LOL "it rides about how it looks" too funny. That frame reminds me of a cruise bike. You know it may not be the pretties but It rides and that is all that matters. 🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️..
Thank you. I don't know what it is about it I don't like. IDK if it's the straight down tube or maybe the long rear end? I can't quite pinpoint it. Sometimes I look at it and think it's not that bad lol. Thanks for watching!
@@Locojoe I do agree with you on the rear slant in the back. That part I don't care too much for but the two top tubes look excellent. It's funny when I watch you put parts up to the frame to decide which one you're going to use I'm doing the exact same thing to the frame. I thought that brown Brook saddle would have looked nice on that frame also.
I actually think that yellow and white frame look quite nice. The whole bike looks racy. That's good isn't it? You should ride it more. It's Macho amigo.
I'd built that frame up in a few different configurations but never really liked the looks. At some point I noticed the head tube was attached crooked. Decided just to get rid of it and put the frame in the free pile at our swapmeet.
You're welcome. Tinkering like this is a nice distraction for me and gives my mind a break from some of the not so fun and happy things that we have to deal with in our lives. Wishing you the best.
Bitchin ! Budget building at its best....utilized what you had and didnt have to send any more money to china!! I have to admit, you learnt me something today and that was that brake mount improvising was killer ! That earned my subscription to ya !! Simple and fun....Loved it !
Thanks! Yeah I do tend to speed through it mostly to keep video short as I'm afraid people will lose interest if the video were any longer. I just put up another build video today but it also moves pretty quickly. Maybe sometime I'll try and show in a little more detail what I'm doing. Thanks for watching and the input.
What an ingenious little fix for the rear brake mount.
Yes it is although I can't take credit for it. I've seen it done somewhere before. Thanks for watching.
Nice to see you saved most of the bike from ending up at a scrap yard and repurperse them
Thanks.
Rad build! I got stoked when I saw the bear trap pedals
Thanks! Yeah I need to put those on something. Thanks for watching.
Oozing with rugged beater vibe😊
The true essence of cycling - or re-cycling😊 an oasis among all the break the bank high tech bike videos -thanks Randy
Thank you. Yeah there's much more joy for me tinkering with junk than fussing over expensive high end stuff.

Thanks Timothy. Yeah regardless of how it looks or rides I got enjoyment out of both building riding it.
Rat builds my fave 🇬🇧👍
Mine too. Thanks dazza.
I actually love the frame. Probably one of the best frames you have in Your collection. The double top tube has always been my favorite. Cool build

@@pokey764ids The Brooks was nice, but the black saddle and black pedals went together well.
@@billincolumbia it's still a very cool build for sure
Your channel is friggin’ awesome!🔥
Love the trick with the rear brake!
All the Best!
Thank you!

@@Locojoe Oh, that's too bad. Another one will come along. Always do it seems.
By far my favorite Rat Bike Build to Date. I'd buy that for sure...
Thanks.
“It rides about how it looks” 😅 Looks kinda cool and kinda weird lol
That's a good description. Thanks.
Thanks for a break from my troubles!

I think it looks cool. Probably a little heavy in the ride. Fun build. Thanks for sharing.
Oh yeah It's heavy lol. Thanks for watching.
Awesome build, I wish you wouldnt speed through the working sequences though.

I like it!! I'd like to have that frame!
I think it looks cool ! You do good work…((:
Thank you!
Thanks!!!
why not put the three by front crank on that bike?
I don't really have a need for that many gear options where I ride and it's one less thing to fuss with.
Not one thing worth keeping on that pos
