Oh I've missed these, I have stopped using asda too, as long as you check dates in lidl you are good. And there sun cream works too. Yes, yes and yes to all this. 😘🥰, Except hate rice cakes like eating door mats 🤢
Luke do you have farmers markets out there, we have some here different ones a few days doing the week. You can get fresh vegs, bake items, some honey, fruits and there is one that does fresh meat. They are a little less money then the stores and your helping the farmers.
I love watching your grocery hauls and meal ideas, your recipes give me ideas as I am vegetarian too, also love pasta! Those burgers are fantastic, last time they were on offer in Tesco I bought six packs! x
I can’t believe you got all that for £50. Canny shopping. The tart with puff pastry is so easy to do, can be adapted in so many ways and always looks impressive.
Love the grocery haul/meal planner videos. I do the same thing. We plan on a Friday night and shop Saturday and it saves on waste and really clarifies what you need to buy in the shops so you don't buy rubbish or unnecessary stuff. Would look forward to more recipes/cooking videos.
I am not the best with meal planning but I always learn something in your videos. I just started going to this farm to buy vegetables and eggs. Someone sells homemade candles there that are so awesome. Have the a great day.
We live in the sun and eat lots of pastas, homemade pizzas and salads, Will definitely be buying that book it looks fab, Love your veggie meals, Looking forward to returning soon to cheaper grocery bills :-)
Just subscribed to ur channel, loved the haul and the Dinner ideas. I don't eat gluten so have to buy silly priced pasta from sainsburys but I do all my other shopping at lidl. Sending love from North Norfolk. 😘
Love these shopping / meals for the week videos , agree with you about Asda they seem to be getting so expensive I find I am spending around £150 / £180 ish per week so I need to start buying exactly what I need instead of filling the cupboard/ fridge with things for treats that never get eaten
I especially love the food shop hauls and cooking segments. But then I love all your posts. I enjoy seeing the similarities as well as the differences in products and prices there compared to here in the USA. Regards from Florida.
Luke - when you transitioned to a Vegetarian, did you find your shopping bills went up? Also did you find it difficult to give up meat? I am considering becoming one was although my Hubby would never give up meat! Ali x
Hey Alison, actually the opposite! They were about £10-£15 cheaper just as me and Zara don’t really buy meat alternatives and just bulk out our meals with beans/grains. It was difficult I’m not going to lie and I do still have cravings for meat but I think any meal you substitute meat for veg is a step in the right direction even if you aren’t fully vegetarian x
Methinks those cookbooks are breeding again Luke ha ha 😂 😆 😄 I'm off to lidl this morning always go there i haven't seen those microwave potatoes will look out for them for a quick fix maybe nice to slice and fry with garlic etc after they have been cooked lot quicker than boiling them best wishes
Brilliant Luke as always would love to see top 5 pasta 👍👍 we go aldi then sainsburys 😁 was eating lots of salad but weather has changed not complaining as its been to hat for me 😔 from what have seen on news London no doing so good weather wise 🙄 take care 🤗🤗💞💞
That's a good amount of food you got from LIDL & great that you're able to stay on budget. Does all that last for a full week or two Luke? Nice to see you're able to get lots of fresh produce as well. Thanks for sharing. Much love from Fort Worth, Texas! 😊🍅🍏🍓
That is lots of processed food for people who wouldn't bother to cook, with no meat or fish we could have same meals for half the money! What are you banging on about 😂😂😂😂
@@LukeCatleugh ready made garlic bread:))) ever tried to spread some butter on some bread with some garlic, or a hummus ever heard of blending up some chick peas:) and half of that veg could be just grown in the garden:))) but yes that is considerable step up from from fish and chips your drunken council estate mother used to feed you:))) still dreaming about easy money like all your folks do)) tried to do something useful rather than posting lots of crap on RUclips
Another great haul! I'm loving the pasta ideas, too. I do have to say I'm wondering when you will start work on a cookbook. ;)
I made Chorizo and mozzarella gnocchi bake but with pumpkin gnocchi
