At some point, they should have displayed the Superman "S" on the back-screen. You cannot even tell that there is a chorus in this score. At some point the music just becomes screechy and irritating. I love the build up to what unhappily just turns out to be a lot of screehiness. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 points. Hanz should have listened to a lot more Beethoven to get an idea about how to build climax without creating so much dissonance. Hans is obviously very talented, but his talent has obvious limits. His scores to Pirates of the Caribbean and The Gladiator sound nearly identical. Unfortunately, we no longer have James Horner to turn to, so if I were to do a big production flick, I think I would hire Alan Silvestri and see (hear) what he could produce. He's a better bet than Danny Elfman (who is great at creating soundtracks for Tim Burton's films).

I didn't think any composer could outdo John Williams score. Boy was I wrong, I cried the 1st time I heard this music.
Greatest theme of any superhero period
Brandon Gonzales the Black Panther theme is crazy good. But this is by far the greatest Superhero score

Thor Odinson the screeching is the guitar reverb which should've been the trumpets playing the proper notes instead, would've been more epic & fitting
