 10% house edge even with a 6 shown. It is stupid to play it.
The second double on that soft 18 was stupid tbh. You had a winning hand and the dealer wouldve had 17. I mean EZ bust fine, but you messed up the cards for yourself after.
No person. He played it right. A soft 18 IS a double from a dealer 2-6. 18 is not a safe or guaranteed hand. A soft 18 is the most wrongly played hand in blackjack. You can tell a real* bj player from an ignorant one with that scenario.
Soft 18 is ONLY a stay on dealer 7 or 8. You have a slight advantage there assuming a dealer has a face hidden card, and a regular hit on dealer 9 and face/10 value cards.
Anyhow, dealer broke he won thisbround, including the EZ bust 🤷♂️. So your point is null and voided.
