I feel like comparing Tinashe to Beyonce is somewhat disrespectful. Tinashe has been in the industry for 10+ years and has proven herself throughout every controversy, label change, and “underrated” status. Her last 3 albums were incredible and she’s doing it all independently. She deserves her flowers!
Tinashe just has that special something about her and undeniable sex appeal that is also very modest. She’s a star and I can’t think of anyone else that deserves this more. She has put in soooo much quality work and it is her time to shine.

I love me all the girls. Victoria Monet is an interesting case study. No big budget moments or major radio single, but just consistently picking up ground. Organically picking up ground. I also, think the one triple act cross over black girl concept might be almost done. All the girls are so different nowadays and are all winning. SZA, Summer Walker, Choe, Victoria, and Dochii are all so dope and are crossing over with unique artistry. If i had to pick one, i would say SZA seems to resonate across various audiences, which i might be due to the strong rap hip pop undertones in her music. But the clasicly beautiful black girl with a beautiful voice, powerhouse dance moves is dying. Thus the next it girl, won't look or sound like any of the previous generation

Tinashe will never deserve to be put in the same sentence as Beyonce. Sorry. I tried to get into her music, but that girl sadly has the blandest tone of voice there is. I see she works hard and yes, she moves better on stage than Chloe, but still, being a good dancer is not enough to be a legend. Nobody in the comments is fundamentally wrong for picking a side, as both girls have their strengths, but to be compared to Beyonce, IMO your voice needs to stand out, you have to have an iconic catalog and, optionally, a good dance show. I say that because not all icons dance on stage. If you ask me, I'll put bets for the future on someone with a great voice, and that is Chloe (she's already pretty great !) But her stamina dies quicker in performances and she has less control in her vocal range vs Tinashe performing intense choreo, but yet holds her vocal range effortlessly. Tinashe has a much larger catalog than most mainstream artist, but its not popular due to her loss of label support. That's pretty plain and simple but lets always acknowledge that her recent catalog has been self-funded with no appropriate label promotions, many female artist that have went this route have never been as successful as what Tinashe is marking as history. Chloe has had all the label support along with the biggest artist of our generation - Beyoncé - as a foundation of support since the beginning of her career. Tinashe has been blackballed since the beginning of her career and rumors aimed, it was due to Rihanna and Beyonce. But I will say this.. lets never shut down someone that is competing with an entire machine of what music industry is.. all the numbers you see Tinashe is pulling...are organic views and follows. Thats something no female in the industry can compete with right now. Tinashe is by far something waay more than most of what we are seeing in todays music industry.

tinashe is independent of course she isnt going to sell like artists behind a big label. but her work ethic and quality of music makes her sell VERY well for not having hardly any promotion and having to pay for her own tours and music videos
